Chapter 362: Chapter 19: Two More Moms

Ah, this... although it’s quite a coincidence, doesn’t Alfheim have no concept of ’reincarnation’?

And even if there’s reincarnation, it’s impossible to reincarnate from Alfheim to Blue Star, right?

For a moment, Sasa was drenched in sweat.

Fortunately, not long after, Number Two wiped away her tears and apologized to Sasa: "I’m sorry, Sasa, I lost my composure and disrupted your reading time... I’ll adjust myself, it won’t take long."

Even at this point, is she still unwilling to leave my side and find another administrator to take over her shift?

This time, Sasa was truly drenched in sweat.

She felt like she was in big trouble...

But now is not the time to think about such issues; she must do her utmost to record knowledge.

Sasa shook her head, shaking off the troubling thoughts and focusing her spirit on reading.

Number Two kept her promise and soon adjusted her state, returning to an administrator’s mindset, no longer disturbing Sasa’s reading.

Immersed in reading, Sasa was oblivious to the passage of time until she lost strength again and slumped onto the table, finally coming to her senses.

"Sasa, what’s wrong with you?" Number Two was anxious again.

"It’s nothing, just lost my strength." Sasa panted heavily at the table, "Ms. Number Two, please cast a magic to restore my strength."

Number Two was a bit flustered, "I, I don’t know how... Don’t worry, mom... I will soon find someone to help treat you!"

Sasa heard Number Two’s self-reference, and even though she only said half a syllable, she could still tell what Number Two wanted to say.

It’s over! Number Two really seems to see her as her daughter!

Number Two quickly brought over an elf who had learned the magic for strength restoration and had him cast the spell on Sasa.

After her strength was restored, Sasa let out a sigh of relief and sat up.

"Sasa, how do you feel? Is there anywhere uncomfortable?" Number Two looked at Sasa with concern, completely ignoring the elf asking ’can I leave now’.

Sasa sighed, thanked the elf that Number Two brought over to help, and allowed him to leave before answering Number Two.

"Don’t worry, ’Ms. Number Two’, it’s a congenital problem, and I recently found a solution; it might not take long to fix this issue."

Number Two sighed in relief, raised her hand to stroke Sasa’s head with gentle eyes, "If there’s anything else you’re uncomfortable with, just let... me, I’ll help you."

Sasa was so scared that she got goosebumps all over.

This female elf has a problem!

This is not an insult; Sasa really felt that Number Two has a problem.

Number Two must be treating her as a substitute for her own daughter because she looks a lot like Number Two’s daughter. The more Number Two looks at her, the more she does psychological suggestion to make herself see Sasa more and more like her daughter.

Because of this, when Sasa collapsed, Number Two showed such anxiety.

Thinking of this, Sasa’s heart skipped a beat.

She didn’t know how Number Two’s youngest daughter died, but if that child died of illness, Number Two might really see Sasa as a stand-in for her daughter!

If Number Two’s condition worsens a bit, there’s a very real possibility she might abduct Sasa and take care of her as her own daughter.

If that happens, wouldn’t she be done for?

Fortunately, this time she wasn’t at the academy alone and had Ms. Bilukova by her side.

Forcefully calming her anxious heart, Sasa refocused her attention on the books.

After over an hour, Sasa felt she couldn’t take it anymore, put down the book, and asked Number Two: "Ms. Number Two, may I ask how much more reading time I have?"

Number Two seemed startled from her thoughts and hurriedly checked the time.

"Hmm... seven more hours."

Then, use it all up tomorrow! Sasa thought.

She no longer wanted to stay at the academy, and if possible, would prefer to have a different administrator accompany her tomorrow, but she dared not suggest it, fearing it might provoke Number Two.

This female elf’s mental state was already quite unstable, and provoking her any further might really get Sasa abducted.

Thinking of this, Sasa took a deep breath, stood up, and waved to Number Two: "Ms. Number Two, I’m leaving now."

"Okay." Number Two nodded, gazing foolishly at Sasa’s departing figure.

Leaving the grand library, Sasa headed straight to the inn and entered the room she shared with Yulia.

Yulia was sitting on the bed listening to old songs lost for ten years. Seeing Sasa enter, she smiled but noticed Sasa’s serious demeanor and asked with some confusion, "Sasa, what’s wrong with you?"

Sasa gave a wry smile and recounted her encounter at the grand library today.

After hearing, Yulia laughed out loud, "It’s simple, just recognize her as your godmother, won’t you? From what you’ve said, Ms. Number Two seems to be a very doting mother, right? If so, you can request to leave directly after becoming her adopted daughter."

Sasa, however, bristled, "Ms. Bilukova, please don’t joke like that! Recognizing her as my godmother would be the end — she’s already lost a daughter, how would she let another ’daughter’ leave her side?"

Upon hearing this, Yulia put away her smile and lowered her head to think, "That is indeed a problem..."

Knock knock knock!

Suddenly, a knocking sound came from the room door.

"Sasa, are you in there?" Number Two’s ethereal voice came from outside the door.

Sasa was scared out of her wits and hurriedly hid beside Yulia, saying with a sobbing tone, "Ms. Bilukova, see what I was saying?"

"Did she really follow us?" Yulia couldn’t help but gasp.

Then, Yulia put on her shoes from bed, picked up the chain-saw sword beside the bed, and muttered, "Stalking is a crime, Ms. Number Two..."

Knock knock knock!

The knocking became more urgent.

"Sasa, are you in there?" Number Two asked anxiously, "I know you’re inside, please open the door, I have something to say to you!"

Yulia turned her head to look at Sasa hiding on the other side of the bed, using her eyes to ask if Sasa wanted to open the door or not.

Sasa was pondering but saw smoke coming from the door frame.

"Yikes!" Sasa was really scared, all her hairs standing on end.

Bam!

The door frame corroded, the lone door panel couldn’t stand upright anymore, and fell inward into the room.

A tall female elf stood outside the door, attracting many glances from the hallway, but she paid no mind.

"Sasa, come and be my daughter."

"That won’t do." Yulia interrupted Number Two.

Number Two looked at Yulia, furrowing her brow behind the mask, "Who are you?"

The old lady was also a fun person, lighting a cigarette for herself, holding it in her mouth, and smiling: "I’m Sasa’s mom."

What? You’re my mom too?

Sasa was shocked looking at Yulia, even forgetting her fear of Number Two.

Number Two stared at Yulia, murmuring, "You’re Sasa’s mom... you’re human... you want to take Sasa away... no, you can’t take Sasa away!"

Yulia sensed danger immediately, activating the engraving. Twelve engravings unfurled like concentric lotus, and she lifted the huge chain-saw sword in front.

Number Two raised her hand, shooting a shockwave from her fingertips.

"Get out!"

The shockwave hit the wide blade of the chain-saw sword, pushing Yulia back two steps, leaving big dents in the wooden floor, almost breaking through.

Yulia leapt back, grabbing Sasa, smashing through the window behind them onto the street.

"Where are you taking Sasa!"

A scream like from hell flew out from the second floor of the inn, drawing attention from many elves on the street.

Number Two floated out through the shattered window, standing in the sky, pointing at Yulia, "Stop! Put Sasa down!"

The old lady hoisted the chain-saw sword on her shoulder, holding Sasa’s waist with her left hand, carrying her while laughing and escaping.

Number Two wanted to attack, but seeing Sasa in Yulia’s arms, she withdrew her hand.

Just thinking of her ’daughter’ leaving her, Number Two couldn’t bear it anymore and gave chase.

Sasa, resigned, was being carried by Yulia, completely giving up on herself now.

She never thought that, on a simple trip to the academy, she would end up with two ’moms’.

And they became her moms without her consent.
