Almighty Father System-Chapter 166: Lily In Hospital.

Leo felt very guilt ridden and he spent the night working on the air-dry clay version of the Heather & Daisy amulet. Snow didn't stop him, she knew that he had the reason to be anxious. He came back inside the room during the early wee-hours and hugged Snow to sleep.

When he fell asleep, Snow opened her eyes, and sighed before she closed them back again and fell asleep. She was worried that he might do something bad to get rid of the guilt, and that would harm him even more, at least, at this moment, he was simply trying to overcome the guilt.

The next morning, it was a weekend, and Leo went out to run with Lily, and he noticed that Lily was able to do at least half a lap more than she used to do in the past, he smiled and picked her up in his arms as he said, "Love, you have gotten so much stronger."

Lily smiled with sweat covering her face and she said, "Hehe, is it not what Baba taught me? We should work harder and get stronger."

Leo nodded and then they dashed back home at full speed. The young man took a shower before he entered the kitchen and spotted Clara Rouge standing inside chopping a few vegetables. He said, "Miss Rouge, you don't have to cook breakfast on weekends, I will do it."

Clara had finished her training with the butler teachers, and she bowed slightly as she stepped aside for Leo to take command. The young man cooked and Clara was surprised to see his skills. After he finished cooking two dishes, he plated them and took them outside as he called, "Lily, come have breakfast."

Lily came out of her room with a white flower in her arms and said, "Baba, Lily wants to visit aunty."

Leo wanted to say that it was a bad idea, after all, hospitals were filled with more bacteria than their homes. The system said, 'Ping: Host, you need to let your daughter grow, be it in terms of physique or psyche. Take her to visit Fragrance and you will be rewarded with seventy percent shares of Evergreen Hospital network.'

Leo sucked in a deep breath and said, "Yes, my darling, Baba will go along with you. First, you finish your food."

Lily nodded and sat down on the table, Anastasia and Snow came in one after the other to the table and they were both discussing business affairs. Leo suddenly said, "If you have any medical requirements for the charitable work, I will solve it by noon."

The two ladies nodded, and Snow asked, "Shall we go to watch a movie after we have visited Fragrance for the day?"

Leo nodded and replied, "Yes, we shall go."

Snow said, "Good, I will book the tickets in advance."

Lily looked at the two of them, and said, "I will go too."

Snow nodded and replied, "Yes, you can go, my love. Why would we go without you?"

Lily then looked toward Anastasia and asked, "Grandma will go too."

Anastasia was surprised and said, "I have never been to a movie, no, I cannot go."

Snow almost stifled a laughter and Leo said, "Princess Cardinal has spoken, Lady Marlin, you would be causing her great disrespect."

Lily raised her head higher and said, "I shall not be denied."

The elders chuckled and they agreed to go out together, and Anastasia would join them with Clara and Symphony. After a few minutes, the young man took Lily to her room, and they changed into a nice white dress, and she had Leo wear a white linen shirt as well.

As they were going out of the house, Snow brought over the amulet Leo made last night, and said, "Are you going to forget this at home?"

Leo looked at the small box and asked, "What would I do without you?"

Lily pouted looking at them and said, "We are getting late."

Leo chuckled, he kissed Snow's lips gently as he picked up the little one in his arms. Lily stuck her tongue out to Snow, who reciprocated the gesture. Initially she wanted to go with them to the hospital but she had to discuss a few things regarding the charity fund with her mother and would join the two later.

The car drove through the traffic, and came to the hospital quickly. Leo carried Lily in his arms, who suddenly said, "Baba, can we get flowers for Aunty? Ma said that we should not go empty handed to visit people in the hospital."

Leo looked at the flower stall in the corner and walked over, he saw an old lady bending down to tend to the flowers and asked, "Grandma, how do you sell these flowers?"

The old lady raised her head and found Leo and Lily. She smiled and said, "What a charming pair of father and daughter you are. Well, tell me which one of them do you like?"

Lily smiled brightly and replied, "All of them."

Leo chuckled as he pinched her nose and said, "Grandma we will take them all."

The old lady was stunned, and she only woke up when Leo paid her the amount in full and then asked Zeenat and Kyle to gather a few nurses to deliver the stalks of flowers to Fragrance, while the rest of them could be given to other patients in Lily's name. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm

Lily loved the idea and her sparkling eyes had turned into a crescent moon. She sang, "Little birdie fly higher, daddy will buy you a golden tower.."

Leo chuckled at her antics, and the hospital staff had smiles on their faces as well, as they had not seen such a generous child, and the flowers added a little dash of color in the entire hospital.

After they boarded the elevator, Leo reached the ward, and knocked on the door. A fragile voice sounded from the inside, "Come in"

Leo pushed the door open and he walked inside with Lily in his arms. He saw Fragrance sitting on the bed looking at the flowers all around her and her eyes were filled with confusion, looking at Lily she exclaimed, "Oh my, I didn't expect to meet such a pretty angel today. Lily, did you come to bless aunty?"

The little girl smiled and Leo placed her on the bed and said, "Don't be naughty, Aunty is still hurt."

He then asked Fragrance about how she is feeling and the lady replied, "I am better, the medicine is keeping the pain at bay, as long as I don't make any sudden movements, it is not but a constant sting."

Lily looked at Fragrance silently and said, "Aunty, you are so strong. Had it been Lily in your place, I would have cried a lot."

Fragrance chuckled and said, "I also cried a lot my darling. It hurt a lot, but your Baba helped me to be strong."

Lily smiled brighter and said, "I told him I am proud that he helped you."

Fragrance smiled and patted Lily's head and after some small talk, Lily asked, "Aunty, your tattoo is so nice. Can I have a similar one too?"

Fragrance shook her head and said, "My dear, we get tattoos to remember something special. Everyone has a different special memory and so we should get tattoos but different ones."

Lily thought for a bit and said, "I see, I know what I will get."

Fragrance asked, "What is it?"

She was curious as to how the brain of this toddler worked, even Leo was curious about this.

Lily said, "When Baba called my name for the first time, it was done when the cherry blossom fell for the first time. That day I blew on the petal of a flower I picked up and wished for Baba to speak to me. I will get a cherry blossom flower on my forearm."

Fragrance felt a sting in her eye and she forced herself to calm down, when the door was knocked and the nurse from last night came inside. She looked at Leo and froze, before she found Lily sitting on the bed looking at her, and the little girl asked, "Nurse aunty, are we too loud?"

She had been to the hospital many times to get medicine for Leo, and Snow always told her to be very quiet so as to not disturb the other patients.

The nurse melted away and shook her head, "Oh, no, not at all. You are just fine, I came in to change your aunties bandages."

Lily smiled and said, "We will wait outside."

She carefully hopped off the bed and then skipped towards the door, before she turned to look at Leo, who sighed and said, "Little goblin, go and wait, I am coming. I need to give aunty something."

Lily giggled and left the room looking for Zeenat to play with.

Leo turned to Fragrance and then took out the small box with the Heather & Daisy amulet, as he said, "Lily and Snow both wear these, and I believe that this amulet protects them from the negative energy so I made one for you as well."

Fragrance smiled, and then Leo asked, "Do you trust me?"

The young lady was surprised but she nodded, and then the young man took out a small ointment tube. He passed it to her, and said, "This is an experimental drug that was developed by the Utopia Research Institute. The human trials are still on, and it shows good results. It can help you with dissolving the scars."

Fragrance was surprised and Leo nodded, before the young lady took the tube and said, "I will try it."

The nurse was shocked to see this, but the hospital director had personally briefed her that Leo and his family were his family ancestors, so she also agreed to go along with it.
