A Luna for Alpha Kieran-Chapter 112: Heir...
Chapter 112: Heir...
Alpha Thorgar Ulfsen...ruling over the notorious Skarthheim pack... was no ordinary man.
He was what nightmares were made up of.Rumor had it that he commanded not only wolves but the wind and the sand... and some other creatures of the dark who must not be named.
He was both feared and revered by his own people... but maybe he was never loved.
Thorgar towered above a ring of bodies. Bare chested and gleaming with sweat, he looked nothing short of a Minotaur in human form.
His eyes were wild, his fangs bared in something between pleasure and desperation. The air reeked of sweat, iron, and the musk of feral desire.
He was right in the center of the Skarthheim stronghold...definitely not a bedroom, not even a hall, but the open dirt courtyard where warriors trained and prisoners were broken.
Alpha Thorgar Ulfsen took his pleasure like the beast he was.
Women knelt before him, their backs arched, their skin glistening with the marks of his hands. They were not lovers. They were vessels...half shifted priestesses, warriors, and breeders...all of them naked but painted in sacred runes.
Some crouched at his feet, some writhed beneath his touch. Their cries echoed in rhythm with the drums as they whispered the same word over and over again.
"Now... it is time... The heir must return..."
Thorgar growled, thrusting harder with each breath.
"I will give this pack its fucking god," he snarled. "He will come from my blood and tear this world apart..."
The women mewled in encouragement, arching into him.
"Your seed will awaken the prophecy, Alpha..."
"The moon turns red tonight. We are ripe."
It went on like a hypnotic melody. ƒгeewёbnovel.com
The fires crackled high into the sky, dancing like spirits conjured by blood. The drums pounded louder in the distance.
"Breed," he snarled, his voice roared into an impatient command as he gripped the hair of the nearest female, yanking her head back. "This moon cycle is ripe. The prophecy demands my heir."
The woman beneath him moaned, her lips splitting into a grin despite the blood trickling from her nose. "Yesss, Alpha... We will give you a son. We will give you the monster you desire..."
Thorgar laughed and slammed into her harder. His other hand wrapped around the throat of a second woman as she gasped. "You’d better. Or I will slit your bellies open and sew a child into them...I can not wait any longer..."
A third woman shuddered, her eyes rolling back as his teeth scraped her neck!
Thorgar howled to the sky...until a sudden caw sliced the air above.
A shadow passed overhead.
A single crow.
It let out another piercing caw.
Thorgar’s yellowish orange eyes narrowed.
The bird wheeled in the sky above them, its feathers smoking faintly, as if carrying an omen...Thorgar did not like that at all.
Then...still buried in one of the priestesses...without breaking rhythm...he reached for the gun strapped to the thigh of the woman.
BANG.
The shot echoed across the courtyard.
The crow shrieked, its feathers exploding in a burst of black and crimson as the bullet tore through its chest. It spiraled downward, landing in the dirt with a thud.
Thorgar grinned, still thrusting. "Fucking pests."
But then a scream tore through the space..."NO!You fucking monster! What have you done?!"
Thorgar paused, glancing to his side, but still inside the woman beneath him...as Selene burst through the gathering, her hood torn back, eyes wild, dropping to the blood wet dirt to gather the fallen feathers.
Her hands shook as she pressed the bird’s limp body to her chest.
"You killed him?!" she hissed, then added in a whisper almost to herself, " All over again???" Her voice was raw with horror as she clutched the bird tighter as if hugging a cute little plushie.Tears came faster than her breath.
Thorgar finally stilled, reluctantly pulling away from the women, who whimpered at the sudden emptiness. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, eyeing Selene with a mix of amusement and curiosity.
"Well, well," he drawled, strolling towards her. "My runaway bitch is back?"
He grabbed her hair, yanking her head back until her throat was bared. His thumb swiped across her cheek, leaving a streak of spit and blood. "What brings you here, my little dirty queen? Missed my cock?"
Selene wiped her face with a snarl but then her expression shifted.
Her lips curled into a smirk.
Because behind her, the gates creaked open.
The guards marched in, carrying a stretcher between them. And on it lay Autumn, her body limp, her skin so pale it was almost translucent.
Thorgar’s grip on Selene’s hair slackened.
His breath caught.
For the first time in decades, the mighty Alpha of the Skarthheim pack looked...
Stunned!!! Completely taken aback!!!
"Impossible," he whispered. His hand dropped to his side, fingers twitching. "What black magic is this?" He almost staggered.
Selene threw her head back and laughed. Loud and bold. The warriors around them shifted uneasily, their hands drifting to their weapons.
When her laughter finally faded, she wiped a tear from her eye and stepped closer to Thorgar, her voice dropping to a whisper as she placed her hand over his shoulder and whispered into his ear. "This is no black magic. You can feel it, can’t you?I can hear your heart reacting to her presence!" She pressed a hand to his chest, right over his pounding heart. "You can’t deny it."
Thorgar’s jaw clenched. His nostrils flared. It was true... he could not deny it...no matter how absurd it looked. Thorgar could not rationalise the situation using any logic... and the truth kept thumping in his chest... getting louder and louder by the minutes.
Selene leaned in closer, her lips brushing his ear lobes, tongue almost licking it as she delivered the killing blow...
"Congratulations, Alpha."
A pregnant pause.
A heavy breath.
And then she added, clapping both hands together, turning around to face the crowd...
"I just brought home your heir."
