An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 168: A ranked Orc

Many of his skills had leveled up, and he hadn’t noticed. Beyond that, the only change was the fact that he had forty-two days until he had to enter another trial.

And for the first time since he came here, he was actually looking forward to the trial, because he would finally be able to see the Iron Maiden again, and maybe he would be able to get some answers from them.

While he was distracted with the system, more orcs came their way, a total of ten marching together, and behind them was a massive orc, ten feet tall and an A-ranked.

"Riven, look," Sofia said. He stopped looking at the system screen and looked ahead, only to see the orc standing there.

"Ten B-ranked and one A? The exam is getting serious," Riven muttered. He gripped his sword tight and looked at her.

"Let’s split fifty-fifty, and the A-rank will be whoever lands the final hit," Riven said.

"That works for me," she said. She pointed her staff, all ready to go. Riven looked at her, let out a smile, and then charged forward.

She held back and started casting while he went in close. The first orc swung at full force. Riven dodged under and then pushed forward. When he was close to the orc, he immediately activated Inferno Domain.

The temperature rose rapidly, and the skins of the orcs started burning. Riven attacked the first one while it battled with the heat, slashing the leg and sending it collapsing.

He couldn’t focus on finishing off that one, as two orcs had already attacked. He jumped back and flipped, landing a few meters away.

Sofia cast her spell and fired a fireball at the one on the ground. The fireball slammed into the orc and killed it immediately. She got the first kill.

Riven, on the other hand, ran to the side, dodging the attack of another and pushing forward. He slashed the leg and sent it down, and this time he followed up to stab it in the head, killing it.

"Watch out!" Sofia yelled, then cast a fireball at the orc that was about to attack Riven. The attack hit the orc and burned its arm, knocking it aside.

Riven dashed toward it. It swung its mace recklessly. He slid under and dodged the mace before attacking with a slash, ripping the abdomen open in one motion and killing it.

The A-ranked orc saw that Riven and Sofia were actually strong. It let out a thundering roar. The marks on all the bodies of the orcs lit up brightly. They roared in unison and rushed toward them like savage beasts.

’It’s controlling them’, Riven thought.

The orcs ignored the immense pain they felt from the Inferno Domain. Their skins were covered with high-level burns, their flesh showing through.

Riven used Flame Wall. A massive wall, bigger than his normal one, rose and blocked off the orcs. He turned to look at Sofia.

"Ready an attack. They’ll get through the wall soon," he said. She nodded in return and closed her eyes. Multiple magical circles formed around her, more than twenty of them.

"Ready," she said, and Riven immediately brought down the wall, and the orcs rushed through. Their skins were burned so badly it looked disgusting.

From the circles, flame blades shot out, tearing through the air. They hit the orcs, tearing through their bodies, deep and painful.

With this, the orcs could no longer keep pushing. The pain they felt was too much. Riven smiled when he saw them like this. He got into a stance and dashed toward them.

Slash slash. Boom boom.

Sword and magic, Sofia and Riven killed the orcs. All that was left was the A-rank. It let out a thundering roar when it saw that all its followers were killed.

The patterns on its body glowed bright, and purple flames started burning from them. It looked at Riven with a murderous gaze. No mace in hand, no weapon but its fists, it launched forward, running faster than the other orcs.

It leaped into the air, hands clasped together to form a fist. It swung down with all its strength, its hands covered in purple flames.

A crater formed under the fists, sending a shockwave across the ground. The orc looked up and roared, its massive canines showing. It pushed forward again, throwing another punch. Riven dodged to the side and slashed. His sword dug into its arm, but he didn’t manage to cut through.

The orc felt the sharp pain. It roared and punched with its free hand. Riven pulled his sword out and blocked just in time. He was thrown back a few meters but landed on his feet.

Crackle.

The sound of crackling lightning reached Riven’s ear. He saw a flash and a bolt of lightning traveling through the air. It slammed into the orc, burning deep into its body and leaving a massive scar.

The orc roared, full of agony. Riven used that opportunity and attacked. He stabbed with full force, the blade dug into the chest of the orc and then he blasted the inside with flames.

The pain that the orc felt was immense. It struggled, trying to pull Riven away, but Riven was unrelenting. He used Flame Blast while the sword was still inside the orc.

The explosion happened from the inside and destroyed a huge part of the orc. It was still alive, but barely.

Riven landed on the ground as the orc fell. He walked to the head and lifted his sword to end it, only for a fireball to fall and end it all.

He was shocked when it happened. He looked at Sofia and saw a soft, innocent smile on her face, as if she hadn’t done anything.

"That was my kill," he said.

"You said the person that lands the final blow," she replied, the smile still on her face.
