Almighty Father System-Chapter 410: Bestowing Privilege.

Leo and the rest of the people turned their heads to look at the sky, and they spotted a streak of flames. The bright orange was evident in the blue sky. The speaker feed from the space center at the Floating Island Base of the space elevator was also echoing with various comments regarding the situation and the descent of the aircraft.

The old King looked at the sky surrounded by various guards. While the old man was enjoying the scenery, the ministers who have attended the event in hopes of talking to Leo and seeing if he would team up with them and help their cause were dreading the whole thing. They could not understand what was wrong with the King to directly break the protocols and directly come over.

The streak grew dimmer as the aircraft slowed down and soon everyone cheered as it landed on the ground. Everyone erupted in cheers, and congratulated Leo and Snow. The two people thanked them all and just then one of the Minister’s said, "Your Majesty, how about you grant Master Cardinal and his family the highest grade of sigil? He and the rest of the people at the Cardinal Group have been doing nothing but helping the under privileged and also helped raise the status of the Clover Nation on an international level."

The people who were trying to warm up to Leo nodded forcefully and King Augustus said, "Well, tomorrow seems to be free, how about I invite the Cardinal Family to the Palace and hold a facilitation ceremony? What do you say, Minister Ding?"

The people fell silent, they had not expected the King to get ready to the proposition so quickly. After a few moments, when none could bring themselves to reply, the Old King said, "Then it is decided, Mister Cardinal, I would be expecting you and your wife to grace the Royal Palace with your presence in the morning, after the facilitation we can have a breakfast together."

Leo caught the queue and nodded as he said, "Yes, Your Majesty, it would be my honor to dine with you."

King Avalon nodded and then he turned around to leave the place. His decision had caused the ministers to panic, because they were already facing a lot of obstacles from the rest of the Sigil Families, if Cardinal Family gained the supreme Sigil, then it would be even harder for them to succeed in their goals. After all, the influence that the Cardinal Family had at the moment could even make the populace get down on the streets and pick up weapons.

He had done that much charity work and if that were to happen, these people would be even further from their goals. Or worse, what If Leo entered the political lobby? They would lose power and it would be all for nothing.

The event came to an end, and the people all left after having some symbolic bites at the hotel nearby, then Leo and Snow entered their suite and Snow asked, "The King showed up."

Leo smiled and said, "Yes, I know."

Snow continued, "He promised to give you the supreme Sigil. Can you believe that?"

Leo nodded and replied, "I can, why can you not believe it?"

Snow looked at him, rolled her eyes and said, "It is not that I don’t believe him, but it is simply too much. There is no free lunch in the world and the price we have to pay is twice the piece we are given. What do you think he will ask us for?"

Leo replied calmly, "The way he looked at the ministers and shook them with his sudden announcements, it is for sure that the political mess is growing beyond what he can control on his own. I wonder if he would as me about this."

Snow sighed as she sat down on the bed, and Leo crouched down to help her take off her heals, he said, "Don’t worry too much, we will handle this when it comes to pass."

Snow nodded and replied, "Well, indeed, nothing else that we can do."

While the two were contemplating about what price they would have to pay, the media was exploding. The news that the Cardinal Family was going to be facilitated with the Supreme Sigil had overshadowed the arrival of the moon samples.

The researchers were having a mixed feeling on this regard, but soon they heard that the King has written them all comendation letters to recognize their effort and soon the news was flashing through countless Television screens in the country.

In the evening, Leo picked us Lily from the school with Zeenat beside the young lady, and the latter said, "Sir, you were correct, some people did try to approach the Young Miss, but they have all been handled."

Leo raised his brows as he fastened the seat belts around Lily, "What do you mean they have been handled?"

Zeenat shook her head and replied, "I only intimidated them and they all went away. None of them could get a chance to talk to Young Miss, and so I said they have been handled."

Leo sighed in relief and said, "I thought you slayed them."

Zeenat opened her eyes wide, and Kyle started laughing, he said, "Zee, you have regained the quality to react shocked."

Zeenat calmed down and rolled her eyes and then Leo looked at Lily as he said, "I have talked to the principal, you can miss school tomorrow."

Lily was surprised and asked, "Why?"

Leo replied, "That is a surprise."

Lily pestered him about things, and just then Leo asked, "How was your school?"

Lily suddenly stopped speaking and then she said, "I charmed them all."

She raised her chin a little and Leo turned to look at her rather seriously and asked, "What did you do?"

Lily shrugged and said, "I recounted the multipication tables at the podium and those dumb capital kids were shocked. Privilege really makes one dumb, Baba."

Leo sighed and said, "Well, I am glad that you are not the same, because you will realize tomorrow what privilege is."
