Chapter 424 - 378 Sujin Sisters

Inside one of Tokyo's luxury hotel suites, the famous Sujin sisters—Hana and Mina—were curled up on a plush velvet couch, each with their ZEPS cotrollers in hand. The room was lined with snacks, game magazines, and unopened merch boxes from ZAGE. Despite their busy schedules as chart-topping duo singers, both girls were in the middle of a heated handheld gaming session and they have 2 tvs and both with ZEPS

"Take that! Tsukian Lunario, Moon Shaker smash!" Hana shouted, pressing her buttons furiously.

Mina frowned, her eyebrows twitching as she watched Hana's brutal approach to the game. "Tsk tsk, Hana, you're such a barbarian. Using Tsukian with that clunky Full Moon hammer? So crude! Tsukian is at his best with the Crescent Scythe—he looks so elegant, so refined!" she declared, her thumbs expertly tapping her ZEPS controller as she navigated her customized Lunar Knight build, eyes locked with laser focus on her CRT TV screen.

Though known across Japan for their flawless performances and angelic voices, the Sujin sisters harbored a less public obsession: video games. It wasn't just casual love either. They were the real deal. They played through every ZAGE release on launch day, subscribed to ZAGE POWER magazine, and had even ordered custom skins for their ZGBs. But above all, they worshipped one figure: Zaboru Renkonan.

"Zaboru-sama is so dreamy," Mina whispered, half-focused on the game. "Even before the court case, I always imagined he'd be cool. But when he took off the helmet during the Universal trial... wow."

"Yeah," Hana said, nodding slowly. "I didn't think someone with that much genius could look like that. He's like a protagonist from a shoujo manga. Serious, confident, kind eyes and he is so young"

Mina nodded, eyes gleaming with admiration. "Yeah, and how does he create so many amazing games? Some of them he built entirely on his own! And even when other developers copy his ideas, he never gets upset—he actually encourages them to use his work as inspiration. That's the kind of mind he has. A kind, generous, and beautiful soul."

Their admiration had only intensified after their father, Seishiro Sujin, attempted to strike a business deal with ZAGE—offering both his daughters' hands in marriage to Zaboru in exchange for partial acquisition. Zaboru's reaction? A flat rejection. No hesitation. No interest. No deal.

Instead of being insulted or humiliated, Hana and Mina were electrified.

"No guy's ever said no to us before," Hana muttered.

"Exactly! That's what makes Zaboru-sama special!" Mina beamed. "He's not swayed by looks. He's not weak. He's not... ordinary."

The rejection had only deepened their fascination. They weren't just fans now. They were determined.

"So," Mina started, her eyes twinkling, "are we going to just admire him from afar, or do we actually make our move?"

"Obviously, we make a move," Hana said, pausing her game and setting the ZEPS controller down dramatically. "But we don't storm the building like rabid fans. That's desperate."

"So what then? Show up looking cute and pretend it's business?"

"Better. We use our idol status. We request a special performance gig at a ZAGE event—maybe offer to sing at a future launch. Get close through collaboration, not desperation."

Mina nodded enthusiastically. "And while we're at it, we show Zaboru-sama how much we actually love games. Like real fans, not just some pretty faces."

"Exactly. We charm him with brains, not just beauty."

Then Mina asked, "But when is the next ZAGE event? We totally missed the first one because we were still on tour! I won't accept that!" Hana thought for a moment, her fingers drumming on her controller. "Actually, there are rumors that the second ZAGE event will happen soon, but no confirmed date yet."

Mina giggled. "Whoa, so there really are rumors like that? We should totally go—we can't miss it! And hey, a little beauty never hurts. I'm working on a Samus Aran cosplay next week. Think I should send Zaboru-sama a sneak peek photo?"

Hana burst into laughter. "From that shady costume maker? Please. At least try it on first, see if it even fits right. And if you seriously send him a photo, you might as well write a will—Ayumi would probably send assassins to hunt us down."

That name, Ayumi, had only surfaced recently among ZAGE gossip circles. Some fans claimed she was Zaboru's girlfriend—an elusive figure with unknown origins but rumored ties to the underground elite. Neither Hana nor Mina could confirm it, but the rumors annoyed them to no end.

Ayumi even appeared as a contestant in the ZAGE Quizzes during the ZAGE event, where many admired her elegance and calm presence. However, her true background remained shrouded in mystery—carefully hidden thanks to her brother Akechi's efforts. Determined to protect her from scrutiny and maintain her peaceful life, Akechi worked behind the scenes to keep any trace of their family's complex history buried deep and out of public reach.

"Do you think it's true? That he already has a girlfriend?" Mina asked.

Hana sighed. "If he does, it just means we work harder. Nobody's invincible to charm. Especially twin idol charm."

"You sound so confident," Mina said, grinning. "So, what's the plan again?"

"We prep a soft pitch to his PR team: a performance proposal tied to ZAGE's next big release or event. Then we request a private meeting with him to 'discuss creative synergy.' Once we meet face to face... we let the sparks fly."

"Should we bring gifts?"

"Obviously. Personalized ZGB covers, maybe a custom figurine. Something tasteful. Something that says 'We adore you, but we're professionals.'"

Mina squealed, "This is going to be so fun! and theres no way Zaboru-sama will reject us this time!"

As the evening wore on, the sisters continued strategizing while playing games together. Outside, Tokyo's skyline shimmered with neon and energy, but in that hotel room, a new kind of mission was being plotted—not for fame, not for fortune, but for the heart of Japan's most elusive game developer.

And Zaboru? He had no idea what kind of idol-powered side quest was about to enter his life.

And Ayumi Main quest is about to start
