Scarlett Jewel didn’t dare to speak as tears streamed uncontrollably down her cheeks.

"What are you crying for?" Rose Gable glared at her in disgust, her voice sharp as she snapped.

She was the one who had brought shame upon the Sinclair family, yet here she was, acting as if she were the victim of some terrible injustice.

This made Rose Gable even more furious.

"Stop crying. If you want to mourn, go back to your Mercer family and do it there. You’re such bad luck."
