Warrior Camp 4

Supervisor Melody brought Zack Lockwood to the office.

I was surprised. My gaze passed over the stone houses. There was not a tent setup here. The stone houses were better for safety.

We then came to the office room. After arriving in front of the building, I saw her go inside.

Creak!

I followed her into the office. Melody sat down in her seat and asked me to sit. Hearing that, I sat opposite her.

"I believe Supervisor Kenny must have told you something. Camp 4 is different. There are no strict rules here."

"Fights happen often here. If you have a problem with anyone, deal with them before entering the battlefield."

"But no one is allowed to attack their own side on the battlefield. Do you understand?" Melody said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. I nodded to her, but I thought of the planted spies. I was sure that planted spies were here as well.

Melody thought of something. She recalled her conversation with Dean Jerome.

She said, "I heard from Dean Jerome that there could be planted spies here. I haven’t seen any, but Dean Jerome was sure that someone will attack you."

"Since there are no strict rules here, the planted spies will definitely use this opportunity. I can’t attack them first. Use your strength to expose them first," she added.

"Okay," I replied.

She then gave me the new Warrior Camp 4 clothes, a badge, and a stone house key. I accepted all of the things.

I saw the house number was 156. After some talk with her, I left the office. I started walking towards the stone houses.

There were no towering buildings; the stone houses were built in a series, one after another. Soon, I reached my destination.

I saw it was room number 156. I used the key to open the door and went inside.

Then, I shut the door. My gaze shifted across the room. I activated my perception, covering the whole space. I didn’t find anything abnormal.

I began to settle down.

Buzz!

The next second, the battle alarm sounded. Hearing that, my face changed drastically. I had only just arrived, but the battle alarm was already sounding.

Swoosh!

I rushed back to the door, opened it, and walked outside. I saw warriors going towards the teleportation platform. Seeing them, I joined the group and started moving toward the platform.

In the blink of an eye, everyone passed through the barrier and reached the platform. To my surprise, there was more than one platform here.

I immediately went to the nearest one. The other warriors were surprised to see me; they didn’t recognize me at first glance.

Taking the opportunity, I stepped into the last slot. There were others already in the slot.

Swoosh!

Once the slots were filled, the platform activated. We disappeared from the spot.

Shortly afterward, my feet touched the ground. I opened my eyes and saw that we were at the battlefield. I stepped out and passed through the barrier.

I looked at the battlefield outside. Unlike the charred black land I expected, this was a green field. However, there was black blood scattered across the ground everywhere.

"Fight!"

The next second, I heard a loud shout from behind. I saw warriors coming out from the barrier, running towards the front.

Everyone was moving in the same direction, rushing past me. Seeing that, I didn’t pause my footsteps. I continued moving forward to the front.

No one paid attention to me. I guess everyone was focused on the battle; they didn’t have time to pay attention to a new face.

It didn’t take long before we got closer. I saw the appearance of the foreign creatures. They were humanoid creatures. A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes. The number of foreign creatures was high.

Boom!

The warriors started using elemental techniques right away, launching attacks at the humanoid creatures. The creatures moved fast and began attacking as well. Black light shot from them, reaching the warriors.

Boom!

Seeing that, I found my target as well. A humanoid creature was looking at me. In a flash, we got closer. I guided purple lightning through my body.

In a flash, I drove my right fist into the body of the humanoid creature.

Boom!

The purple lightning exploded. The destructive force blasted the foreign creature away. The creature, which was eight feet tall, was hit hard. It stumbled and fell to the ground.

Tud!

The impact force spread across the area.

But the foreign creature had not died; it still had lingering breath. The creature was Gold Mark Level. It needed a few more fist attacks to end its life. The creature stood up.

Boom!

My fist snapped out again and slammed into its chest. The lightning power exploded again, and the terrific force blasted the creature away once more.

Tud!

The creature fell to the ground again. This time, its vitality was close to an end. The humanoid creature smelled death. I didn’t hold back and continued to strike.

Boom!

After a few more punches, the creature lost its life.

Then, I caught another creature moving in my perception. Seeing that, I darted towards it to attack.

Swoosh!

All of a sudden, the creature shot black light at me. The black light was dangerous.

I had experienced the pain before, so I shifted my body at the last moment. I dodged the attack, and the black light landed on the ground.

Boom!

A deafening explosion occurred. The shock force spread across the place, and green patches of grass were uprooted by the terrific force.

I landed on the ground and didn’t let the creature release another attack.

"Lightning Condensed Finger!"

A powerful purple beam appeared at the tip of my index finger. The condensed power was strong.

Boom!

I released the beam at the humanoid creature. In a flash, the beam hit its body.

Puckak!

Black blood splattered on the ground. The attack left behind a deep injury.
