Chapter 1181: Colossal foreign creature!

From MC’s Perspective:

After killing the eight-legged creature, I returned to the previous spot close to the teleportation platform. I didn’t want to go deeper into this charred land.

If I got trapped or swarmed by these foreign creatures, it would be troublesome. After arriving at the spot, I waited for the next wave of creatures to appear.

Suddenly, I thought of a good idea before taking out the black sword. Looking at the black sword, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

I didn’t know whether the black sword could withstand the inheritance force, but I didn’t want to take a risk here. So I put the sword back and continued to wait.

About 10 minutes later,

I started to feel uneasy. At first, I thought the foreign creatures were aware of the intruder and were coming towards me.

But more than 10 minutes had passed. Yet there was no sign of these creatures.

"Should I go forward to explore?" I muttered.

The next second, I shook my head. I had missed an important point. These foreign creatures are different from the monsters here.

They may have different skeletal structures, but their brains must not be ordinary. These foreign creatures are intelligent beings.

Otherwise, how could they obey commands and invade our world? When I got this clarity, I felt goosebumps all over my body. I was about to make a blunder.

Fortunately, I got the clarity at the last moment. Then I continued to wait. I noticed that the surroundings had become unusually quiet.

There was no wind movement whatsoever. If any person stayed here for a long time, they would go insane. I guessed this was part of the test as well.

Not long after, I heard a faint tremor coming from the ground. My eyes turned solemn because it was one sound, but multiple tremors could be heard.

"It’s coming," I muttered.

Then I raised my head and saw what appeared to be a giant hilltop moving. But its appearance became clearer a few seconds later.

It was a visual horror to me. It wasn’t the giant hilltop that was moving; it was the body of the foreign creature. This foreign creature was different from the previous one.

It was over 150 feet tall. Yet the creature’s six legs alone were 100 feet tall. Above them was the size of its body. What’s more, this new foreign creature had the same facial features with a visible sharpened mouth.

I thought it was multiple creatures, but this foreign creature’s movement had caused such noise. I took a deep breath. I had already thought of which lightning technique to use.

It was difficult to kill this creature with finger techniques alone. When the colossal foreign creature was a few meters away from me,

I took the sword out and started to charge the blade with lightning force.

Crack!

A few cracks started to appear on the blade. Yet I didn’t stop.

When the colossal foreign creature lowered its body to try to eat me, I called out, "Sword Divide."

I executed the lightning technique. The next second, a powerful dark purple beam mixed with golden and silver shades released from the sword.

Boom!

The powerful purple lightning sword beam traveled in a straight line before hitting the disgusting creature’s head.

Boom!

An explosion occurred. The shockwave spread across the area. The tall legs of the creature began to sway, showing that the foreign creature had been hit hard.

I didn’t have time, so I didn’t use the shock force in this attack, but I thought this attack had taken its life.

The dark lightning was so powerful that it destroyed the foreign creature’s face, including the mouth. Its vitality was slipping away slowly.

Weird cry!

Yet the creature was unwilling to die. It knew that its enemy prey was alive, so it was desperate for a final attack.

Boom!

The powerful tall legs were hitting the ground, creating a deep pit.

On the other hand, my expression turned ugly. I was so close to getting stomped by those tall legs.

"What’s going on?" I asked myself.

The foreign creature was moving here and there. Now the aftermath was clear: half of the creature’s head was gone.

Seeing that, goosebumps appeared again. I didn’t want to waste my energy. Since the creature had been hit hard, it was going to die in a matter of minutes.

Not long after, the colossal body fell to the ground, creating a booming sound. Dust clouds appeared in the sky.

Gasp!

I gasped for breath. I was getting visual horrors one after another. Definitely, the foreign creatures are not weak.

Maybe I was facing the weakest one. I had yet to see any of them displaying abilities. But I didn’t want to take risks. I was going to strike them fast so that they could die faster.

Who knows what weird abilities the foreign creatures might have?

Time passed.

At regular intervals, I continued to kill the foreign creatures. My plan of staying in one spot was working well.

I’m sure if I moved ahead, it wouldn’t be the same. I could come across a large number of foreign creatures.

Eventually, nighttime came. I kept my perception active. The foreign creatures were hard to deal with. Some of them had colossal bodies that required multiple hits to kill.

I hoped nothing would happen at night. That was again my naïve thought; I guessed there would be more waves of attack during the night.

Boom!

A sense of crisis rose in my heart. I saw something darting towards me. The next second, I stepped away from the spot and moved a few meters sideways.

Boom!

Something struck the ground. The next second, the ground exploded. The shockwaves spread, causing dust and sand to rise.

On the other hand, my heart was not calm. I was facing a projectile, and that too at night. What cunning creatures!

Don’t tell me it was their plan all along, to take me down at night. As I had guessed, the foreign creatures were more capable of thinking and strategizing.
