A Favor Done, A Husband Won-Chapter 319 - 314: Realizing Her Fundamentally Unreliable Soul
"The rainbow cloud your Wen Ke waited for was probably intercepted halfway." Jing Jihan chuckled lightly, pressing the little drunkard in his arms into the car, "Sit tight, don’t move around."
Shi Su leaned back in the passenger seat, feeling the man fastening her seatbelt. She opened her drunken eyes and looked at him. Since he bent close before her, she suddenly giggled, pursed her lips, and planted a kiss on his cheek with a "mwah."
The man paused, glanced at her, and Shi Su, with a dazed smile, winked at him, "Thank you... um... thank you, sugar daddy... hic... for rescuing me from peril... and letting me... hic... escape unscathed."
As she spoke, she puckered her lips to kiss him again, but Jing Jihan barely got a kiss on the corner of his lips before his brow twitched, his eyes deep as he warned, "Don’t mess around, I’m about to drive."
"Hmm... I’m just thanking you." Shi Su immediately blinked at him like a pouting little girl. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Although he was kissed by her, Jing Jihan didn’t dodge. He let her give a couple of "grateful" kisses, then looked down at her with dark eyes. Seeing her making a few kisses and preparing to retreat, he suddenly lifted a hand to grip the back of her head, pulling her back, grinding down on her lips, and only letting her go when she began to struggle for air with a muffled "mmph."
"Behave a bit, and we’ll talk about gratitude later at home, okay?" The man warned her in a husky voice, and then shut the car door.
Shi Su leaned against the seat, looking dazedly out the car window, tapping her hand on the door, her eyes unfocused as she said, "Hey... hey... don’t lock me up... let me out..."
Then she suddenly heard the driver’s side door open, turned her head curiously to look at him, and only then realized she wasn’t locked in—it was the car. Clutching her chest, she leaned back and pointed forward, "Let’s go, home! Move out!"
Jing Jihan glanced at her; while starting the engine, he couldn’t help but ask, "How much did you drink?"
"I don’t remember..." Shi Su tried hard to recall, then waved her hand, "Forget it, I just know I drank too much..."
Jing Jihan sneered, "With such a low tolerance, you still want to socialize? If Wen Ke didn’t come, and if I hadn’t seen the message, have you thought of the consequences?"
Shi Su suddenly crossed her arms over her chest and earnestly said, "No matter what happens, I swear I’ll never give in!"
Seeing her face, flushed red from intoxication, and her not entirely wakeful eyes, Jing Jihan sighed helplessly, adjusted the coat on her, and patted her head to reassure her, "We’ll settle accounts when you sober up. Sit tight first."
"Oh, okay." Shi Su seemed not to have heard the first part, only hearing the instruction to sit tight. She promptly sat upright as if she were a child in kindergarten being told by a teacher to sit properly.
Drunk Shi Su: if not kneeling by his leg calling him "boss daddy," then she’s untangling her robe at the Jing Family twisting about, or sitting wide-eyed childishly like right now.
It’s not the first time seeing Shi Su drunk, but each time she refreshes his understanding of her inherently unreliable nature.
The black Bentley passed below Kaixing Mansion without stopping, continuing forward.
Shi Su never dreamed she’d be taken back to the Jing Family while being so drunk.
When they returned to the Jing Family, it was late at night; everyone in the front hall had already retired to their rooms to rest.
Mr. Li, knowing Jing Jihan was back, came to the front yard to greet him, seeing Shi Su asleep, very muddled in the car, yet being carried out by Jing Jihan himself. Mr. Li stood aside, smiling in silence.
"The old man asleep?" Jing Jihan glanced at Mr. Li.
Mr. Li smiled, "Not yet asleep, he should be listening to some music in his room, but Miss Shi Su’s current condition isn’t fit for visiting him; better to meet tomorrow, send her to rest first."
The smell of alcohol on Shi Su was quite obvious.
As Jing Jihan was about to leave holding Shi Su, Mr. Li suddenly whispered, "Madam and Miss Si Xue’s rooms are in the loft opposite your villa. The lights haven’t gone out, so they are probably still up."
Hearing this, Jing Jihan gave Mr. Li a meaningful look; Mr. Li, showing a face of understated accomplishment, nodded slightly and said nothing more.
Meanwhile, in Jing Sixue’s room, Mrs. Jing, standing by the window, saw from afar Jing Jihan walking back from the front yard, carrying a young girl. He crossed the path between this loft and the opposite villa, carrying her into the villa.
At this angle, one couldn’t clearly see the face of the person in his arms, only that for years no woman could approach Jing Jihan, yet he unabashedly carried this girl. The girl’s hand was even wrapped around his neck—unmistakably intimate.
"Mom, what’s wrong?" Jing Sixue, seeing her standing by the window with her face suddenly turning cold, stood up and walked over.
Mrs. Jing abruptly drew the curtains, "Nothing, the outside lights are somewhat glaring."
Jing Sixue gazed at the tightly closed curtains for a moment, then softly asked, "Was it Jihan who came back?"
"Go to sleep," Mrs. Jing replied gently.
Jing Sixue nodded, glanced again at the tightly shut curtains, and after a moment of silence, said no more.

"What are you doing... Where is this..." Shi Su, bewildered, was brought into a bedroom in the Jing Family. She opened her eyes, glanced around, finding it somewhat familiar, like she’d been here before but couldn’t recall where exactly.
Jing Jihan tossed her onto the bed. Though he didn’t throw her hard, Shi Su fell backward into the soft center of the bed and instinctively fluttered back up to a standing position at the bed’s edge, asking again, "What is this place?"
The man, unbuttoning his alcohol-scented shirt, looked at the intoxicated, clueless little woman and said in a deep voice, "Drunk like this, if I truly sold you off, you might even help others count the money."
Shi Su stood by the bed staring at him, "Huh? You want to sell me?"
Jing Jihan’s temple pulsed; he didn’t want to talk to a drunk. Turning to step into the bathroom to fetch a towel to wipe her face clean, he hadn’t even gotten in when suddenly Shi Su leaped at him from behind, wrapping her arms around his waist and whining, "Don’t be mad... don’t be mad... even though... hic... even though I’m drunk... I know you’re Jing Jihan... I won’t mistake it... hic... no one can sell me off... I’m not that dumb... hic..."
"Let go, I’m going to get a towel." Jing Jihan glanced down at the hands wrapped around his front.
"No, I won’t." Shi Su stayed glued to his back, feeling comfy, she wouldn’t let go.
"Will you let go?"
"I won’t!"
Jing Jihan grasped her hands that were wrapped around him, turned around just to speak, and the intoxicated young woman unexpectedly tiptoed and gave him an impromptu kiss on the lips—
