After work, start to speedrun the other world-Chapter 342 - 124: Partner, You Can Actually Transform into Human Form!
On the desolate island.
Thunder, like a dragon, moved through the dense dark clouds, and the island below, as well as the sea, quaked, sending wave after wave of intense tremors, creating waves that seemed poised to drown the world.
"Boom!" Sol swung his thunder-carrying broadsword, clashing head-on with the approaching Ahtal, while his other hand, tightly gripping a sword, parried an attack from Miss Black Blade.
"Ahtal, don’t hold back!" Sol’s hearty laughter overpowered the thunder, his waist suddenly exerted power, transmitting it to his tightly gripped swords, forcefully flinging Ahtal and Miss Black Blade away.
He then took the opportunity to drive his swords into the ground. Purple thunder followed the blades down into the earth, spread, and submerged the entire island.
As the strongest human, he hadn’t mastered an almost unsolvable ability but continually refined his magic power of the thunder attribute, developing as many applications for it as possible.
Until he could artificially create stars.
Sol pulled the swords out of the earth, and the desolate island he stood on shook tremendously; following the pull of the thunder’s power, it was forcibly lifted, condensing into several stars shining with the light of thunder.
The stars circled, gathering behind him.
"He’s almost dead, and yet he can still wield such scale of power." The Tiger King sat cross-legged midair, watching the small island being forcibly lifted by the thunder’s power and condensed into mini-stars, wondering if Sol hadn’t truly been poisoned.
Theoretically, the fact that Sol could still move his body was already an incredible testament to his willpower. Yet, in his dying state, he could still exert power beyond human limits.
"Perhaps it’s the last ember before death." Koil shook his head, his white hair dancing in the wind with a gaze as cold as ice, void of emotion.
The Tiger King shrugged in response, closely observing the battlefield’s movements, planning to intervene the moment Ahtal was in danger.
However.
"Since you’re asking me to kill, don’t resist so fiercely." Xi Mu flipped his body, standing over the churning sea, looking towards the six meteors behind Sol, and stretching his hand toward the sky.
Surging black flames gathered into a dark sun, the spread of its high temperature instantly evaporating the seawater into white mist that obscured the view.
But faintly visible through the mist submerging the sea, the black sun and the flashing meteors collided violently.
"Boom!" The explosive impact shredded the mist, revealing the true appearance of the battlefield. The sea had a giant hole blasted through it, and the spreading impact formed a depressed crater on the water’s surface, thinning the surrounding air to a suffocating level.
Moments later, an immense amount of seawater surged back, filling the crater, and the thinned air reversed, creating a powerful hurricane.
Yet soon, another collision occurred.
"Hahaha!" Xi Mu let out a hearty laugh, black flames leaking between his teeth. His dark silhouette reflected Sol managing another meteor, charging at him.
Without hesitation, he spat out another black sun.
And the charging Sol did not slow down. A meteor behind him suddenly accelerated, aiming for Ahtal’s Dragon Breath.
"Boom!" The sea’s freshly healed scars were torn apart again, the spreading impact mixed with black flames and thunder, vaporizing immense amounts of seawater and instantly killing or boiling the deep-sea fish and shrimp before they could react.
"Ahtal has already surpassed human limits, hasn’t he?" The Tiger King, blown backward, looked towards the distant battle and couldn’t help but marvel.
The scene he saw was like a battle between gods and demons, the sky covered by dark clouds flashing with lightning, with endless white fog spreading and deafening booms numbing the senses. Vaguely, figures moved through the fog, engaging in a battle beyond human limits, where any random collision could shake the sea.
Such a scale of battle is beyond what humans could achieve.
"It’s not surprising Ahtal possesses such level of power." Koil answered emotionlessly, flying backward rapidly with the Tiger King, avoiding the impacts of Ahtal and Sol’s battle, until they reached the seas and realized the situation was more severe than anticipated.
The sea waves caused by the battle had flooded many coastal areas, with many people fleeing to higher grounds.
"God of Sea, please calm your wrath."
On the hill, a nun knelt with her hands together, followed by a large number of followers, all praying to the high heavens’ God of Sea, hoping he would calm his fury and not raise waves to submerge the land anymore.
She then received a bewildered response from the God of Sea.
The coastal flooding wasn’t caused by the God of Sea; he had no idea what was going on.
This was not his responsibility to bear.
However, after investigating, the God of Sea finally understood the situation and relayed the information to the praying nun.
"The tsunami wasn’t caused by a god." The nun stopped her prayers, stood up, and explained to the believers, "It was caused by powerful beings battling nearby... a tsunami."
"That’s truly a terrifying battle." Not far away, a traveling bard sighed gently, strumming his lyre lightly before asking the question everyone cared about, "Did the God of Sea say who caused the tsunami?"
"It was Ahtal and Sol." The nun uttered two well-known names, stunning everyone present.
"Aren’t Ahtal and Sol friends?" The traveling bard asked in confusion, "Why would they be fighting?"
"..." The nun shook her head; she didn’t know why Ahtal and Sol would fight either, as the God of Sea hadn’t divulged any secrets to her.
