A Favor Done, A Husband Won-Chapter 447 - 441: In His Deep, Dark Gaze
The man spoke as he pressed closer, his eyes full of intense aggression.
This aggression grew nearer and nearer, making Shi Su swallow hard. She wanted to say something irrelevant to ease her inner tension, but Jing Jihan had no intention of giving her that opportunity. He moved over her, bracing his arms beside her waist, trapping her beneath him.
The bedroom was brightly lit, and the towel that had been hastily draped over Shi Su provided little coverage. Now, trapped under the blanket and him, her exposed neck line was smooth and alluring, her damp hair splayed on the pillow. She looked up, catching a glimpse of Jing Jihan’s defined jawline, then further down to see the slight movement of his Adam’s apple.
Her gaze slowly shifted upward to see the fire in his deep, dark eyes, desire churning at the depths of his pupils.
...
This year, the first snow in Jiang City came a bit early. It started at some point during the night, and by the next morning, snowflakes fell softly from the branches.
The outside sky was still dim, shrouded in the haziness of dawn.
Shi Su turned over under the covers, her body sore from the long abstinence from intimate affairs. Even after being carried into the shower, she still felt aches all over. Wrapped in the blanket, she lay on the bed motionless with closed eyes, drowsily hearing the sound of water from the bathroom. When the water stopped, she opened her eyes slowly in a half-awake state, her consciousness gradually returning as she saw Jing Jihan walk out of the bathroom.
She carried with her the same scent of body wash as him, a pleasant and cool light fragrance, likely the scent of fir. When applied to the body, even the slightly aching areas were soothed and cooled significantly.
Though it had been a long time, Shi Su was still well aware of Jing Jihan’s stamina. If he found out she wasn’t asleep after such a long time, who knew how long he would torment her again.
Shi Su quickly and "naturally" turned over, facing the other way, pretending to be asleep.
But Jing Jihan still brought with him the scent of fir, lifting the covers to lay beside her and covering the half-exposed fair calf she had revealed by turning over. He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace.
Shi Su wanted to pretend to sleep, staying motionless. To her surprise, the man first held her, kissing her gently from her hairline, her forehead, her brow, and finally her nose tip, feather-light but making her heart itch, unable to rest peacefully in feigned sleep. Finally, unable to resist, she opened her eyes just as Jing Jihan suddenly sealed her lips with a gentle kiss.
"Still pretending to sleep?" Jing Jihan asked with a low chuckle, holding her lips.
Shi Su realized how hopeless she was, quickly sinking into the tenderness in just a few seconds, even gradually losing herself.
What awaited her, naturally, wasn’t the sudden brightness of dawn, but the man who directly carried her onto himself. She lay on top of him, gazing down to meet his eyes, then succumbed in this forceful tenderness, being conquered once more.
...
At some point, daylight fully broke. Shi Su began to struggle faintly in Jing Jihan’s embrace, afraid that if this continued, her life would end on what was truly her "wedding night."
She turned over on top of him, sitting up, looking down at the man whose desires still smoldered in his eyes, making him seem exceptionally charming. Shi Su was drenched in sweat, simultaneously exhausted enough to want to plead for mercy and irresistibly drawn to kiss the particularly enticing man at this moment...
In the quiet air, Shi Su’s ears turned red as she suddenly leaned down to kiss him. The man easily flipped her back to the center of the bed, supporting her back—
By the time the sound of water came from the bathroom again, it was already past nine in the morning.
Hui, understanding as ever, didn’t deliberately come to wake them, nor did she send breakfast over, merely waiting for them to wake naturally and eat in the front hall. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

In the front hall, breakfast had just ended, and Mianmian, having been fed, was peering outside, wondering why Ji Han and mommy hadn’t yet gotten up for breakfast when Mrs. Hui had already cleared the table.
Mr. Jing was in particularly good spirits today, asking Mr. Li to prepare pen and ink, insisting on teaching Mianmian calligraphy.
"I’ve wanted to do this for many years. The moment I had a great-grandchild, I thought I’d personally teach them Go and calligraphy when they grew up. These are things my great-grandfather taught me. The rich culture of China is vast and profound, and children need to be immersed in it from a young age. This way, they can become upright individuals, even more exceptional than their parents." Mr. Jing mumbled while taking Mianmian over to show her the brush.
Last night, Mrs. Jing herself found a comfortable guest room to rest in, never returning to the master bedroom she used twenty years ago. She too seemed in good spirits now, her neatly arranged white hair and gold-rimmed glasses lending her the appearance of an elegant and dignified elder, sipping tea as she watched Mianmian.
"In this day and age, with children so young, we shouldn’t burden them with unsuitable teachings. Our Mianmian is a girl, not a boy. Don’t treat my great-granddaughter like you did Jihan and Xiao Zhou back then. Nowadays, kids are encouraged to grow up happy and stress-free. Only a stubborn old-timer like you would teach these things." Mrs. Jing scoffed at Mr. Jing, clearly displeased.
"Who’s stubborn? Who’s old-fashioned? Other kids want my teaching, but I’m not even interested." Mr. Jing snorted, "My two grandsons grew up under my cane. Look at how upright they are now!"
Just then, Mrs. Jing put down her teacup, her voice chilled: "Try using that cane on Mianmian."
The old man looked down at the little girl holding the brush curiously, his gaze instantly softened. Resisting the urge to hug her close, he snorted again but said nothing more. It was clear not only was he unwilling to be too harsh with little Mianmian, but if anyone dared to touch his great-granddaughter, he’d fight tooth and nail.
"Old Master, there’s a delivery for you." Mr. Li brought in a document package from outside.
"A delivery? What delivery could I possibly have?" Mr. Jing patted Mianmian’s head, letting her play with the brush as he went over to take the package. Opening it, he found a paternity test report for Jing Jihan and Shi Mianmian.
Seeing the result confirmed that Mianmian was indeed Jing Jihan’s biological daughter, Mr. Jing couldn’t hide his joy, yet he immediately looked stern and serious: "I don’t need this to recognize my great-granddaughter. Why would they send it to the Jing Family?"
