"Luna Katherine, you’d better watch your words," King James’s face was sullen, his tone filled with dignity.

"Your Majesty, please help me," Katherine cried, raising her voice. "Alpha Klaus forcibly took my daughter. I don’t know what he’s going to do to Gina. Gina is my only daughter, please save her!"

Bystanders whispered among themselves when they heard Katherine’s words. Just then, Alpha Robert arrived and saw Katherine on her knees, crying, so he quickly pulled her up.

"Katherine, what’s going on?" Robert’s brow furrowed, apparently unaware of his daughter’s disappearance.

"Oh, Robert," Katherine cried loudly, "Gina is gone, and a servant saw that it was Alpha Klaus who took her away, and he took her into a room. I tried to ask the king for help, but he refused to grant my request."

"How could Gina be gone?" Robert lowered his voice, wiping Katherine’s tears with his hand. "Which room is she in? I’ll go with you to find her."

"No, Robert," Katherine stubbornly said. "If Alpha Klaus hurts our daughter, we don’t have any power to deal with him. Only the king has that power."

Alpha Robert hesitated and looked at King James. "Your Majesty," he said.

"Alpha Klaus is our guest of honor, and I’m sure he wouldn’t hurt your daughter," King James’s tone was cold, and his once-gentle eyes had turned icy.

But Katherine was still not giving up, convinced that it was Alpha Klaus who had taken Gina. Now, she played the role of a mother fearing for her daughter’s safety, her heartfelt cries drawing sympathy from those around her. Some even whispered words of encouragement in her ear.

"Everybody knows that northerners are savage, what if Alpha Klaus hurts her daughter?" a noblewoman whispered.

"How could an Alpha bring a strange woman into a room for no reason?" Another voice said, "I bet he’s planning something bad, you know!"

"Your Majesty, please help this poor woman," a man’s voice pleaded.

"Please help her, Your Majesty," others echoed.

The growing clamor around him put King James in a quandary. He looked at Emily as if seeking her opinion.

Emily sneered, knowing that Katherine would not rest until she had accomplished her goal, and that she had deliberately made such a grand gesture to attract attention. She had dug a pit and waited for Katherine to jump in, and it was perfect!

"Your Majesty, since Luna Katherine claims that my husband took her daughter, let’s go and see if it’s true." Emily’s tone was calm; she had seen through Katherine’s devious methods, and since Katherine had tried to harm Emily, she was not afraid to confront her.

King James pondered for a moment, then said to Katherine, "Take us to the room you mentioned."

Soon, Katherine led King James to another floor of the hotel, and she pointed to one of the rooms, saying, "This is it."

King James motioned for a guard to open the door, only to see the guard step forward, twist the knob, then shake his head at the king to indicate that the door was locked.

"Knock it down," the king ordered.

The soldier then slammed his body against the door, and as soon as it opened, a strong scent of aromatherapy mingled with the smells of sweat and sex filled the air.

Emily wrinkled her nose as she heard the sounds of flesh meeting flesh within the room and the incessant moaning of the women.

"Oh, Gina." Katherine rushed in, her daughter’s name on her lips.

Emily halted, her eyes peering into the dimly lit room, her heart beating rapidly. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

What if Klaus is inside?

At that moment, a hand was laid on Emily’s shoulder from behind, and the next second, she heard a familiar voice.

"What are you staring at, lover?"

Emily turned her head, surprised and relieved to see Klaus.

"Are you here?"

"Why can’t I be here?" Klaus lowered his voice, his lips close to Emily’s ear, "Or do you think I’m supposed to be in there?"

"Alpha Klaus?" King James’s tone was full of confusion and incomprehension, "Why are you here?"

"I’m just passing through," Klaus shrugged, glancing curiously into the room. "What’s going on inside? Why are you all here?"

"You!" Alpha Robert looked at Klaus in shock, "You’re here, so who’s in there?"

"I’d love to know the answers, too." The corners of Klaus’s mouth curled slightly, and his green eyes flashed a hint of slyness. "Why don’t we go in and have a look?"

Katherine screams from inside the room, and as they enter, Katherine is attempting to pull a man from the bed, who is on top of Gina.

"Leave my daughter!" Katherine roars, "Who the hell are you?"

The naked man is yanked from the bed by Katherine, and when he looks up, Emily notices that the man is the same valet who had been speaking to Klaus at the banquet.

At that moment, I’m not sure who flicked the switch, but for a fleeting instant, everything in the room is illuminated in a stark white light.

"Oh, baby, don’t leave me." Gina’s voice comes from the bed, her hair a mess, her eyes glazed over, her bare upper body covered in bright red kiss marks.

"Luna Katherine, is this what you meant?" King James glares at Katherine before turning away.

"You bastard, what the hell have you done to my daughter?" Alpha Robert gives the valet a solid kick.

"Sorry, I don’t know," the manservant spits out a mouthful of blood, looking around in confusion.

"It’s obvious they were having sex," someone says. "I don’t think we should interrupt them, let them continue."

"Shut up!" Alpha Robert snarls, shooing the others out of the room. "Get out, get out!"

Katherine jumps on the bed and wraps Gina’s body in a sheet, but she’s unable to prevent someone from secretly filming the scene.

A crowd of onlookers was kicked out of the room by Alpha Robert, and the hallways erupted with shouts of curses and cries for mercy.

"Poor manservant, he won’t survive tonight," Klaus said nonchalantly.

"Don’t you want to explain anything to me?" Emily stood at one end of the hallway, her hands folded across her chest, her eyes scrutinizing Klaus.

"What is there to explain to you?" Klaus looked playfully at Emily.

"When you get close to me, I smell exactly like the one in that room." Emily said, "You’ve been to that room, haven’t you?"
