America 1982-Chapter 526 - 103: Stripped of Black Identity_2
"Why haven’t I seen more detailed reports on BT TV network, I mean about those two old folks and Jeff’s speech on Coral Street? And why hasn’t Allen settled the labor union strike yet? I spent two days with Odelia, so you all think you can enjoy a vacation just like me?"
Martin walked up to Tommy’s desk, picked up the work report, read it, and explained, "But you told me that Rosario had entered into a partnership with you, or should I say with Jeff. Now you still want to destroy her as a partner?" Martin let out a heavy sigh and said to Tommy, "Shouldn’t we be shifting the problem onto the Republican candidate?"
Tommy tapped his forehead lightly with his finger, "Not a partner, Martin. Jeff is still running, so the problem remains unchanged. Whoever competes against him is an opponent. You have to think like that, Martin. Don’t treat politics like a child’s game where you’re either friends or foes. In the election game, all politicians you see are competitors or potential competitors unless they’re donors who pay for your win. You should... let me think... how can I explain this clearly."
"Got it~" Tommy paused for a moment and looked at Martin, "Jeff is a kind-hearted white man, Rona is someone promised and slightly holding onto the balls by Jeff. If Jeff wants to win the election, and Rona wants that seat, their way of cooperating is, Rona has to angrily rip into her Cuban Republican female compatriot to relieve the pressure off Jeff. After Jeff wins, depending on his mood, he may or may not give her benefits. Normally, Rona wouldn’t be willing, right?"
"No one would be willing. After all, who knows when Jeff will be in a good mood and truly offer her the position." Martin nodded, agreeing with Tommy’s statement.
"How do you deal with someone who’s unwilling? Apply a little force, yank on her balls to remind her, go after that woman, or I’ll go after you." Tommy picked up a pen and spun it flexibly in his hand, "The news on BT TV network is like applying some force to her balls."
"I’ll call them right away to have it aired today. What about the strike? Should it continue? I mean, although Allen hasn’t sealed the deal yet, that guy should have gotten the hint, he said the guy invited him to go hunting," Martin asked.
Tommy nodded in satisfaction, "How did Allen manage that? His progress is surprisingly fast."
"Spandex pants, the spandex pants I was talking about earlier, Allen just wore a pair, strutted in front of that guy, otherwise, how could I have come up with such a method?" Martin provided the answer.
Tommy thought for a moment about Allen wearing spandex pants, then made a shooing motion with his hand in front of him to dispel the nightmarish image from his mind, "Keep pushing, but don’t give that guy a closer opportunity with Allen. We’ll see if Rona is willing to obey. If she does, let Allen and the union president get cosy, then call the police, let Rona off the hook. Accuse that union guy of forcing Allen, switch the direction of the outcome to something like a headline in the paper plastered with news of a pure white guy named Allen getting screwed by a Cuban, perfectly matching Jeff’s campaign slogan: Saying No to Cubans. Use the chance to have Jeff call on the white workers to strike to replace Cuban union leaders."
Martin always found Tommy’s arrangements incredulous. Allen pretending to be gay in spandex pants to seduce that Cuban-blooded union president, getting cozy, then Allen suddenly turning on him and calling the police? Claiming the union president forced him?
"Boss, he’s a top man," Martin said, rubbing his face, "I don’t quite understand, if... he really doesn’t want to, how can he be forced? It’s as exaggerated as a man calling the police, saying a woman forced him."
"Aren’t there pharmacies all over Miami? Is it that hard to buy some drugs? Let Allen seduce him a bit in the beginning, get the guy to help Allen buy a box of mood enhancers from the pharmacy. As long as it’s proven that the guy bought the drugs, whether or not he really forced his way, that guy is going to be socially dead. Let him go fix pipes in the Florida Everglades," Tommy said with a rough outline of the plan without much hesitation.
Martin bowed his head, "Alright, if Rosario doesn’t attack the Republican candidate the way you want..."
"Then stick to the original plan. Allen and the union president carry on as normal, take him to visit the two old folks in the name of supporting the Jewish people. Those two old folks are now under the care of a Republican lawyer. The rest, it’s like handing a knife to the Republicans. How they use that knife is up to them, it’s got nothing to do with Jeff." Tommy said:
"Also, before you came in, I was checking the support rates of the three black candidates. Black people indeed prefer to support those of the same skin color. However, I noticed that all three candidates, to some extent, were trying to curry favor with Cubans at previous publicity rallies, all for votes."
"Apart from Jeff the fool, the other candidates in this district almost all understand they need to curry favor with the Cubans. Boss, that’s a huge group making up 45% of District 18’s population," Martin said, "Of course they have to make nice."
"So, you know what to do now?" Tommy closed the file, stood up, and stretched his neck asking.
Martin blinked, "Do what? You haven’t mentioned the plan."
"No, no, no, what I’m about to say next has absolutely nothing to do with me. I’m not a racist. This is all your doing, and your brothers’, the Democratic Party’s primary is tonight, and those three black guys will definitely continue to vie for Cuban support at the meeting," Tommy lit a cigarette:
"What should BT TV network broadcast tomorrow? Of course, Mr. Page’s favorite program, the one the Hart Family’s black brothers have been recording for so long, various news footage of black people being beaten up by Cubans. I want to see if your black brothers, after seeing that footage, will still be willing to vote in support of their compatriots who turn a blind eye to the Cuban’s violence against black people, and even grovel."
"So, they’ll soon find out that I, this nigger, helped Jeff, the white man, come up with the vicious plan to attack them?" Martin’s throat moved convulsively, "After this, I might get stripped of my black status by the angry niggers."
"No worries, maybe because of this, my dad will truly acknowledge you as his godson," Tommy looked at Martin, "Most importantly, those three black men will know they need to find you to restore their reputation, but restoring reputation comes with a price."
