Alpha's Lost Luna Returns With His Twins-Chapter 228-The Monster’s Kiss
Kash:
"When you said the other woman was not my mate, I took her away because you said you wanted my mate," I said. "I got confused. Why would I leave someone who was not part of the deal?"
I did not loosen my grip.
"So I came back to ask you again. Do you want my chosen mate or my fated mate?"
Her expression shifted, caught between anger and interest.
"In that confusion, I had to save her," I mumbled, lowering my voice.
I noticed her lower lip curl inward as she bit it, and her eyes dropped briefly to my lips. While I spoke, she kept studying my face, swallowing slowly at the sight of me.
I noticed her fingers moving up my chest, her grip tightening as she pulled herself up to the highest point she could reach so she could look straight into my eyes without lifting her head.
Her fingers twisted into the fabric at my chest, letting me know that she was still holding onto me.
Her face moved close to mine, and her lips brushed against my mouth. I kept my expression straight, but my jaw clenched at the brief touch between us.
She pulled her face back just to watch mine for a few seconds before she leaned in again, and this time, she tried to take my lip into hers, but when I did not move or participate, I watched her jaw clench.
"Oh," she breathed, then clenched her jaw as she shoved me around.
Cold water closed over me as I fell in with her. The moment I hit the water, I pushed my arms out and tried to rise, but she circled me.
Her tail cut through the water taking sharp turns, sending waves against my body. Every time I tried to swim upward, she blocked my path.
I was not panicking, but I was worried for a few seconds. The water moved hard. Her tail moved smoothly against the current.
I kicked hard and pushed myself against the current she created. My arms cut through the water as I tried to locate her.
My eyes stayed open despite the sting. I followed the blur of her movement and waited for an opening.
She circled closer again, and this time, I knew it was my moment. I reached out and grabbed a handful of her hair. Her movement stopped suddenly.
She twisted in my grip and swung her hand toward my neck. Her nails scraped across my skin. I tightened my hold and pulled her toward me instead of letting her go.
Before I could push her away, her other hand moved to the back of my head. She pulled herself forward and pressed her lips hard against mine this time.
The water around us shifted with the force of the movement as she held me there and kept her body against mine.
My body could not react for the first few seconds. That was because the queen of the water did not want me to move.
I realized that in the water, I was helpless. This was her territory, her place, her strength. I needed to play it smart, or I would lose myself in the water with her.
I brought my hands up between us and tried to push her back. My palms pressed hard against her shoulders, but the water shifted around us and slowed my movements.
Her body was so cold that I felt as if my hands would freeze. She kept herself close to me, and the space between us did not widen, no matter how hard I tried to push her.
The strange part was that the moment she pulled her body close to me, the coldness from the water started to fade, and I felt something warm wrap around me, which was crazy because her body was not warm at all.
A soft sound reached my ears. It came from somewhere deeper in the water, like a melody.
I could not tell where it started or how long it had been there. The sound made my focus blur for a moment.
My eyes started to blur too. All I could think about was to stay close to her. My grip weakened without me meaning to.
Slowly, I forgot about the world outside the water. When I opened my eyes again, I saw how beautiful her eyes were.
Her hands stayed at the back of my head, holding me in place as her mouth met mine again.
Her lips pressed firmly against mine, moving in gentle rhythms as she sucked on both my lips. I felt her other hand slide along my side and hold onto my shirt again.
This time, I did not push her back. Instead, my hands shifted from her shoulders down to her waist in a very romantic way.
Then I grabbed her and pulled her closer, reducing the distance between us. Our mouths started to move in a beautiful sync.
I began to suck the water from her upper lip while she sucked my lower lip. Our eyes were no longer open.
We were enjoying the kiss, and our bodies tangled together. My leg brushed against her tail, and I felt her body shudder.
Then she ran her hand all over my body.
She started to sway her body around, moving me along with her like a dance. It was her way of telling me that the water welcomed us and that this was our reunion.
At that moment, I did not understand what I was doing.
All I could think, in the back of my mind, was that something was off, that I was following her rhythms, and that I should not.
Our mouths got tangled so tightly that it became difficult for us to pull apart. I raised my hand and gently touched her face.
My fingers ran through her hair, down to her jaw, and then to her neck. For a brief second, I just wanted to stay like that.
Then her tongue started to enter my mouth. Even when I had a very bad feeling that I needed to stop her, I did not.
The minute her tongue entered my mouth, I began to suck it in, going deep until I reached the very end of her tongue.
Then I slowly let her tongue go before I pushed mine into her mouth.
