Takayuki Kageyama wasted no time diving back into Megaman 2 the next morning. The thrill of defeating the robotic dragon had him eager to continue his battle through Wily's Castle. He stretched his fingers, took a deep breath, and booted up the game. The fortress levels were relentless, and he knew this would be no easy task.

As the first Wily Castle stage loaded, he found himself dodging an onslaught of laser turrets and tricky platforming sections. Enemies became increasingly aggressive, forcing him to rely on precise movement and well-timed charge shots. He struggled but adapted quickly, taking down each miniboss along the way. The boss of this level, a massive Guts Tank, proved to be a serious challenge. The enormous machine rolled forward, launching explosive projectiles while smaller enemies swarmed the screen. He died multiple times trying to find a pattern but eventually managed to defeat it, breathing a sigh of relief.

The next few stages introduced even more cruel enemy placements and unpredictable hazards. Takayuki groaned as disappearing platforms forced him to memorize perfect jump timing, and narrow corridors filled with spikes tested his patience. The fortress was designed to push players to their limits, and it was certainly doing that to him. But he pressed on, taking down bosses like the Boobeam Trap and the returning Yellow Devil. With each victory, his determination grew stronger.

Finally, after countless retries and near victories, he reached the final confrontation—Dr. Wily himself. The mad scientist's first form piloted a massive mechanical skull machine, raining down energy blasts while hovering out of reach. Takayuki gritted his teeth, weaving through the barrage of attacks and retaliating with his most powerful charge shots. The fight stretched on, but he eventually landed the final hit, sending Wily's machine crashing down.

"That's it? No way... this can't be the final battle," he muttered, watching as Wily emerged from the wreckage and suddenly transformed into an alien.

Takayuki's eyes widened and grinned as the battle began. Alien Wily hovered high above the screen, constantly teleporting and launching homing energy rings. The attacks were relentless, leaving Takayuki barely any room to breathe. "Oh, come on! This is ridiculous! I can`t fucking reach him!" he groaned as he struggled to land hits while dodging the deadly projectiles.

Then, as he was about to be overwhelmed, Zabo-man V2 reappeared in a cutscene. He said in text, "You need help? Die! You abomination!" The armored warrior leaped into action, aiming his Twin rocket punches at Alien Wily whenever he floated too high for Takayuki to reach. With each successful strike, Wily momentarily staggered, giving Takayuki brief openings to land his own attacks. The two worked in perfect sync, whittling down the alien's health bar bit by bit.

But Wily wasn't done yet. After taking enough damage, he unleashed a powerful energy blast, striking Zabo-man V2 directly. The heroic figure staggered, his armor sparking as he collapsed onto the battlefield. Takayuki's heart pounded as Zabo-man V2 let out a final text cry, "UAGHHH!" before exploding and being thrown into outside the screen!.

Wily grinned, his grotesque alien face contorting as he spoke. "You underestimate me! I am the ultimate life-form!" His form twisted and morphed again, his alien body shedding its floating state. He now resembled a Xenomorph-like monstrosity from Zaboru previous life, crawling along the battlefield instead of hovering. "Oh, hell no... that thing looks terrifying!" Takayuki muttered.

With no backup, he was on his own again. The fight became more chaotic than ever as the monstrous Wily lunged at him, swiping with razor-sharp claws and spewing energy blasts in erratic patterns. Takayuki barely managed to dodge each attack, firing back with everything he had. His palms were sweaty, his fingers aching, but he refused to lose now.

As Wily's health reached its last quarter, he became even more erratic, his attacks intensifying. Takayuki gritted his teeth, trying to keep up with the relentless assault. The Xenomorph-like Wily lunged forward, slamming into Megaman, sending him skidding across the battlefield. His health was critically low.

"Come on... just a few more hits!" he muttered, gripping the controller tightly.

Summoning every ounce of skill he had built up throughout the game, Takayuki dodged a final series of devastating claw strikes and fired a fully charged shot straight Quick Boomerang into Wily's chest. The attacks struck true, the boomerangs striking Will's monstrous body, sending the creature into a violent glitching frenzy. Wily's grotesque form convulsed, his body distorting into an array of corrupted pixels before finally exploding in a spectacular burst of flashing colors.

The screen went dark. Then, as the pixels faded, Wily was back in his normal human form, trembling in defeat.

"YES! I DID IT!" Takayuki shouted, throwing his hands into the air. He had conquered one of the hardest fights in the game, and it felt incredible.

The ending sequence played, showing Megaman walking away victoriously while a brief cutscene revealed Zabo-man standing up in the ruins of the battlefield, with left arm missing and half face gone , shaking off his injuries, and giving one final thumbs-up the text show "Good Job You are very cool" before disappearing into the darkness. Zabo Man Survives!

Takayuki let out a long exhale, his exhaustion catching up to him. "That was insane... but damn, was it worth it." He shut off the console, leaning back with a satisfied smile.

Tomorrow, he'd pick a new game to conquer. But for now, he just wanted to savor the victory.
