America 1982-Chapter 426 - 60: Jason’s Healing Girlfriend_5
This woman, bearing the same name as herself, was simply too charming, too free, too independent. While she was pulled from the mire by Tommy, this woman relied solely on herself; she always faced this damned world with a smile and effort.
"Hey, I have to clarify, when I made my name, Godhawk and Roscoe had no clue how blue boxes worked. And of course, they’re still trash now. The three of us used to compete, taking turns hacking into the most difficult United State America telephone system networks. Both of them got caught, only I got away scot-free. Don’t lump me together with those two, they’re not worthy!" Upon hearing Susan putting her in the same category as the other two infamous hackers, Susy was quite displeased and said seriously with a frown:
"That son of a bitch Roscoe, because I broke up with him, actually ratted me out. That year I was seventeen, and the FBI took me to Washington. Those guys threatened to lock me up for decades and even made me attend a closed small-scale hearing in front of the Government Affairs Oversight Committee at Congress. It was like being paraded around like a clown as I demonstrated how to infiltrate the telephone network using a computer combined with a phone line and explain my motives. I was just seventeen; a bunch of old geezers hovered around me like flies, asking all sorts of idiotic questions. They didn’t understand a thing about technology. I found that seriously answering their questions was pointless; they didn’t understand what baseline meant, what technical vulnerabilities were. So, I had to act like their clueless little granddaughter, ’I’m sorry, it was an accident, I’m not too clear on it, I was just dialing numbers at random...’ That’s what they liked to hear. Right, a bunch of Harvard and Yale geniuses, how could they ever believe that a seventeen-year-old girl who hadn’t even finished middle school could hack into the United State America telephone system network?"
"Tommy also attended a hearing, masquerading as an angel burdened with sin." Susan felt that this woman was becoming more and more like Tommy, "So, they forgave you?"
"They told me to either work for the government’s computer-related departments or go to jail, giving me an opportunity," Susy exhaled and rolled her eyes cutely, "but they still wouldn’t pay my pension, just placed me with a human resources company with a pitifully small salary."
"You agreed?" Susan recalled that she had been similarly arranged by Tommy in the past.
"I agreed, but on one condition: I would not go to their office to work. I could do my job from my apartment since the hardware in the office was complete trash. My place had six computers, four conference call lines, and most importantly, working from home in no way interfered with seeing clients. After all, I needed to continue buying all sorts of hardware with the money from the flesh trade—those pieces of hardware are insanely expensive," said Susy happily, "That was the smartest decision I ever made."
"You mean, you became a well-known hacker and had a steady government job, but you were still in the sex trade?" Susan asked, slightly taken aback and unsure.
Susy did not deny it, nodding briskly, "Of course, why not? Back then, my high-end clients mostly came to me for BDSM, not sex. I discovered that because of the nightmares I had as a child, I really enjoyed tormenting men. What’s more amusing is that there’s a bunch of men in Los Angeles who love to be abused. Since everyone is looking for a release and I can make money from it, what’s wrong with that? The two men who hurt me said I was too pretty, and they couldn’t stand it. So why couldn’t I use my beauty to attract men, let them be tortured by me, to deal with my childhood shadows, and also make some money on the side? You probably haven’t been in the trade for a while, let me tell you, it’s really profitable. Do you want to give it a try? I can lend you my apartment, considering I now live with Jason."
"Forget it, I’m not interested in going back to the old trade," Susan smiled and waved her hand, "Besides, I think there might be a client issue, I don’t have as fond memories of that line of work as you do."
Susy looked regretful that Susan didn’t share the same passion for the industry, "That’s too bad, my apartment has a nickname in the industry, called Leather Castle. Any man who goes there ends up grinning from ear to ear, it’s equipped with everything they need, and my place is known as the most complete studio in the entire Los Angeles area. And those masochistic men are very generous, they tip big even without having to sleep with them. You know, I once had a client who was an airline pilot; the guy spent five hundred bucks just to kneel and focus on licking my toes for half an hour."
"I guess Jason was originally your client?" Susan glanced at Jason, who was deep in conversation with Tommy, and asked with a smile.
"Uh... yes, a friend of his from a tech company recommended me. The guy said he was under a lot of work stress and needed to vent, so I spent an hour playing with candles and binding games with him. He still wasn’t satisfied, and threw a stack of cash, claiming he was going to stay over at my place that night and told me to use whatever skills I had on him," Susy continued talking about Jason with a happy and proud air as she introduced him to Susan.
