365 Days To Love-Chapter 197 - ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY -SEVEN: Blackmailing Sophia.
"Simple instructions given to you,and yet you couldn’t do such a simple task and here you talk to me about the remaining money?’’Sophia asked.
She’s enraged at the fact that none of her plans went through, and right now the stupid excuse of the person who she hired to kidnap Hazel,was asking for the remnant of the money.
Does she think this is some joke or what?
Not only did she fail in the task given to her,she had gone along to think she could blackmail her into giving her the other half.
Oh! Vanessa doesn’t know who exactly she was messing with, because if she did?
She would think properly,before thinking that she would have a peaceful life after what she’s doing.
Two days had not only come as a surprise to her,but a whole lot of drama had occurred in her absence that she regretted not being at home when it all occurred.
She found out who Hazel’s parents were through her husband, and not only was that a slap to her face for underestimating Hazel,and calling her a gold digger in the first place.
Maybe,this was karma coming back to attack her, but she’s sure from now on Hazel won’t take it lightly with her anymore whenever she annoys her.
Hazel had this unquenchable fire burning in her whenever she’s annoyed, and she always lashes at everyone whenever she’s had enough.
But up to this moment, the question that she hasn’t been able to have any answer to was the reason why she saved her that day.
There’s no level of pity that would have pushed her to help her, someone who had on a daily basis tried to get her out of the family house.
Since that time,she had not been herself,and was having second thoughts over the job she assigned to Vanessa,who had in turn, disguised herself as a maid here but didn’t have the opportunity to do away with Hazel.

And she won’t let rest,not for a bit until she’s dealt with her for thinking she can walk all over her, without having any second thoughts who she was messing with.
Besides,this was killing two birds with one stone. Nathan is attracted to her,and her husband still had some issues to sort out with her father.
But Killing Hazel, was going to put a stop to the friendship her dad had with Ezekiel.who always thinks that he’s always a good man,and her husband in turn,was nothing but the prodigal son.
But all these wouldn’t happen anymore, there’s no getting rid of Hazel anymore, there’s also not creating an enmity between both families through her.
Most importantly, there’s no rest for her or her demons until she has done dealing with Hazel.
Just the mere sight of the girl on that day walking into the house in all her glory as if she’s some queen,made her know that she was a big opponent in the future.
Just like she had speculated,Avery had used her to show off to the council of elders,and right now she couldn’t help but laugh at Avery.
The wedding didn’t push through anymore,and all her hard work for it has been in vain, moreover, ruining the family’s image to the outside world.
A whole lot of reporters were outside,and there’s a whole lot of reactions stirring up from the citizens about the reason why the wedding was called off.
A lot of good and bad comments were made about Hazel,and maybe, leaking out the reason for all these when the family hasn’t made up their mind to do so was going to help?
She just needs something to help calm her nerves down,she’s annoyed at the fact that there’s no information on when Hazel and her runaway fiance would be back.
Judging from what Nathan had said, after watching the moment she had with her mother and Father,she’s sure they won’t be back anytime soon.

Hazel has always been the one she wanted,and right now her mind is in haywire over her meal that had gone on a vacation without a due date to come back.
Avery had always been the one who had her attention for years now,until she came.But right now,Hazel was a much bigger threat to her.
She despises her.

Not even Elijah nor Nathan, had any idea that she planned anything with Vanessa,they were going to be such a big opposition.
But at this moment in time, Vanessa is getting her to snap and if she does,she wouldn’t be spared,not at all.
"I would advise you to be careful with your tone young lady,it never ends well for those who threaten me"Sophia warned.
Vanessa might have taken alcohol,and that’s the reason why she wasn’t scared of her,she rather laughed at her words instead of doing as others always do when a Knight is involved.
"I don’t think you are in any position to be making orders ma, because you see i have our every conversation recorded and i don’t mind wrapping it up as a present to give Hazel"
"Don’t you dare!"
At this moment, Sophia knew that the games had changed,she tried to doubt her words,but she didn’t know her too well to say that she was just bluffing.
"Am a business woman Sophia,I know when a game is off,and right now,I won’t be such a fool to walk away empty handed after staying in that house for weeks"Vanessa said, throwing her cigarette out of the window of the car she was in.
"It was your strategy not mine!you have no right to blame me for a job that you carelessly didn’t do,and now you threaten me?"She scoffed,"You wouldn’t want to me pisse off Vanessa"
"Try me Sophia,we had a deal that i get my money ...
"You get money for a job that you didn’t do"Sophia reminded, walking up and down her room while thinking of the best way to lure Vanessa into her trap.
She’s nothing but an ungrateful fellow that took half of her money,and was still demanding payment for a work she didn’t do.
"It’s not my fault that her fiance was literally by her side for every goddamn seconds!"
"You kill them both!"
"And risk my life by killing Zaiden Knight, that’s a suicide mission"Vanessa proclaimed, she must be insane to think that she would ever try that.
"And mine isn’t a suicide mission?you aren’t afraid of me to ...."
"I stayed there long enough to find out that you are nothing but a puppet,like who the hell do you think you are ?"
This Statement had Sophia clenching her hands tightly.she saw red.
If she thought Hazel’s insult was too much she was nothing but a liar,Vanessa’s words hit her directly without any proof, to protect her from the hurt it caused her.
At that moment,she knew she had a new prey to hunt down,and nothing was going to change the fact that she had to remove Vanessa from the picture.
A long pause was heard between the two of them,which gave Vanessa the initiative that she was having a change of mind.
"Fine,I would give you the remaining money"
"That’s a good decision you made there, Sophia,"Vanessa complimented.
She chose the proper words that would make her stop being such a blabbermouth, and do the needful as someone who is being threatened.
"But on one condition?"Sophia said,with a deadly smile on her face.
"Which is?"
"You have something that would require me confirming firstly, before giving you the money"
"Fine"Vanessa conceded to her request.
"I would choose the location,and would call you after I’ve done that"
"We have a deal Sophia"
"I hope you know that too,and don’t think of outsmarting me this time around"Sophia reminded her.
"With all pleasure,Mrs.Knight"Vanessa said lastly,which was indirectly to mock her before cutting the call.
Sophia threw her phone angrily on top of the bed,her actions had come back to backfire on her,but it’s all for the best.
It’s being a while she hunted,and stupid Vanessa had offered herself willingly on her dinning table to feast upon.
She wants money,and that she would get but she won’t be alive to enjoy any of that.
Just as they say,Money is the root of all evil and she would do the earth a huge privilege by getting rid of someone like Vanessa.
She would gladly do that.
