Almighty Father System-Chapter 368: Daddy Teach Them How To Be Strong. (2)
Leo had just walked out of the conference room when the Colonel, whose back was covered in cold sweat picked up his phone and made a call to the reserve unit, and said, "Barton, gather at the gates, you have to hold a civilian back, don’t use firearms and if he does not comply, rough him up."
The call was disconnected and then he called another person and his attitude had turned very servile.
...
Meanwhile, Leo was walking through the corridors of the building with Lily in his arms and Lieutenant Jeager was following them steadily. He wasn’t sure how and why Leo walked out of the room so quickly but he could tell that this man didn’t fear them. This was the reason why he abstained from questioning the man.
Just then Lieutenant Jeager sensed an unfamiliar movement in the surroundings, many people were rushing through the building and heading to the main gates. A bad premonition dawned in his gut, and he gestured for his adjutant to stand back. The latter was surprised and looked at Jeager, but just when he was about to ask the man why they were stopping, they heard a loud voice from outside the building.
"Mister, stand back, you are not allowed to leave."
Jeager clicked his tongue and said, "Its Captain Barton. Things just got worse." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
They hurried to catch up and check the situation. Only to find Leo standing before a whole unit of soldiers. They all wore the training attire but they all oozed ferocity.
Leo looked at them calmly and asked, "So, what is this about? Why am I not allowed to leave? Am I a criminal?"
The person incharge of the military unit said arrogantly, "I am not aware if you are a criminal but you and your people are not allowed to leave the compound until my superiors notify me. For your sake, I would hope that you cooperate with us."
Leo raised his brow and asked, "Are you threatening me?"
Captain Barton looked at Leo with surprise, this was the first time he had come across a civilian who dared to question him. In the Clover Nation, the status of the Military was higher than the Civilian Units, just like any other nation but the Clover Nation Army had always been fighting and so they were battle hardened. They trained with various international forces.
So, the civilians were always intimidated by the officers of the forces and treated them with respect, however, Leo didn’t seem to care at all. He was unbothered even when he was standing in a military compound surrounded by special forces unit.
Captain Barton said, "I would be lowering my attitude if I were you. We have been told to hold you back and we don’t wish to harm you, so please don’t make it difficult for us."
Leo took a step ahead and Captain Barton did the same thing. They walked till they were both in close proximity. The two were just two meters away, when Barton said something that would become the biggest lesson of his life.
He said calmly, "Listen dude, my brothers and I could pack you into a small suitcase with all your bones screaming for mercy, but for the sake of decorum we are insisting that you hold back and recognize your situation. If not for yourself, then think about this child. What would she do if something happened to you?"
Leo stared at him rather indifferently and just when he was about to say something, Lily asked, "Uncle, are you very strong?"
Barton was surprised by the sweet voice, and then he looked at Lily and said, "Yes, I am very strong, why don’t you ask your father to go back inside and sit down?"
Lily nodded and turned to look at Leo with a smile and said, "Baba, can you drop me over their to Sister Zee?"
Leo looked at the Officer and Captain Barton said, "Yes, you should send your daughter back home while you stay here."
Leo went through the crowd of military officers and then dropped Lily over to Zeenat and the soldiers heard the little girl say, "Baba, could you teach them how to be strong?"
Leo was surprised and heard, ’Ping: Host, your daughter is angry because these men are underestimating you and they are bullying you. So, she wants you to fight these men and beat them up. Reward: Acceleration Card, can accelerate the creation of any project by five times.’
Leo was surprised by this reward and then he nodded before he turned to look at Captain Barton who had a smug on his face. He said, "I wonder if I don’t follow you inside, what could you and all the men here would do to me?"
Captain Barton frowned, he saw Leo walking back through the same gap between the crowd and said, "I have no patience to deal with you. Since you want to know what I can do, let me show you. James, drag him back inside."
As soon as his words fell, the man from the side reached out and grabbed the collar of Leo’s shirt. Just as his hand grabbed the fabric, Leo reached out and grabbed James by his wrist.
Leo stood on his spot but James felt a sharp pain rushing through his arm and he couldn’t help but scream. The people were all stunned and they took a couple of steps back.
Leo said, "Now, I want you to see what I will do to those who attack me and intimidate my daughter."
He chopped his hand against James’s neck and caused the screaming giant to faint and fall to the ground. Leo looked at the stunned Barton and asked, "Is that all?"
His taunt triggered the soldiers and Barton yelled, "Take him down!"
Leo, didn’t care, he began to fight back and his movements were simply shocking for the special forces people. Leo used boxing, grappling, kicks and mixed martial arts. He didn’t take more than a few seconds in handling each of the soldiers, and he was a perpetual machine and his speed was unstoppable.
After five minutes, Leo stood before Barton and reached out to grab the man from his neck, and raised him high from the ground before he asked, "What do you want to do now?"
Suddenly, Leo heard a clicking sound. He turned to look at the side and found a soldier aiming a gun at him. Not only that, he had also loaded it and was ready to squeeze the trigger.
Leo’s gaze fell upon the soldier and he walked over to the soldier while holding the squirming Barton in his hand. The soldier said, "Stop! Release the Captain or I will shoot!"
Leo stood five meters away from the soldier and said, "Are you telling me the truth? Will you really shoot me?"
The man nodded and his breathing calmed down. Then Leo flung the captain directly toward the soldier and after the two people clashed, Leo vanished from his spot. He moved quickly and approached the armed soldier to kick away the weapon beside him.
More people charged and they were all beaten up. None of the people had any idea what they could do to stop Leo. One thing they had to defend was their pride as special forces operatives, and the army.
Secondly they had to ensure that Leo is not killed, a few minor injuries could be overlooked in the scuffle, but no major injury shall be dealt with. However, Leo was unharmed, the special forces soldiers could not even lay a scratch on his body.
...
While Leo was fighting, Lieutenant Jeager headed to the top floor of the building, where the highest ranking officer in the military office was posted. Each cantonment was headed by a general level officer and at this moment, the person here was an old General, called Balaji Rao.
Balaji Rao was a war god in the north of Clover Nation, none of the people dared to overlook his words, and he commanded the respect that even made the Field Marshall to treat him as equal.
Lieutenant Jeager knocked on the door and the old voice said, "Come in."
The Lieutenant pushed the door open as he said, "Sir, Colonel Harding instated Captain Barton to arrest a Civilian, Leo Cardinal, the man wanted to leave, but they tried to force him and now it has erupted in complete brawl."
He explained the entire situation and the old General stood up calmly. He said, "Harding, that dimwit is good only to use his trigger. Come, show me what is going on, I have to meet this guy to stop him. He has done nothing but good deed for our military, yet our own people are treating him like this."
That said, the old man walked out of the office with Jeager following him with hurried pace. He knew that even now, the old man has not understood the complete intensity of the beat down outside.
