After Going Viral on a Dating Show, I'm Pampered by All-Chapter 333: The Marriage Alliance between the Fang Family and the Sang Family
Chapter 333: Chapter 333: The Marriage Alliance between the Fang Family and the Sang Family
Sang Siyang stood by the car door and didn’t just get in by himself; instead, he stood by the passenger side and opened the door to wait until Fang Nianzhi walked over.
"Get in," he said.
"Okay, thank you." Fang Nianzhi bent down and got in, expertly fastening her seatbelt.
Sang Siyang didn’t talk to her anymore but turned on the navigation to enter the Fang Family’s villa location. It was the same route he took when he went to pick her up before she visited their family, so he was quite familiar with the road.
The car soon arrived at the Fang Family’s villa, and as they walked in, they saw Mr. and Mrs. Fang sitting on the sofa watching a drama with earnest attention.
"Mom and Dad, I’ve brought the Sang Family’s Fourth Young Master over," Fang Nianzhi said as she jogged over to sit on the sofa.
Sang Siyang stood next to them with a faint smile on his face, "Uncle, Auntie."
"Is it Siyang? Come, come sit down. How did your talk go with our Nianzhi today?" Mrs. Fang smiled warmly.
She liked everything about this well-rounded young man in front of her.
At last, her precious daughter had made something of herself!
"Pretty good, we hit it off. Mom and Dad, if you have no objections, Yangyang and I will go get our marriage certificate."
Fang Nianzhi watched her usually fierce mother talk in such a gentle voice, feeling uncomfortable all around.
It was surprising how the usually tough tiger mom could act so friendly in front of her future son-in-law.
"Of course not, Siyang, you take our Nianzhi to get the marriage certificate. We can discuss the wedding when you come back. Nianzhi can be a bit stubborn at times; I hope you will take good care of her," Mr. Fang said with a heavy tone. Although his daughter acted like a rascal and never listened, much like a child who never grew up, the thought of her really getting married still made him feel reluctant to let go.
Fortunately, Sang Siyang was indeed a decent person, and knowing that Nianzhi would be with him, they could rest easy.
"Uncle, Auntie, don’t worry, I will take good care of her," Sang Siyang said sincerely.
"Let’s go then; we’ll get the marriage certificate," Fang Nianzhi stood up, grabbed Sang Siyang’s hand, and headed for the door without any of her prior coyness.
Sang Siyang let her pull him along, his brow furrowed slightly, also noticing the woman’s change in behavior.
"You seem in a hurry to get married."
"Maybe a little. You don’t seem to be marrying for love either."
Fang Nianzhi didn’t bother hiding it; she could tell that Sang Siyang had agreed to the matchmaking for Grandpa Sang’s sake.
She felt they were similar, which was why she chose him; of course, his looks played a part as well.
"I’m not," he conceded frankly. "I just need a powerful ally." Their marriage wasn’t finalized with the certificate yet; if the other party regretted it, they could always change their minds.
"The Fang Family can give you that, and I have a small request: after we marry, don’t meddle with each other," Fang Nianzhi had no issue with this.
It was a win-win cooperation, and the fact that Siyang could carry the Sang Family during their downfall spoke volumes about his capabilities.
"Okay, but I hope you’ll restrain yourself. Stay out of the tabloids and keep it from Grandpa’s ears. And you don’t meddle in my affairs either; of course, I don’t intend to do anything that would embarrass you," Sang Siyang readily agreed. He wouldn’t interfere with whatever male models the girl wanted to hang out with, as long as she didn’t make it public.
He himself would only be busy with his younger sister and wasn’t interested in playing the field with women.
"No problem, I’ll be careful not to let anyone know," Fang Nianzhi agreed, although somewhat reluctantly. Was Sang Siyang being too stingy?
Would she have to sneak around even to shop in the future?
"Alright, no problems then, we’ll really get the certificate. Are you sure you want to be with me? We might never have an emotional foundation."
Sang Siyang couldn’t help but ask one more time.
"Of course, emotions and all that, how mundane," she thought, it was so much better to be a wealthy and beautiful trophy wife.
"Good, here’s my auxiliary card, it’s yours now. Let’s go to the civil affairs bureau and get the certificate."
"Sure," Fang Nianzhi didn’t hesitate and took the card; if her parents ever froze her own card, she would still have one to use.

Inside the villa
Sang Qiao had already taken maternity leave. Looking at each person’s clean profile on her phone, none of them had any issues.
Even the family they were negotiating contracts with had no grudges against the Si Family; the cooperation between the two families had always been amicable.
Recently, the son of that family was receiving treatment and would soon be discharged. She exited the page with a flash of pain in her eyes.
If... Si Chenli had been rescued at that time, could he have been discharged by now?
No, Ah Li hadn’t died; he was just being treated somewhere she didn’t know about.
No matter how clean the data might be, it didn’t prove anything. Anything was possible.
She needed to give Ah Li some time to heal and return. Now, all she needed to do was take good care of the child in her belly.
Once the child was born and Ah Li’s wounds were healed, their family could be reunited.
"Qiaoqiao, why haven’t you come downstairs all day? Are you feeling unwell?"
Mrs. Si went upstairs and saw Qiaoqiao sitting in a corner, spaced out, looking even less energetic than the day before.
She was worried. Yesterday, Qiaoqiao seemed fine, but today she was like this again, hardly ever coming downstairs outside of meal times.
"No, I’m just feeling lazy, so I stayed in bed a bit longer," Sang Qiao explained lightly as she stretched and stood up, appearing to be fine.
"Then after dinner, why don’t we go outside for a walk? It’s not good for you to lie down all the time," Mrs. Si suggested.
She understood that pregnant women were often tired and inactive, but one couldn’t lie down all the time.
"Okay."
"Ah He said he’s coming over for dinner after work, so you can go out for a walk and play together," Mrs. Si added.
In reality, she had invited Ah He over. At her age, sometimes there was a generational gap when chatting with Qiaoqiao.
She thought it would be good for the young people to talk. Some things might be easier to accept after being discussed.
"Alright," Sang Qiao nodded, her expression indifferent, showing no joy or anger.
She seemed compliant, agreeing to anything, but she lacked vitality.
Recently she looked more haggard than before, and being pregnant, eating less, her face had thinned significantly.
Mrs. Si watched with heartache, but despite having prepared all of Qiaoqiao’s favorite foods, her daughter-in-law still didn’t eat much.
