365 Days To Love-Chapter 180 - ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY:A Creature In Their Midst.
The trip back to the house was a peaceful one for grandpa,but as soon as he stepped his feets into the gates of his house,he couldn’t forget what his family members went through these few days of his absence.
In just a week of him leaving,Zaiden gets involved with that plastic bimbo of an ex,his first son was nearly stripped of his title of the company.
He had filled him in on everything that happened,which made it known to him that things were just getting started and there’s nothing he can do to solve any of this,as long as Elijah was still in the picture.
None of them, including Chris,the Chief of staff, knew the whereabouts and reason for his sudden trip,just when the wedding ceremony of his son was nearby.
He could tell Zaiden was annoyed after talking on the phone with Hazel, because he actually thinks he went for a vacation when his house is on fire.
Would he be a responsible man if he did that?
He went to look for Megan’s family,his dead secretary which it’s part of his fault that she’s dead.
After thoughts of the reason why everything seems not to be going smoothly in the family,he had to think of going to meet Elijah’s maternal home.
Elijah was his son,and there’s nothing that was going to change that,but he knew that was the problem here because just like his suspicion still grew each passing day,he can’t help but think of the fact that he already knew that he was an illegitimate child.
Maybe,that’s the only reason why he would think of going against everything he had worked so hard for,and not only that Ezekiel had exactly pinpointed that out as the reason why he’s going soft on him.
He thinks he’s scared of leaking the secrets out,but that’s not the point of him doing that.
He believes in a united family,and has strictly forbidden the idea of letting others know about this information because he treasures the unity each and every one of them shared.
But that was not possible anymore,since after Susan’s arrival which had turned Elijah into something else that wasn’t describable.
Which leads him with no other option than to do the needful,just like he had prohibited Ezekiel from doing a long time ago.
What made his trip more interesting, was the fact that he found out something interesting from Megan’s mother.
Mrhab had lied in the first place that she was an orphan which he didn’t know if the company did a personal check on her,before she was accepted into the company as his secretary.
Nevertheless,her mother had made it known to him that her brother was hellbent on punishing him for a crime he didn’t commit.
Megan commited suicide which was the truth,but he had covered up at that moment because Kehlani was killed through food poisoning by her.
He had wrapped everything up,and Megan was not mentioned in the picture aside from her death,which occurred two days after she killed Kehlani.
The bitch was so obsessed with him,that she had threatened to kill herself even after finding out that she could never have him, amidst his wife’s death.
Yeah,he did have a one thing fling with her,which had been as a result of the drugged drink she served him,which resulted in the birth of Elijah.
He had hidden her away from Kehlani,knowing fully well how crazy Megan was,and had threatened him using the baby in her womb to get some of his attention.
But all of that was made clear to her,the moment he made it clear to her,on the very day she gave birth to Elijah.
He was born two days after the birth of Ezekiel,before his psycho of a mother poisoned Kehlani’s food in the hospital.
And just as he had known that she was too crazy and might harm his son,Elijah ,he took him away from her,the bitch committed suicide right outside his family house for reasons known to her.
Left with the heavy weight of training up his two sons, after the death of both patents which left a huge toll on him.
He didn’t involve Megab in Kehlani’s case as the one who was involved for her death,that has been the least respect he gave to her as a result of her being the mother of his second son.
But that had been a mistake, because it had turned back to backfire on him because her brother was not thinking in the same direction,and had decided to avenge his sister’s death.

He knew that Megan’s brother, appearing in his life right now,was going to spoil a whole lot of things which he didn’t know if he had started yet.
Which was what made him come back early,to stay on the lookout for him to appear,who knows if he was the reason for all these things that was happening.
And also,who knows whether he had met Eliah yet ?and convinced him enough that he was the one incharge for his real mothers death.
Elijah was not someone who was easy to manipulate,and there’s absolutely no way he would think of joining hands with his evil uncle, without any evidence or without him finding out on his own.
If truly,he had found out that he’s an illegitimate child,and that’s the reason why he’s being such a prodigal son,the question now was,how did he find out?
Ezekiel had found out since he was thirteen, when he had overheard his conversation with the chief of staff,and he’s the only one aside from both of them that knows.
So,how the hell did he get to find out?
Moreover,why has he not confronted him about it and made it known to him that he knew who his biological mom was?
Why is he keeping it a secret?
Who else knows about this aside from him?
Has he told Nathan and Sophia already?
Was this the reason why Nathan suddenly changed too?
The questions couldn’t stop coming,but there’s no definite answer for all of them which he plans on finding out tonight. After dinner,everyone would have to know the secret he had been keeping for years.
The house was quieter than he expected,so he didn’t need to figure out where everyone went . The wedding is just in two days’ time,so that’s the reason everyone is super busy.

A sigh escaped his lips, because he couldn’t get over the tightening in his chest when he remembered what the day after tomorrow was.
There’s this huge scary feeling in him about that wedding,and he couldn’t stop thinking about it.
The murderer was still out there,no!
The detective had made ot known to him that the murderer was a cannibal,but there’s no reason why any of his family members would be so gross to be one.
If one of them living with him is a cannibal,why did it take too long for the person to come out of its hiding place?
Also, what’s the reason for the sudden action?what triggered the person to do that?
That was a useless question to ask, because just as he’s a human being who requires water and food to survive,a cannibal needs to survive too.
But the fear of whosoever that it was killing any of his family members,made it uncomfortable for him, because he’s not ready to lose any of his loved ones again.
He heard the whispers climbing from a corner,which was from the kitchen,which made him remember Sophia was at home.
He stood up, and walked up to the door only to hear incoherent words coming from Sophia to someone on the phone.
He really cussed the reason why he made everywhere in the house to be sound proofed,who knows when the murderer would strike again?
The door was opened before him,and when Sophia looked up to see him,she gasped in shock wondering if he heard her conversation with Vanessa,but she doubted that, because the look on his face said otherwise.
"Father,you are back"She said,trying to keep up a smiling face,which he nodded his head at her words before going back to the sitting room,with her following behind.
He’s in no mood for her,but maybe talking to her would help release the burden off his chest,and also it wasn’t a bad idea if he sets a test himself to catch the cannibal himself,he can’t rely on the cops any longer.
"Should i have lunch set up for you,father?’’Sophia asked, standing in front of him,as he studied her from head to toe in a manner which she didn’t like,before shaking his head in denial.
"Have a seat Sophia,and let’s talk,it’s been a while i get to have a conversation with my daughter in-law"He said,and saw her quake her eyebrow at him,as if she didn’t hear him right.

Something was wrong which she knew, because there’s absolutely no way William Knights would consider her a human being,talkmore of being his daughter in-law.
"What’s it about Father?’’She asked,sitting down with her hands on her thighs,while keeping that pretentious smile up her face.
"I have a creature walking in our midst that’s the reason for this mess we’re in"He started, he saw her frowning at his words.
"Creature? I don’t understand,"She asked,rubbing her eyes,as the old man shifted in his seat,and crossed his left leg over the other,before looking into the anxious eyes of Sophia.
"Someone ate up the guard,and that someone is living under the same roof with me,Sophia".
