Chapter 311: 311 ’Rebirth

[Donald’s Perspective]

I found that the cruel truth that Henry is the MASTER wasn’t as unacceptable to me as I had imagined.

Perhaps it’s because I’ve experienced too much of this lately, I’ve developed some sort of bizarre immunity to it.

In just half a year, I’ve undergone four unforgettable betrayals, beginning with my former capable assistant and excellent member of the personal guard force, Angel, followed by my childhood friend Austin, and now...

Now my own mother and my only brother have joined forces to rebel against me! In fact, at the moment I confirmed Henry was the MASTER, I doubted myself for a second. I wondered why everyone around me keeps betraying me one after another. Could it be my own fault?

Maybe, as Henry said before, I’ve just been in the honey pot for too long and forgotten how cruel the world really is?

But soon, all these questions and self-doubts in my heart were promptly stopped by Margaret, who is mostly very lucid and intelligent and can steadfastly offer me strength and confidence.

At this moment, I’m once again extremely grateful to have met her, my fated mate!

The battle between the Lycan Army and the Rebels outside the hall is extremely fierce, and the inside is no less intense. Of course, I’m not going to let Henry stay smug, the victory in this fight will ultimately belong to Margaret and me.

The first thing I did when I peeked out from cover was to complete my shift. My large and sturdy wolf form was a prominent presence in the entire hall, and that was exactly my aim. I wanted to attract everyone’s attention and quickly take down Henry!

It’s been a while since I last shifted, and Wolf is extremely excited at this moment, shouting that he wants to rush forward and bite the traitor, "Donald, let’s go, today I must take down that despicable traitor Henry! He deserves to die!"

I chuckled indifferently, only the murderous intent in my eyes was startling.

"Donald is over there! Kill him! Go!"

Henry’s kill order sounded ridiculously funny to me; I almost instantly spotted him amidst the crowd of Rebels. His figure seated in a wheelchair was very noticeable.

I moved swiftly towards him, turning into a silver-white streak of light, almost impossible to catch with the naked eye!

"Stop him! Kill him!" Henry knew very well what I wanted to do at this moment; his eyes narrowed dangerously, and he commanded the people around him.

With David and Louis powerfully covering my back, I was practically invincible in front of Henry’s Rebels. The Rebels, fierce and vicious though they might be, were a bit of a handful, but still not enough in face of absolute fighting power.

Like now, I casually swept aside those who stood in front of Henry with my sharp claws, my cold wolf eyes staring straight at Henry, "You’re not escaping today."

Henry seemed to not have expected my ferocity, and looked at me with some surprise, "This is impossible! Your fighting ability couldn’t have grown so fast, you before..."

He paused for a second, his gaze shifting past me to a huge pillar not far away. I slowly narrowed my eyes, a dangerous look on my face.

Henry was looking in the direction where Margaret was hidden!

"Margaret, so that’s the real reason behind your increase in strength, you’re really quite lucky!" Henry finished his previously unfinished words with a deep voice, and even a hint of envy appeared in his gaze as he met mine.

I didn’t really understand the reason for his emotion; I huffed coldly and moved forward another step, "There’s a lot you haven’t figured out. Don’t worry, Henry, this farce today will soon be over, and your ridiculous and boring declarations of rebellion will be a huge joke."

"Donald! You are truly arrogant..."

"So what? I have the power and grounds to be arrogant, unlike you, just a bug that forever lives in gloom and hatred!" Without giving Henry much chance to respond, I quickly cut him off, my lips curling into a mocking smile, continuing in a cold voice.

After appreciating the ’wonderful’ expression on Henry’s face, I continued, "Do you think I don’t know about the shameful tactics you’ve been playing behind my back? Your inferior Potions are like you, perverse and useless!"

As though he could no longer tolerate my continuous mocking and attacks, Henry’s red-rimmed eyes glinted fiercely as he snapped, "Shut up! You can’t possibly understand the grand significance of the ’Rebirth’, you shortsighted trash! The ’Rebirth’ is my greatest Potion innovation; it has given countless disfigured werewolves new hope, and people like you can’t comprehend it!"

So MASTER had named his damn perverse Potion ’Rebirth’; that truly was an extremely laughable joke.

Thinking this, I sneered even more in my eyes, "If such a Potion could actually heal disfigured werewolves, why don’t you use it on yourself first?"
