Almighty Father System-Chapter 291: Intimidation.

Leo disconnected the call, and then stood up from his chair before walking out of the office, and said, "June, I am off."

June was surprised, but looking at how serious Leo looked, she just nodded. The young man looked at Kyle who was standing on the side, and replied, "Call over all the people in reserve and arm them. We are going out."

Kyle was shocked by the order but he nodded quickly and called for the lodging where a back up team was staying. Meanwhile Leo moved to the office next to him, and as soon as he got inside, he told her the entire thing. After a few minutes, Snow nodded and said, "Be careful, and just don't kill them."

Leo nodded and said, "I know this much."

Then he walked over to give her a kiss and said, "How about you pick up Lily and then go home early? Don't stress yourself in the early period."

Snow nodded with a smile and agreed to his request. Leo might not show it, but he was feeling that the responsibilities on his shoulders have just multiplied by a hundred fold. Lily was a child who was sensible and always acted according to the situation. She was an angel. As for the child inside Snow, it was now in a very fragile state. Let alone the world even Snow herself could cause great mishap toward it if she was not careful.

Leo walked out of the office and checked his phone, Harley has sent him the location where the meeting was setup. He got in the driver's seat and Kyle asked, "Sir, where are we going?"

Leo replied candidly, "The families who have been granted a Sigil in the past have created a somewhat unrecognized gathering called the Sigil Council and they want me to join them. I have turned them down in the past and only entered the cooperative equation with Harley Aries. However, the rest of the people are thinking about strong arming me by this gathering. I am just going over to give them a piece of my mind and tell them to back off or I will bury their entire clans alive."

Kyle was stunned for a second but then he smiled gently. He was used to Leo going in battle mode as soon as someone dared to look at his family. As they were driving, Leo asked, "What about the servant beside Harley that I brought back to be disciplined?"

Kyle chuckled and said, "You will be surprised by how tamed that guy has become."

Leo asked, "What did you do?"

He was curious to find out what method have these guys used to tame that man. Kyle replied, "Nothing much, he was just a but too high on his horse, so we sent him to the battle fields of the Ivory nation for one week. The gore and cruel world there made him realize that he was a green house plant. As for the final stroke, we left him in the Dead Sea Desert to fend for himself with a bottle of water.

Lastly, I gave him a reminder that if he ever dared to step out of the line, he would be thrown places that were ten times more hellish than these. He agreed to behave, and we have been monitoring him. He is a new leaf now."

Leo raised his brow and smirked, "Well, I did expect you all to have such cruelty but this is a bit too high. Anyway, good going. Send that man back after he finishes his training."

Kyle nodded and replied, "Yes, Sir. One more week."

After an hour, Leo reached the location sent by Harley, he noticed a dozen high end sedans and cruiser cars in the parking lot, all accompanied by two luxury SUVs and a few men in casual clothings moving around the place scrutinizing everything.

Leo's guard squad has also arrived and the young man got down from his vehicle. The people walking around all turned to look at him, and then reported something on their comms. Kyle sighed and said, "They surely know how to put up a facade. All green horns with high end equipment."

Leo replied, "Do you guys lack equipment?"

Kyle shook his head and replied, "No, but we still trust our skills better, Sir. If we flex the equipment, it makes the people notice us easily."

Leo agreed and then he made his way toward the entrance of the restaurant. A few guards standing on the entrance stepped up and raised their hands, "Stop! The venue is reserved for a private event."

Leo stopped and then asked, "Did your family not teach you how to recognize the Sigils?"

Then he pointed at a badge pinned to his lapel, and said, "I am Leo Cardinal, move."

The guard shook his head and replied, "I don't believe you…."

He wanted to speak further and ask for Identification. This was a trap set up by the men inside the private room. They wanted to show Leo that he was just an upstart who walked into a big circle. They wanted him to lose control and put up a fight so that the guards could control him.

However, all they could see through the CCTV was a flicker and the next moment, Leo had a gun placed inside the guards mouth. Yes, the barrel was inside the mouth of the guard. Leo pulled back the hammer and asked, "What do you say now?"

The guards in the surroundings were shocked, they had not expected such aggression from Leo. The guard was stunned and thinking that Leo was bluffing, he glared at him and raised his hand to signal his men, but before the rest of them could do anything, they saw Leo smile and then he decisively pulled the trigger.

When facing death, adrenaline rushes through the body and it creates an illusion of the time slowing down. All the guards on the opposite camp saw the hammer move through the void and then collide with the back of the gun. The seemingly clicking sound from the collision was akin to an explosion in their minds.

However, the expected blood splatter didn't come. They all looked at Leo, who was still smiling, and pulled the gun out. Then they watched him pull out a magazine from inside his coat and load it. All this was done with extremely casual and a leisurely style. Then Leo placed the gun back inside the guard's mouth and asked, "So, would you like to bet if I would pull the trigger this time or not?"

At this moment, a sigh sounded from the entrance of the restaurant, "Master Cardinal, please spare the poor guy."

Leo tilted his head and found Harley Aries standing there. He smiled and asked, "You came to spoil the fun I was having, bad timing."

Harley smiled and said, "Come in, they are waiting for you."

Leo took the gun out and wiped the barrel on the guards shoulder as he said, "Believe me, I would have shot you just now."

His tone was calm, but the indifferent eyes caused the guard to shiver, and he almost pissed himself. Leo turned to look at Kyle and said, "Stay here."

Kyle nodded and then he waved his hands for the entire guard squad to scatter as Leo walked over to Harley and the two of them shook hands.

The latter asked, "To think that you would really pull the trigger, it was scary."

Leo smiled and replied, "Wasn't that the intention? They think they can ride my head by using their pawns. I don't even fear the kings let alone these petty foot soldiers."

Harley Aries knew that Leo was not addressing him, but for some reason he couldn't help but imagine himself as a foot soldier. Well, he might be the young leader and his family was gradually transitioning the leadership from his father to him, but it was still an ongoing process and he often saw himself as a lowly pawn.

While Harley was thinking about these things, they reached the private room reserved by the council representatives. Harley pushed the door and entered the room with Leo following behind him. The latter looked at the table and found that there were thirteen chairs around a big table and eleven people were sitting at the moment.

There were four women among the eleven people, and Harley said, "Master Cardinal, have a seat."

Leo nodded to him and sat down on the chair, as he asked, "To what do I the pleasure of the Sigil Council young leaders coming over to seek me?"

One man, who was smoking a cigar said, "I am Raymond Seig, the purpose of this meeting is to ask you to join the council."

Leo looked at the man and said, "Allow me to be blunt, I have already said that I will not share the merit of my deeds with the council. I have a goal, and before that, I will not stop."

A lady asked softly, "What if we are bent on stopping you?"

Leo looked at her, and his eyes turned cold, as he said, "Then I will have no other option but to put you in the ground, alive."

Another man slapped the table and shouted, "Who the fuck do you think you are? Remember your place."

Leo snapped to look back at the man and he slapped the table as well, as he said calmly, "If you raised your voice again, you will never speak again."

Before the man could say anything, they all saw a cluster of cracks on the stone table, spreading where Leo had hit the table. They all fell silent and realized that Leo wasn't simple.
