After Giving Birth, All My Beast Ex-Husbands Suddenly Want Me Back-Chapter 82: Ruthless fight
Nina darted aside just in time. Vines burst from the earth at her command, whipping around the mutated beasts and tightening in an attempt to restrain them. But her rank was still too low—the creatures tore through the vines within moments.
She couldn’t overpower them head-on.
Then she would have to fight smart.
Seizing an opening, Nina lashed a vine around the horn of one charging beast and yanked hard, using the tension to vault onto its back. As other mutated beasts lunged toward her, she repeated the maneuver—springing from one beast to another at the last possible instant.
The attacks meant for her instead slammed into the beast she had just abandoned, killing it in a frenzy of friendly fire.
After several such exchanges, the mutated beasts grew wary. They stopped attacking blindly and began circling, waiting for the right moment.
Suddenly, several incredibly fast beasts lunged at once. Nina leapt onto another beast’s back, but this one reacted differently. It bucked violently, twisting and thrashing to throw her off.
When that failed, it let out a thunderous roar and bolted toward a distant valley.
Dozens of mutated beasts followed.
Nina had no safe way to jump down—she could only cling tightly as the beast carried her farther and farther away.
"Nina!"
Sal saw what was happening and, ignoring the attacks around him, charged after her.
Immediately, part of the horde broke off to intercept him.
"Damn beasts!"
Fury exploded in Sal’s chest as he cut through them, but they threw themselves at him relentlessly, blocking every attempt to break through.
Yanai, too, was trapped in combat and unable to disengage.
By the time Nina realized how far she had been carried, the battlefield behind her was only distant noise.
Several mutated beasts pursued her into the valley. Nina hurled bombs behind her, explosions ripping through the pursuing ranks. Several beasts were killed or badly injured.
Aside from the one she rode—the seventh-rank beast—the others chasing her were lower rank. The stronger ones were still occupied with Sal and the others. That was the only reason her bombs were effective.
She quickly consulted Little Bun. The beast beneath her was roughly seventh rank.
Her lips twitched bitterly.
Of all the beasts to jump onto, she had chosen one of the strongest.
Unbeknownst to her, a shadow followed at a distance.
The seventh-rank beast suddenly halted in the center of the valley. The pursuing beasts spread out. One attacked the beast she rode from behind, while the others kept their distance, preventing her from leaping onto them.
Forced down, Nina hit the ground lightly.
Then the seventh-rank beast did something shocking—it slammed its own horn into a rock, snapping it off so she could not use it to vault again.
Nina’s eyes widened.
This beast wasn’t just strong. It was intelligent.
They circled her carefully, wary now, not attacking immediately.
So be it.
She would have to fight properly.
But her cubs...
Glancing at Yinny and Didi strapped to her, Nina’s heart clenched.
"Little Bun, is there something to protect the cubs?"
[Yes. A stationary protective barrier. It can withstand attacks up to seventh rank. Duration: two hours. It must remain fixed in place.]
"I’ll take it."
She placed the cubs inside the barrier, reinforcing it with additional vines.
"My babies," she whispered softly, "Mama is going to fight the bad beasts. Stay here and don’t move, alright?"
Yinny and Didi nodded anxiously, small voices calling for her to be careful. The remaining eggs trembled faintly as if echoing the same plea.
Nina swallowed and consumed one Breakthrough Pill.
Power surged through her veins like wildfire. Her aura leapt upward—close to sixth rank.
Vines erupted in thick, coiling masses, layering additional defense around the barrier before she turned and charged.
The lower-rank beasts fell quickly now beneath her enhanced strength.
But the seventh-rank beast was another matter entirely. She avoided it while clearing the weaker threats first.
The pill’s energy drain was immense. She could feel it already.
She had to finish this fast.
At last, the lower-ranked beasts lay dead.
Only the seventh-rank creature remained.
Nina drew a breath—and another figure suddenly stepped into view.
She barely dodged a sweeping claw and stared in disbelief.
"Sano? What are you doing here?"
"Long time no see, Nina," Sano replied smoothly, erecting a defensive wall to block the beast. "I had no idea you possessed abilities. What a delightful surprise."
He had once assumed her vines came from some special energy stone. Now he knew better.
He had followed her secretly ever since she left the tribe.
And today, he had learned the truth.
Though unsure of her exact rank, he judged her to be around fifth rank—perhaps slightly higher.
He had intended to stay hidden longer.
But if she died here, all would be wasted.
He himself had recently broken through to fifth rank. He could not kill the seventh-rank beast—but he could escape with her.
Nina’s gaze hardened.
She would kill him first.
To ensure victory, she swallowed a second Breakthrough Pill.
"Sano," she said coldly, "if you want to be my mate, kill this beast for me."
His face darkened.
He couldn’t.
"Nina," he urged, "we cannot defeat it. Even together. Come with me. I can get us out alive."
He had no intention of throwing his life away.
The beast shattered his defensive wall and lunged at him.
Nina stepped aside, letting them clash.
Sano faltered quickly under the beast’s assault. Desperation flickered in his eyes.
Then he glanced toward the protective barrier.
And deliberately redirected the beast’s attack toward it.
Nina’s blood ran cold.
She raced back, throwing herself between the barrier and the beast.
Though Little Bun claimed it could withstand seventh-rank attacks, she would not gamble her children’s lives.
She summoned vines in a frantic defense, but the beast’s strike tore through. Claws raked across her left arm and shoulder, leaving deep, bleeding gashes.
Sano had not expected her to shield the barrier.
Hatred ignited in Nina’s eyes.
He had dared endanger her children.
She would not let him live.
Her vines lashed out, sharper and more vicious than before. Sano was weaker than her current boosted state—he was overwhelmed in moments.
He tried to flee, but vines erupted from every direction, binding him tightly. He reached for an energy stone...
Too late.
The vines constricted mercilessly.
"How... are you so strong..." he gasped.
"Die," Nina said icily, "you bastard."
The vines hardened into spears and pierced through him.
His body went limp.
The seventh-rank beast roared and attacked again.
Time was nearly up.
Nina gritted her teeth and swallowed the third Breakthrough Pill.
Her power surged violently once more. The vines she summoned thickened like ancient tree trunks, crashing against the beast in a brutal exchange.

On the eastern side of the valley.
"High Priest," said a red-haired male, "there are sounds of battle and mutated beasts ahead. Someone is fighting."
"Let’s have a look," replied a breathtakingly handsome male, his tone calm.
They transformed into magnificent phoenixes and soared toward the valley.

On the western side.
"Kith, do you hear that?" Finch asked softly. "Could they be there?"
The faint bloodline connection they had been following had suddenly vanished not long ago. They had been searching blindly ever since—but they knew the cubs could not be far.
The barrier masked their presence.
"Let’s see," Kith answered quietly.
Together, they moved swiftly toward the sound of battle.
