A Single Mother's Farm of the Gods-Chapter 374: Summer Vibes

When one says summer, everyone will start thinking about the beach and swimsuits, and no one will disagree about it as this is the majority of the people who thinks summer like this. There are many things that ties with summer, but these things are the things that most people think of to the point that some of the summer activities are always overshadowed by this single thing.

In Darcero Kingdom, Summer is just as the same as the other summer seasons. However, because Summer is a limited time affair that many can’t afford to enjoy in the other seasons, many people tend to go all out this summer which soon resulted in the beloved Summer Festival that always occur on the beach. One can say that since Summer is all about beach, then why not combine the Beach Opening Festival and the Summer Festival altogether? As a result, this became the main reason why a festival occurs during Summer.

"It doesn’t explain anything, Mother but whatever, if it is summer, it is all about the beach, yeah?" Adelaide grinned at Elaina who decided to explain what made Summer so lively in Darcero Kingdom and tried to make a short but epic explanation only to fail miserably.

"Well, give it up, Sis. The way you explain things doesn’t inspire much things even though you want to hype it up," Julia chuckled as she pack up the necessary things they needed for the beach.

Three days have passed since Elaina and the Feys finished planting the field with new crops for summer and right now, the group are currently planning to attend the Summer Festival on the beach. It has begun a few days ago but since it spans for over a week, even if they miss the very first day, it doesn’t really matter much considering that even if the festival ends, the beach remains lively until the end of summer season. In short, even without the festival, they can still enjoy the beach without problems.

"So Princess Margaux returned home to help at organizing the event, yes?" Elaina asked Julia.

"Yes. Although her help won’t be needed much this summer, she still wanted to go and have fun with her family for a bit. We might see her in the beach but we can’t really be sure. Anyways, Sis. Are you done over there? I just finished packing everything we will be bringing including your fishing gear."

"Yes. I am in the finishing touches here. Alright, there we go," Elaina smiled as she closed the containers that contain the food that they will be cooking in the beach.

"There will be many people cooking over at the beach right now, won’t things smell bad?" Adelaide asked. For Adelaide, this is her first time actually enjoying the beach.

"Haha, don’t worry, Ade. If things are similar last year, there will be magicians helping regularly to clean the air and keep the surroundings clean and safe so it will be alright. Just look at Arthur excited to experience his first time in the sea. I promise things are great!" Elaina reassures Adelaide.

Adelaide looks at her brother and like what her Mother said, he is indeed excited. The moment Elaina said that they will be going to the beach, he immediately got excited and started to inflate the deflated pool rings that were gifted by their uncle.

"Well, if you say so."

"Julia, are you sure that you won’t be swimming and you will be staying on our area instead once we got to the beach?" Elaina asked.

"Yes, Sis. As much as I do wanted to enjoy the festivities right now, I am not going to be spending much of my time in the middle of the heat. I just finished my skin moisturizing potion the other day, I don’t want to just immediately ruin things. And besides, who will watch over Raye? With you and the kids going to frolic into the water later, Raye will be left alone there. Might as well make myself useful then."

Elaina nodded as she looked at Julia’s skin. No wonder her skin seems to look blooming for a bit and a bit looking good, it turns out she was using some new potions for this.

A few moments later, the witch enters the farmhouse also bringing a few supplies herself. Compared to her usual outfit she keeps on using everyday, her current outfit is pretty loose and casual to the point that one would be surprised to see the one who always wear a flowy gown to just wear a loose shirt, shorts, and her swimsuit underneath the clothes.

"I am ready...but this clothes...feels too exposed for some reason..." the witch is blushing as she tries to cover her body.

"Don’t worry about that. This is a normal thing that you won’t feel like you are being an exhibitionist yourself. You will get used to the feeling once we arrive at the beach, trust me," Julia said.

"Alright...but I am still skeptical about this..." the witch said, still shy about her clothes.

It didn’t take too long before the person they are waiting for has arrived. Troy arrived, looking so casual that he didn’t look like the Troy that they keep seeing before. His clothes is just an unbuttoned shirt, exposing his abs and well toned body and a summer short, embodying a guy enjoying summer while looking like a heartrob just by exposing his body around which will make any young girls scream in delight just to see and touch them. Even though Troy didn’t do any kind of workouts, considering the nature of his work, it won’t take too long for him to develop a body like that.

"Everyone, are you all done? I have already secured a place we can enjoy. Dr. Fey is already there currently setting up the place for us while waiting for you girls to arrive," Troy said, as he scoop up both Adelaide and Arthur in his arms.

"We just finished our preparation and we are just waiting for your arrival. Good to know you secured a place, but is it crowded?" Elaina asked.

"Not really. There are people swimming around but compared to the opening days and the other day, the people on the beach is a bit smaller but not enough to say that the place is desolate from people. Don’t worry, we won’t feel suffocated there, its just the right amount of people there right now!"

"Alright, let’s get going!"

"YEAH!"

The beach is indeed very lively and like what Troy have said, the place is not so crowded. There are still locals and tourists around but not enough to overwhelm the whole place that even moving is not easy. Even the port is filled with anglers currently catching fish for themselves as well. The local fisherman, Lorenzo, is busy with various people renting his fishing rods.

As for the spot that Troy secured, it was indeed a good spot. Not too close to the water, yet not too far. And it was in an accessible place for the shops that are open in the beach, making trips around them easy to do in case one wanted to buy something. Dr. Fey has also set up the grilling station as well and is already heating up the charcoal with some fire stone to start their grilling process.

"Great place you got there, Doctor," Elaina smiled as she meet Doctor Fey who is currently tending on the grilling station.

"Miss Elaina! It’s been a while since we last met. How have you been?" Doctor Fey welcomed Elaina, hugging her like they haven’t met for a long time even though they just didn’t met for a few months.

"Been doing good. The seasons has been good to us and we didn’t have any problems in health."

"That’s good to know, being sick nowadays is not an easy thing and its good to just hang out like this without the need check-ups, you know? Thankfully, even without Maria right now since she returned home to spend a bit of the summer with her family, your brother has been a spectacular assistant that if not for his regular job, I would not hesitate to hire him as one."

Elaina nodded, happy that his brother is taking actions like this. Then, she looked at Dr. Fey. She is currently wearing a swimsuit top while she wears a shorts, revealing her sexy body that is usually hidden inside her gown. And for once, she didn’t look like she has no time to sleep. Her hair is is currently tied in a bun, and she look a lot prettier right now compared to when she adorns the doctor’s garb and having a hair a bit messy. Her gothic look is replaced with a cheerful look. She still has the gothic feeling, but lacks the looks to make it up.

"Hmm, what’s wrong?" Dr. Fey tilted her head when Elaina seems to pause for a bit.

"Ah, sorry. After seeing you in the swimsuit, I think it is indeed time to remove my garments and reveal my swimsuit that I couldn’t wear last year due to my pregnancy. Now that things have returned to normal, it is time for me to enjoy summer to the fullest!"
