Absolute Resonance-Chapter 1551: The War Begins

When Heavenly Emperor Jiang finished speaking, everyone's eyes shrunk. Even the other four Heavenly Emperors had solemn expressions. Everyone had nothing but respect for the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's Sect Master, who had slaughtered his way through the Shadow World, killing countless Grand Devil Kings.

During the Shadow World's peak, there were one hundred and eighty-three Greater Dominions. This also meant that there were a hundred and eighty-three Grand Devil Kings! However, there were only seventy-two today. This meant that the Legendary Sect Master had led the divine continent's experts and butchered over a hundred Greater Dominions during that battle and countless Grand Devil Kings had fallen to his hands. This also meant that the Shadow World had not managed to recover to their prime even after so many years. The ten divine continents were extremely ecstatic at the situation at the time. They had thought that if things continued that way, the perilous state of the human side would be completely reversed.

However, no one had ever expected that things would change contrary to their expectations so quickly.

The undisputed leader of the ten divine continents, the Sacred Void Resonance Sect, was suddenly destroyed and many of their Heavenly Emperors had vanished overnight, including the Legendary Sect Master. The headquarters of the sect had also been exiled into the void, making it virtually impossible to find. The sudden downfall of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect was undoubtedly a catastrophic result for the divine continents, and the remaining Heavenly Emperors were completely horrified by what had happened.

Losing the Sacred Void Resonance Sect meant that their losses had exceeded the losses inflicted upon the Shadow World. The only bright side was that the core of the Shadow World had also been harmed significantly, allowing the continents to pull back and hide in the dark whilst licking their wounds. It was the only reason they had managed to survive that chaotic and panic-filled era. Alas, after that pivotal change, they could only hole up on their side of the Realm Wall, no longer daring to set foot into the Shadow World.

Until today, there still remained an immense gap between the two sides' powers. All of their previous results had only been possible due to the existence of the Legendary Sect Master. Thus, when Heavenly Emperor Jiang had raised the prospect of the other resonances remaining intact, everyone was shocked. If this was true, then it would undoubtedly send shockwaves throughout the divine continents.

All of the Heavenly Emperors would be spurred to action.

Radiant King Qi Huang's expression turned heavy. "If I dare ask, Heavenly Emperor Jiang, just how many resonances did the Legendary Sect Master have? And what resonances were they?"

All of the Kings turned to look at Heavenly Emperor Jiang curiously.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang gave a slight smile. "That has been one of the best kept secrets of the divine continents ever since the Sacred Void Resonance Sect collapsed."

"Does this mean that even you do not know, Heavenly Emperor Jiang?" Wang Xuanjin asked in surprise.

This man was a Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor, the leader of the Academic Federation, and also the head of the divine continents' Heavenly Emperor Alliance. His power was transcendent and allowed him to see into the past, peeking into the long river of time. Even so, it turned out that he wasn't aware of just how many resonances nor what sort of resonances the Legendary Sect Master possessed?

Additionally, all information about the Legendary Sect Master has disappeared without a trace, as though the man never existed."

All of the Kings in the hall felt their bodies turn cold, causing a hint of fear to surface within their hearts.

At their current stage, they were already amongst the highest existences in the divine continents. Even so, they still felt like there was an invisible hand beyond their control that was shaping the situation.

"Just what happened in the depths of the Shadow World all those years ago? Why was the Sacred Void Resonance Sect destroyed? There were countless Heavenly Emperors within the sect, so where did they all go?" Qi Huang asked in a low voice.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang shook his head. "I'm afraid we will only be able to discover the answer when we are able to find the ruins of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's headquarters."

"How, then, did the Origin Reversion Institute discover news of the Divine Fruit crystal resonance?" Wang Xuanjin asked the most important question.

The indolent and charming Heavenly Emperor Ji then stretched her body, revealing her curves, and lazily replied, "The Origin Reversion Institute has existed for much longer than the Academic Federation, so it isn't surprising that they know many more secrets of the past than us. When we fight against the Origin Reversion Institute, we'll see if we can dig up some useful information as well."

She paused and then looked at Wang Xuanjin with interest. "I heard that the Genesis Seed and the Absolute Resonance Seed were found during the Celestial Mirror Pagoda's trials?"

Wang Xuanjin nodded and waved his sleeve, creating a projection of Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e.

"The Genesis Seed is known as Jiang Qing'e and the Absolute Resonance Seed is known as Li Luo. They are an inseparable couple and deeply in love," Wang Xuanjin responded with a grin.

"Haha, what a pair of beautiful brats." Heavenly Emperor Ji's peach blossom eyes flickered as she looked at the projections.

Heavenly Emperor Jiang smiled as he observed the two. "She's also a natural Genesis Seed, much better than my acquired Genesis Seed." Indeed, Heavenly Emperor Jiang had obtained the Greenwood Sacred Seed and eventually pushed it to the extreme, evolving it into an acquired Genesis Seed.

"Everyone, please return and make your preparations. It has been many years, but the Academic Federation is finally going to make a move. We have to let the Origin Reversion Institute know that it's time to retract their grubby claws." Heavenly Emperor Jiang's imposing words reverberated through the hall, faintly accompanied by the sound of blood and iron.

This was the formal declaration that these two behemoths would finally go to war against each other.
