Accidentally Yours, Mr. Stranger-Chapter 90 - 1. Couple workout - Part 1
Chapter 90: 1. Couple workout - Part 1
"Why do you look happy?" Xavier asked once he saw a very delighted Kyrell enter the gym.
The man had even woken up late, when Kyrell had always been the first to hit the gym.
"It’s a good day," Kyrell said and started to loosen his muscles.
Xavier placed the dumbbells back in their place and approached the man who was twisting his wrists and ankles.
"Are you sick?" Xavier asked and even touched Kyrell’s forehead, making the man roll his eyes in dismay. "You don’t have a fever. Then, what broke your brain?"
"You’re the one with a broken brain," Kyrell spat, giving the man a deathly stare.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever helps you marry Sienna. Why are you smiling like an idiot then?" Xavier stood before him, blocking his path, and folded his arms.
"Maybe because I had a good sleep," Kyrell said and started jogging in his place.
"Oh, I don’t doubt that. You should be sleeping especially well after Miss Lawrence asked you to marry her. But I know there’s some other reason behind your smile. Spit it out. Otherwise," Xavier threatened, flexing his muscles.
"Otherwise?" Kyrell cocked a brow, challenging him to continue and Xavier retreated immediately. He even took a few steps back to put some distance between them. "Don’t think I fear you. I just don’t want to hurt my friend."
"Yeah, right." Kyrell scoffed and approached the bench press. frёewebnoѵēl.com
"Aren’t you going to tell me or not?" Xavier looked at him as if he’d stop talking to him if he didn’t start speaking soon.
Kyrell let out a helpless chuckle and stopped before him. "I had a good chat with Sienna yesterday."
"And?" Xavier’s eyes lit up like a tubelight, bright and blinding. "I hope everything went well."
"It did. Don’t worry," Kyrell assured him and fixed the weight on the barbell.
"Did you guys set the boundary or not?" Xavier asked, curious to know what they spoke about. "Did you two end up rolling on the bed after your talk?"
Kyrell froze in his spot, his eyes quivering in disbelief. His mind exploded when he realized he had forgotten to talk about it. He had wanted to discuss with her how far she was willing to go during the contract period, whether they were limited to just hugs and kisses, or could they go beyond that?
But he had forgotten about it completely, too smitten by the woman to think about anything else.
Kyrell wanted to smack his forehead for his stupidity.
’How could I forget something so important?’ he chastised himself, doubting his intelligence for the first time. ’Was my brain kicked by a donkey? When did I become so dumb?’
Xavier peered at him, his eyes narrowing into thin slits. "You didn’t speak to her about it, did you?"
Kyrell remained silent, and Xavier almost rushed forward to kill the man. How could he forget something so important? Kyrell’s sex life was all dependent on this conversation.
"What did you guys even talk about?" he asked, too exasperated to even look at the man without punching him. His hands were itching to beat him into a pulp, and Xavier had to use a lot of willpower not to act on his thoughts.
"Other important things," Kyrell said and scrunched his face.
"What other important things could there be other than this?"
Kyrell’s gaze snapped to him instantly, and they had never been so terrifying.
Xavier shuddered and broke into a cold sweat, his skin tingling with goosebumps.
"Hey, relax. I was asking casually," he brushed off the matter with a fawning smile, and Kyrell sneered.
"You don’t have to worry about my sex life. Worry about yours instead," he taunted, giving Xavier a smug look. "You don’t even have a girlfriend."
Critical strike.
"Did you have to go there?" Xavier grumbled, and Kyrell tilted him slightly. "Fine, fine. You’re the Boss. Whatever you say."
"Better." Kyrell returned to the barbell and added some weight.
"On a serious note, what did you two even speak about? You were in Miss Lawrence’s room for more than an hour." Xavier was genuinely curious.
"Did you keep an eye on me?" Kyrell asked, giving him a look that promised death if he were to nod.
But Xavier didn’t take his threat to heart. He had the gall of a leopard.
"I saw you going to Miss Lawrence’s room. So, I waited for a few minutes."
"A few minutes?" Kyrell snorted and looked at him in contempt. "I didn’t know the meaning of a few minutes had changed."
Xavier smiled sheepishly at him, showing him all his teeth. "Will you tell me what you guys discussed?"
"No." Kyrell deadpanned and lay on the bench before he started exercising.
"You...."
"Yo, Ky, Xav," Nick entered and greeted them. "Why does Xavier look like a wife throwing a tantrum? Ky, what did you do?"
"You..." Xavier stomped his foot in anger and glared at the man who was tying his shoe laces.
"What?" Nick looked at him innocently. "I wasn’t the one who annoyed you. Direct your anger on the person responsible for it."
"Ho, ho, ho, good morning, early birds," Isaac entered with the others.
"What’s with you, Xav? Why do you look like someone stole your favorite ice cream?" Justin joked, swinging a towel until there was an audible swoosh.
Among the people from the Cheetah Corps, Justin and Kelsey were introverts and reserved. It took them some time to adjust to their surroundings.
Kyrell had assumed it would take them more than a week to get used to the new environment. But surprisingly, they had opened up within two days.
Glad that his friends were adjusting to the new space, Kyrell continued with his bench press, ignoring Xavier, who had begun his drama early in the morning.
"He’s throwing a tantrum as usual. Ignore him," Isaac said, admiring his body in the mirror.
"Oh."
Following his suggestion to the word, everybody ignored Xavier. They took their spots and started exercising, leaving a fuming Xavier to glare at them.
"You’re all bullies. I’ll complain to Miss Lawrence."
"What do you want to complain to me about?"
