Leo finished the meeting on a high note and then he said, "I am going to take off, I hope you all enjoy your night. Do send your legal teams to sign the agreement with the company."

The people nodded and they all shook hands before Leo left the hotel. In the end, Harley Aries asked, "So, was I wrong?"

The people shook their heads and Raymond Saig replied, "No, you weren't. However, you still underestimated him a lot. For a second when I was talking there, I thought he was going to kill me. So, for that, you are guilty."

Harley sighed and said, "Fine, you miser, I will cover the bill."

Leo drove back home with Kyle, and as soon as he stepped inside the house, he saw Lily sitting on the couch with her hands crossed before her chest and she was looking at him with a completely unimpressed expression. The young man was shocked, he almost did a quick recall to restore his physique to the detox stage in fear.

He took a deep breath and asked, "Lily, what happened dear?"

Lily raised her brow and said, "Look at the time and tell me what is going on?"

Leo turned to look at the clock and found that it was seven o'clock in the evening. He said, "It is evening."

Lily furrowed her brows and said, "Yes, it is evening, and since you know about that, why are you coming home just now? Don't you know that your wife is now pregnant? Is this the time that a good husband should come back knowing that your wife is pregnant?"

Leo gulped and almost knelt on the ground to seek apology. He felt as if it wasn't his daughter but his mother talking to him at the moment. He said, "I apologize, the meeting lasted for a little longer than I expected it to be."

Lily glared at him and said, "This is not an excuse, work is important, but it is not above family. You are working, good, but please remember who you are working for in the end."

Leo nodded calmly and said, "Yes."

He didn't know when, but when the girl was talking, his hands had locked up before his waist as if a school student standing in front of the class teacher. Lily went on and on to give Leo a dress down, and in the end she said, "I remember that I told you not to drink too much, but no, look at you, coming back home stinking awful. Do I hold not status in the family? Are my words useless for you?"

The young man shook his head like a rattle and then he bowed his head as he replied, "No, no, I apologize. Your standing in the family is supreme. Your words are supreme. I will never repeat the same mistake again."

Lily shook her head and said, "I am very disappointed in your behavior this time, Baba. Please be mindful of what you do in the future."

Leo nodded hurriedly, and just when he was about to look for the rest of the people he heard three people laughing loudly as they watched from behind the kitchen door. The young man looked at them with his gaze brimming with grievance.

He looked at Lily and said, "Are they allowed to make fun of me like this?"

Lily turned to look at the culprits and said, "Baba, you go and change your clothes. Please take a shower also. I will handle these naughty people. How can they laugh at you? You made a mistake and you apologized. I will handle them."

The young man nodded and then he left the living room. He had no idea what Lily did with the ladies but when he came back for dinner, they were all solemn. He smirked as he sat down on the dining table and soon the dinner was served.

Leo took a deep breath and said, "So, after everything, the highlight of the day is the fact that we have gotten good deals with the members of the Sigil Council. It will give us some much needed influence in the country."

Snow nodded and said, "That's a good thing. Gaining influence will keep the two parties cautious before they make any move on us."

Leo replied with a thoughtful expression, "I have given the representatives of the Saig and the Ibex families a single condition in return of the cooperation. The Luger family, they should suffer."

The people nodded calmly, and Lily said, "We have a new rule, no business talks at dining table."

Leo said, "Yes."

Then he picked up a morsel and fed it to Lily. After a few minutes, when the dinner was finished, he asked, "Snow, do you want a foot massage?"

Snow smiled, she knew that he was carrying for her, but she said, "No, I don't need a massage at the moment. In the future, when the feet start swelling, then you can give me all the massage that you want."

Leo smiled and nodded before he turned around to go to bed. The ladies liked to sit together and chat for a bit, but Leo wished to turn in to sleep. He also wanted to spend sometime in the virtual training space because it had been a few days, and he felt that he was lagging in his skills. Engaging with the Sigil Council, he wanted to have be careful and make sure that his skills are still sharp.

In the next morning, Leo came out of his room and found Lily waiting for him. He also spotted Snow sitting on the couch sipping on some tea, and he asked, "What happened? Why are you up so early?"

Snow replied, "I felt nauseous when I woke up."

Leo frowned and asked, "Ummm, what triggered it?"

Snow smiled bitterly and replied, "I ate some white chocolate last night. That probably triggered my reaction."

Leo frowned and said, "Shall we visit the gynae once again? I would also like to hear their opinions."

Snow shook her head and replied, "No, I have been scheduled for two weeks later. Unless it is an emergency. Such things happen, don't worry, take this little goblin with you and get going. You'll get late otherwise."

Leo smiled and then took Lily with him for the run. The two of them didn't talk much, and Leo watched Lily following Zeenat and her movements. He smiled as he shook his head. After the daily workout, the two of them got ready and headed to handle their own things.

While the Cardinal Family was busy, Socrate Primal was sitting in his office and across him sat a young man who bore a significant resemblance to himself. Socrates asked, "What do you want from me after all these years? Don't even think about getting a way back in the will. You signed the waiver long ago."

The young man sneered and replied, "You take yourself a bit too seriously and that's why you are not getting anywhere. I am here to tell you something out of goodwill. The Sigil Council of the nation has decided to pull on all the sanctions they can against the Luger family."

Socrates frowned but then he said, "Why are you telling this to me?"

The young man replied calmly, "I am telling you all this so that when the life escapes the body of that old whore, you would be able to feel the same helplessness like I did when you killed my mother. I wish for you to see the love of your life die before your eyes, just like your bastard son died."

Socrates clenched his fist and glared at the man. Just when he wanted to say something, the young man said, "I am aware that even if you cannot say anything unless the leash around your neck is loosened. Hahaha, I am glad that you are suffering like this, old bastard. Karma is a great thing."

After saying that, he stood up and walked out of the office. As the young man came out of the office he met Stellar, and was surprised before he asked, "Why are you here?"

Stellar smiled and replied, "Brother Artem, I should be asking you the same thing. I only came here to find out if the news of a financial embezzlement in the hospital ran by the Tyrant Group is true or not."

Artem was surprised and asked, "What do you mean?"

Stellar suddenly smirked and said, "How about we talk outside this place? Just let me get a quotation from the old man. I love to see him suffer like this."

Artem chuckled and said, "Fine, I will meet you outside."

In front of the building, Artem and Stellar were standing beside their cars, and the lady said, "Are you sure that you want in on this war? Socrates is unforgiving and his father is even more so."

Artem chuckled and replied, "Had I cared about them, I wouldn't be here. Tell me, how can I get back at them?"

Stellar smiled and said, "Follow me, let's go meet with someone who is gearing up against them."
