Chapter 107: Chapter 107: Don’t Hit My Beanie

Beautiful!

Stunning!

The girl in the photo was the pinnacle of beauty!

Not the seductive kind, but a pure beauty that captivated the eye, the kind of purity that could drive men wild!

This kind of look was exactly what high society craved.

Manager Lewis’s lips slowly curled into a smile. He chuckled, "It seems she is indeed very beautiful."

"So, does the manager still think she can’t bring you a profit?" Wanda Quincy asked with a smile.

Manager Lewis shook his head. "With looks like these, she could fetch at least one hundred thousand a night. Those rich bosses love this type. I’ll go contact someone right now and have her taken away tonight."

"Good," Wanda Quincy agreed crisply.

They struck a deal instantly.

...

Meanwhile, Vivian Quincy, completely unaware of the danger, slept peacefully while holding Beanie.

The next morning, Vivian Quincy got up early to make Beanie breakfast. She had taken the day off from work. After they finished eating, she took Beanie to the hospital to have his dressing changed.

At noon, Jasper Ford called her, but Vivian Quincy didn’t answer. Later, Caden Chandler called as well. Finding it strange, Vivian Quincy picked up.

"Hello, Caden Chandler. Do you need something?"

"It’s me," came a glacial voice.

Jasper Ford, who had been calling Vivian Quincy all morning, was on the verge of exploding. He had tried calling her again at noon, only to be hung up on. Unable to understand why, he had taken Caden Chandler’s phone to call, never expecting that Vivian Quincy would actually answer Caden’s call!

The man’s glare was vicious enough to tear a person in two!

Caden Chandler couldn’t help but wipe the cold sweat from his forehead, saying innocently, "President, I don’t know why she answered my call either. This has nothing to do with me."

The man scoffed, ignoring Caden Chandler completely, and said to Vivian Quincy, "Where are you?"

"I just left the hospital," Vivian Quincy answered truthfully.

Jasper Ford’s eyes darkened. "What were you doing at the hospital?"

"Getting Beanie’s dressing changed," Vivian Quincy said.

Jasper Ford said, "I’ll have Caden Chandler come pick you up."

"No need. I’ll take the bus home," Vivian Quincy refused bluntly.

Jasper Ford: "He’s picking up Beanie."

"Beanie isn’t going with you." With a CLICK, Vivian Quincy hung up the phone and took Beanie to a nearby amusement park.

She noticed Beanie’s spirits were low, likely because he had been hit.

Vivian Quincy felt terrible about it, so she wanted to take Beanie to the amusement park to help him relax.

After waiting at the bus stop for over ten minutes without a bus in sight, Vivian Quincy grew impatient. Just as she was about to hail a random taxi, a black car pulled up in front of her.

"Get in." A man’s cold voice came from the car.

Vivian Quincy froze.

Beanie was also very surprised. "Kaye? What are you doing here?"

"Hurry up and get in," Hayden Kaye replied impatiently.

Vivian Quincy glanced at the dense traffic behind them. Seeing it would be a while before she could hail a cab, she had no choice but to get in with Beanie.

Hayden Kaye asked, "Where are you two going?"

"Kaye, we’re going to the amusement park! The one at Mount Veridia," Beanie’s voice was cheerful.

Hayden Kaye started the car and headed for the amusement park.

Vivian Quincy didn’t say a word the entire way, mainly because she didn’t know what to say. Beanie was lively, constantly asking Hayden Kaye what fun things there were at the amusement park. Hayden Kaye answered distractedly. Once they were out of the traffic, he finally said, "Your injury... is it any better?"

Vivian Quincy stiffened and looked up. "What are you talking about?"

"Stay away from my Ninth Uncle. Wanda Quincy is a lunatic. As long as you’re near my Ninth Uncle, she’ll keep tearing at you," Hayden Kaye said with utmost seriousness.

"You know everything?" Vivian Quincy retorted.

Hayden Kaye didn’t answer. Silence fell in the car once more.

For the past few days, it wasn’t just Wanda Quincy who had been watching Vivian Quincy; Hayden Kaye had been too. He knew about Vivian Quincy’s dealings with Jeremy King, he knew Mrs. King had come to cause trouble for Vivian Quincy, and he even knew what happened last night.

Hayden Kaye knew Vivian Quincy was in trouble, but he didn’t want to help. He wanted to watch, with his own eyes, as Vivian Quincy was pushed to the brink, becoming a target for all, so she would finally realize how good he had been to her.

Originally, Hayden Kaye hadn’t planned on bothering with Vivian Quincy today, but when he found out she had gone to the hospital, he couldn’t help but worry and followed her.

They arrived at the amusement park.

Hayden Kaye parked the car and stared intently at Beanie for a few minutes. It all became clear to him.

Vivian Quincy didn’t offer any explanation. After thanking Hayden Kaye, she told Beanie to get out of the car.

Hayden Kaye said, "Vivian, it’s the weekend. Everyone who brings their kids to the amusement park are parents. Is it really okay for you, a single mother, to bring him here?"

His words stunned them both, the adult and the child.

Beanie looked up and met Vivian Quincy’s complicated gaze. He said, "It’s okay. I don’t mind."

"Vivian, Jeremy King has already abandoned you. Is it so hard for you to be with me?" Hayden Kaye continued to press.

Beanie froze, his pretty eyes widening. He asked in a small voice, "Kaye, what are you talking about?"

"Beanie, do you know who your father is?" Hayden Kaye asked.

Beanie blinked, clutching Vivian Quincy’s hand.

Vivian Quincy warned Hayden Kaye, displeased, "That’s enough. Don’t say this in front of a child."

"Your father is Jeremy King. Did you know that?" Hayden Kaye said to Beanie.

Beanie had heard the name Jeremy King before. He blinked. "Isn’t he already married? Besides, my mommy said he has nothing to do with me."

"This is the paternity test Wanda Quincy had done. I got a copy from the hospital. I think you need to see it." Hayden Kaye pulled a paternity test report from the car and handed it to Vivian Quincy. "Mrs. King wouldn’t have come looking for trouble for no reason. She got so angry because she saw this report. Vivian, how long are you going to deny it? Or rather, how long are you going to hold out for a married man with a family?"

Vivian Quincy was utterly confused!

She realized that for the past few days, people had been trying to drill the idea into her head that Beanie was Jeremy King’s son. But Vivian Quincy knew very well that he wasn’t!

She said, "Which hospital did you get this from? When did Beanie even have a paternity test?"

"My family’s private hospital. Wanda Quincy brought the samples in herself. It has Jeremy King’s name on it. Beanie is Jeremy King’s son," Hayden Kaye said with firm conviction.

Seeing Vivian Quincy’s silence, he added, "Vivian, Mrs. King has already gone to your workplace to cause a scene. Are you really going to let her bully you like this, to live this kind of disgraceful life in the shadows with your child?"

Vivian Quincy took a deep breath and said very seriously, "Hayden Kaye, this is my own business. I hope you won’t say these things in front of Beanie."

Afraid that Beanie would be hurt and sad, Vivian Quincy quickly grabbed his hand and led him out of the car.

Hayden Kaye chased after them. "Vivian, think about it again."

The words had barely left his mouth when Hayden Kaye saw a group of men in black rushing toward Vivian Quincy. A flash of surprise crossed his face. He wanted to stop them, but it was too late. Two of the men grabbed Vivian Quincy’s arms and pinned them.

"Vivian Quincy, long time no see," Manager Lewis said with a smile as he walked up.

Hayden Kaye said, "Manager Lewis, what are you doing?"

When Manager Lewis saw it was Hayden Kaye, he quickly greeted him, "Master Kaye, what a coincidence. Are you...?"

"She’s my woman," Hayden Kaye said, his face cold.

Manager Lewis raised an eyebrow. "Master Kaye’s woman? That can’t be right. She clearly belongs to our Nightfall."

"What do you mean by that?" Hayden Kaye questioned, his eyes narrowing.
