Thanks to the ritual’s results, Elaina decided to give the remaining half of the gemstones she mined before to the witch as a way of thanking her. This is a regular weather of the season and this weather is also the same weather the crops and items thrive. In short, she doesn’t need to care about it. It is time to get back to work.

Since the previous work of tilling the field went straight to the garbage can after the whole deal of rain, Elaina had to do the work all over again. Unlike Darcero Kingdom’s celebration of the rain finally stopping, the Merfolk Kingdom is welcomed with the big news of trouble that they thought would not come but actually happened in just a single day.

A day passed by and the servants of these Elders who were supposed to fetch them to attend various meetings entered their meeting room and soon were welcomed with the sorry sight of the elders who had all collapsed and are all collapsed while their blood mixed into the water. As a result, the ones who caught all the brunt of curiosity and question by the populace are none other than the remaining families of the Great Families.

And this is exactly what is currently happening in the First Great Family. The family is currently having a family meeting at the moment and is trying to solve the current situation.

"What are we going to do about this? I didn’t even expect things would suddenly go this badly!" the son of the Elder who was supposed to be the one who will inherit the title and power that the Elder holds is now panicking.

"What can "WE" even do? Father had all of his mana veins ruptured! Not only that but as a result of him losing a lot of power, doesn’t that mean Father also lost the power that he was supposed to pass to his descendants so that our family remains one of the greatest?!" the daughter of the Elder is also not able to properly believe the situation they are in.

The wife of the Elder just sighed seeing the bickering of the two.

Thanks to the sun returning in Darcero Kingdom, the beach opening that was supposed to happen during the beginning of summer is held the next day after the sky has cleared. It even became a big headline in the newspapers. And this is a joyous occasion for everyone who suffered the rainy days. Because the true summer experience has finally occurred.

Elaina woke up early the next day, excited for the new day and the new work. Even the heat of the surroundings has started to ramp up as well. It might not be the best weather for relaxation but it is calming to know that it is a regular weather now instead of the abnormal weather.

And aside from Elaina, her two babies also woke up with her and realized Elaina had already got up from the bed.

"Mom, are you going to work?" Arthur asked.

"Yes, dear. With the rain gone, we can now properly enjoy summer without feeling cold every day."

Adelaide sighed in relief. "Haha, finally. Cold weather is something I recently hated and I didn’t expect that I would finally be happy again now that the season’s abnormality is solved. Does that mean we can now go and swim in the ocean soon?"

Elaina nodded. "Of course. Once work is done and all that is left is to let them grow, everyone will have a chance to swim into the sea this time around."

Elaina is also happy to know about this. Since last summer was a bit controlled and something that she couldn’t enjoy much due to her being pregnant at that time, she had less enjoyment than the girls before. But since she is no longer pregnant and she can bring her babies into the sea this time around, Elaina can finally show off and make her swimsuit that she didn’t get to wear last summer possible to be used this time around.

Walking to the crib, Raye continued to sleep soundly and Elaina looked happy as she observed the little baby. He might not be her blood-related baby, but Elaina could feel her maternal instincts kicking in. She vowed to herself that whatever the mother failed to give to the baby, Elaina would be able to provide.

"Alright, everyone. Now you two go and wash up in the bathroom and get ready. Do your daily morning exercise with the others alright?"

"Yes Mom," the two simultaneously answered.

Now that summer is in the air, Elaina gears up. It is time to begin the summer work with the Feys.
