Standing outside the door, Fumino stared pensively, remembering Mafuyu's suspicious departure earlier. She had been clearly afraid of being seen, wearing a gray baseball cap and a mask that concealed half her pretty face — the very picture of secrecy.

"And the person who just opened the door wasn't Daiki-kun, but a young and cute girl. Why is she at his house?" Her mind raced with questions.

Through the gap in the doorway, she could make out several figures sitting in the living room.

Fumino's cheeks puffed up like dumplings as she realized how distant she had become from everyone. Rizu no longer needed tutoring thanks to her excellent grades, and now Mafuyu was making secret visits to his house — they all had their own secrets while she felt like a clueless Psyduck, completely out of the loop.

The situation filled her with anxiety, but unable to think of a solution, she could only stand there, rooted to the spot.

Inside, Mafuyu trailed meekly behind Ayase, not daring to speak.

Mai lay on the sofa, her head in Daiki's lap, her silky short hair flowing freely through his fingertips.

"Damn it! I want senpai to treat me like that too!" Iroha gritted her teeth silently.

She couldn't help but feel annoyed watching Mai, her thoughts consumed by jealousy.

What bothered her most was how Mai had positioned her head — turned inward, her warm breath falling directly on Daiki. Mai noticed Iroha's disapproving gaze.

Meeting Iroha's stare defiantly, Mai deliberately licked Daiki through his clothes.

"Ah!" Iroha's eyes widened in shock, her heart pounding — how could Mai do this with her sister nearby?

Seeing Iroha's shocked expression, Mai's lips curved into a mischievous smile as she pressed her mouth against Daiki's clothes. The more distressed Iroha became, the more Mai's smile widened.

Mafuyu watched in stunned silence — what kind of student behaves this way?!

At that moment, Ayase stood to wash her hands, and Mafuyu quickly followed her to the bathroom.

"Ayase-san, it's getting late. Shouldn't you all head home?"

Outside, the sunset was fading, its last crimson rays disappearing with the dying day.

"Have you heard any strange noises at night?" She asked probingly.

Ayase knew exactly what the woman was trying to ask about. While gently brushing her long hair, she smiled sweetly and said, "Yes, we have!"

Mafuyu's eyes widened, "Did you see who it was? Were the noises chaotic — perhaps from more than one person?"

This question was far more direct.

"If I'm not mistaken, sensei, you're probably talking about my voice?" Ayase's face turned red.

She couldn't believe she'd said something so brazen, but she had to strike back at her opponent!

Mafuyu was thunderstruck, staring at the girl in disbelief — was this really the "proper young lady" that the first-year teachers at Sōbu High praised?
