The next day, Leo and Snow woke up briskly and they both made full effort to dress up formally, they were not among those who would liked to flaunt but they were going to the palace today and meet the King in official capacity, so they had to take care of the protocols.

When Lily woke up and found her parents all dressed up, she was surprised. She could not understand why they were going all formal, but before she could even ask anything, Leo picked her up and took her to get ready as well. Leo brushed her teeth and then gave her a shower, before he brought her out wrapped in a towel like a dumpling.

Lily was just looking about like a baffled child. The twins were also in the room, so after Lily, Leo took over Elena and Julian, while Snow helped Lily dress up in a light blue ball gown. The little girl said, "Why am I made to wear such a heavy dress? That too so early in the morning?"

Snow smiled and replied, "It is because we are going somewhere special and such a dress is required to enter that place. After a few hours, we can change it for you."

Lily sighed, and Leo came out of the bathroom as he said, "These two are ready as well."

After a few minutes, the family of five was ready and they all got into an extended car that was sent for them from the company. They might have a headquarters in the Angkor City, but here, they had a small office as well, after all, you need to keep an eye on things outside to handle business efficiently there.

The car drove through the roads of the capital, for some reason, Leo could see a lot of media weapons rushing towards the palace as well. The young man sighed and said, "I didn't expect that the person would have such a pull onto the media even with all this turmoil going on."

Lily caught on to something and she turned to look at her father before she asked, "Is the person we are going to see, a really important one?"

Leo smiled and poked her nose as he said, "You will know in a bit, my little goblin."

Elena in his arms giggled and with her blabbering, 'Baba, why are you lying to big sis? She really wants to know what is going on.'

Leo chuckled and didn't answer her, because his eldest was an easily jealous one. After a few minutes, when they reached the side gates of the palace, the soldiers there opened the gate without any delay. They have already been informed of the car details. The checking was done on the other side of the gate, and while it may sound like a lapse of security, but the people were always under the crosshairs of the sniper muzzles.

One mistake to comply with the instruction and it would a splatter of blood, this was why the people were always so much on toes when they came into the palace. The car crossed the side gate, and they paused by the small outpost where the car went through several checks and let go to enter the parking area.

There the family got off, just Leo, Snow, holding the twins while Lily walked between them. The rest of the family was not allowed inside the royal palace because they were not invited. Lily looked around the place with curious eyes and she would ask her parents a few questions every now and then.

The young couple would answer it all. They were being led by a steward of the Palace, and the person was shocked to see the couple having such deep knowledge. The steward has spent several decades in these corridors and knew about everything, in the literal sense, but now a couple of rich youngsters have shown up, upending his supremacy.

They soon reached a wide hall, where on a throne sat the old man dressed in a regal white suit with a long brocade cape draped on his shoulder. The old man wore a crown and held a scepter in his hands. Lily froze, Leo smiled and her, as he bowed to the King, Snow performed a courtesy bow, and Lily quickly followed.

The steward bowed his waist in a perpendicular bow and gestured for the family to walk ahead as one of the announcers spoke in a loud voice, "In the name of the King, His Majesty Augustus Aura Clover, the first, today we have gathered to witness the ennobling ceremony of the Cardinal Family, which has climbed the status of a super sigil family with its constant effort to revive the glory of the Clover Nation without any external support."

The agenda was clarified, and the ministers of the cabinet all stood in two separate queues looking at the family of five. The emotions in the room were a cocktail of emotions but with Leo and Snow holding their composure, nothing mattered to them.

Soon they reached the steps that led to the throne and the old King looked at them all with a faint smile on his face. He turned his head to look at the attendant standing next to him. The attendant nodded and took a deep breath and said, "The master of the Cardinal Family, Leo Cardinal, please step forward."

Leo nodded, and turned around to hand Elena over to Snow before he stepped over the stairs as he climbed up and soon stood before the King, the attendant pointed at the foot stool before the throne, and Leo placed his left knee on the stool to kneel with his head bowed.

The King then said while raising his scepter, "From this day forth, your family bears the supreme Sigil, the color of gold, which represents the prestige, and the reputation that you have earned by your deeds, but remember this, it only gets harder from here on."

Leo didn't say anything and just waited for the King to tap both his shoulders with the scepter.
