Chapter 70: A hug filled with love - Part 2

Six hours passed.

Sienna slept for six hours straight, without waking up even once. She didn’t even budge in her sleep, making everyone antsy.

However, the doctor had assured them that everything was alright with her and she’d wake up once she was well-rested. So, they didn’t disturb her, allowing her to have a good sleep.

Kyrell didn’t budge from her side the entire time. He sat by her bed, watching her cautiously as if something would happen to her the second he turned his gaze away from her.

Now, not just his friends, even Frank was bewildered to see his behavior. His actions far surpassed the lines of his duty. He wasn’t Kyrell, the bodyguard anymore.

Frank didn’t know how to feel at that moment. Kyrell’s blatant display of concern wasn’t within his expectations and for a moment, his thoughts drifted off somewhere.

’Why is Mr. Winchester this worried about Miss? Isn’t she just his employer? What am I missing?’ he wondered, turning to the three people for answers.

But all he got in return was their silence. They didn’t even look at him. Instead, they continued with their business as if they had no idea about what was happening around them.

Their nonchalant attitude surprised him to no extent and he narrowed his eyes, realization dawning upon him slowly.

’Does Mr. Winchester like Miss?’

Frank didn’t think that Kyrell loved Sienna. After all, it had only been a few days since they met. His thoughts lingered more towards the man having developed a crush.

Frank didn’t rule out the possibility, nor did he find it to be absurd. Sienna was a lovely lady and it was hard for any sane person to not like her if he wasn’t in a relationship already.

Frank didn’t know what to feel at that instant. He trusted the man. Kyrell had saved Sienna’s life a lot of times. Considering all that was happening in her life, for a moment, he even wished for her to get together with him. Since she needed to marry someone to inherit all her assets, why not marry Kyrell?

’I must have a word with her once she recovers. Perhaps, this is how it is supposed to be,’ he thought, putting a tick mark beside Kyrell’s name in his mind.

Everybody was lost in their thoughts. So, they didn’t see Sienna’s fingers moving while her eyeballs quivered behind her eyelids.

However, Kyrell did. Since his eyes were transfixed on her, he didn’t miss anything, not even her minute movements and he sprang to his feet instantly.

"Miss Lawrence, can you hear me?" he asked, keeping his voice low and gentle. He didn’t dare show his agitation and panic lest he should perturb her all the more.

His sudden reaction gained everyone’s attention and Frank scurried closer to bed, hoping for Sienna to wake up soon.

Sienna groaned, feeling her head heavy and throbbing. A splitting headache made her feel as if she was being smashed by a sledgehammer.

Gritting her teeth, she forced her eyes open. Taking a few seconds to clear her sight, she blinked her eyes, clearing her sleep in the meanwhile.

"Miss Lawrence, how do you feel?" Kyrell enquired again when he saw her awake and Sienna’s eyes moved to him instantly. A frown marred her face and she looked at the man in confusion.

"Mr. Winchester, you..." Sienna hissed as she tried to sit up, a wave of vertigo washing over her.

"Careful, Miss Lawrence." Kyrell wrapped an arm around her shoulder as he helped her sit while Frank raised the bed, ensuring she was comfortable.

"Thanks," Sienna mumbled, not realizing how close she was to Kyrell at that moment.

But the others did and they smiled to themselves, finding the picture before them utterly lovely and heartwarming.

Even Frank withheld a smile, once again wishing for the couple to get together. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

"How do you feel, Miss Lawrence?" Kyrell asked, not moving away from her side as he continued to hold her shoulder.

"My head aches," Sienna replied, closing her eyes for a moment.

"I’ll inform the doctor." Xavier was the first to respond and sprinted out of the ward before anyone stopped him.

"I’ll go with you," Isaac followed after him, making a quick, awkward dash.

Amy just rolled her eyes at the men’s stupid antics. ’There was an alarm button by the bed. Why did they become stupid all of a sudden?’

"Where are we?" Sienna asked, looking at the unfamiliar room.

"We are at the hospital, Miss Lawrence. You fainted because you didn’t rest well." Kyrell didn’t mention anything about her call with Brendon. Her health and well-being were paramount. Everything else could wait.

Sienna nodded and closed her eyes, leaning into Kyrell’s embrace and Amy’s smile widened. If she didn’t know any better, she was damn sure she’d have assumed them to be a couple.

The doctor arrived quickly and Kyrell reluctantly moved aside, giving Sienna some space to breathe.

"Miss Lawrence, do you feel any discomfort?" the doctor asked, checking her vitals again.

"My head aches," Sienna replied, squinting her eyes.

"That’s normal. You were discharged before you recovered completely. Coupled with your stress and lack of good rest, your body couldn’t withstand it and you fainted."

The doctor didn’t mention anything about the shocking news Sienna had heard. She was already under a lot of pressure, with her body not in a good condition. It was better she didn’t get agitated again. She was in a fragile condition and the doctor knew not to mention anything that could trigger.

"Miss Lawrence, your reports are normal and there isn’t any major problem. You just need to rest well and stop overworking."

"I understand, Doctor. Thank you." Sienna listened to everything the doctor had to say.

After advising her some more, the doctor left the ward.

Taking it as their cue, Isaac, Xavier, and Amy slipped away, stating various reasons.

"Miss, I’ll bring some food for you. You must be hungry." Not intending to be a third wheel, Frank too left the ward, giving Kyrell and Sienna some time alone to cultivate their feelings.
