365 Days To Love-Chapter 179 - ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-NINE: Nothing But A Stranger!
Hazel questioned the reason why she agreed to meet up with Susan, when she had done more than enough in telling her some worthless news that made her neatly fall to the ground, after the second phase of dizziness bugged her.
"Are you okay, child?"She heard the sweet voice of her saviour, who had her arm in a tight grip to keep her ass from touching the floors.
She thanked heaven for saving her through this woman, because the attention that would come her way if she had eventually passed out here would have been another big news.
It’s just two days away from her wedding, and everything seems to be going sideways ever since she stepped out today.
Maybe she should have listened to Avery like the good girl she was, doing that wouldn’t have given Susan the privilege to tell her this.
She didn’t know what to feel at this point after hearing Susan, aside from abject hatred and anger for whosoever it was that pushed her out through her vagina. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
She didn’t know what exactly and where exactly Susan stood,I mean, just like she had expected, the bitch would be so delighted to pass this news to her.
This was like God answering her long life prayer,to keep her way from Lady Morgana, but what’s the use of her doing all these now when she’s not here anymore at the orphanage?
She regained her strength and vision to leave, but remembered the woman who still had her arms while watching her carefully.
"Do you need my help out of here? Can you be able to walk? Should i call nine-one-one?"The kind woman asked again,at the lady who she didn’t see her face, because of the way she held onto the nearby chair to support herself.
"I’m fi...’’Hazel’s statement was cut short, when she turned to come face to face with an exact carbon replica of her, which made her question if today had been nothing but trouble to her?
"Child...you .."The woman was lost of words to say at the moment, when she saw the face of the lady who she helped.
Her face.
Her eyes, nose, everything was clearly the exact same features Isabella Brown had.
Was it possible that her child.....
"Hazel,stop.."They both turned to where the voice came from, only to come face to face with a fear and guilt ridden face of Susan, who wished for the ground to open up and swallow her whole.
Haxel wasn’t stupid, she knew what was going on,and anyone who had a good vision although hers was failing at the moment, could tell that she just just met her mother.
The woman who she had been praying all her life never to meet, because she had added nothing meaningful to her life, which was not sitting on a time frame.
She was standing on a shaky edge, which she’s going to lose control of soon, maybe not even a month’s time would be enough, seeing that the symptoms are coming back, much more painful than before.
"You...’’Isabella pointed at the Nun, who placed her two hands together in a pleading way while asking for forgiveness.
Was this real,or some sort of dream?
Susan did nothing to hide her guilty face, what would you have her do when the two just met in a really complicated situation?
Even a blind man can see the similarities both mother and daughter shared,so,what’s the use of lying further when the truth is out by itself.
But this wasn’t the way she had pictured the both to meet, she had run after Hazel to convince her enough ,so that when she finds her mother she wouldn’t be on any loose end for lying to her that she was dead.
This coffee shop was only a few meters away from the orphanage, which she could tell that the woman was headed there, before she stopped by to have a coffee.
The look on Hazel’s alone should have rendered her dead, if her eyes were guns, because she just messed things up for her, at least for the sake of their relationship, she should have pretend when she saw both of them.
No!
That’s a capital no for Susan.
She can’t just do this anymore, she can’t live with the guilt of what Hazel requested of her to do,she can’t do that anymore.
The constant insomnia and restless mind was enough punishment for her greedy ass, which made her blow the cover off, while hoping Hazel’s mother doesn’t take this far by involving the police in what she just did.
She doesn’t want to go to jail.
Hazel took off in hasty steps, away from the restaurant with tears cascading down her face, she didn’t want to stay there any longer,it’s so suffocating.
She could hear her name being called by the woman as she ran after her,she didn’t deserve to call her by her real name which she shouldn’t have known, had it been Susan wasn’t a loose mouth.
"Ma’am , are you okay?’’Her driver asked for the second time today, this time he didn’t have any reason not to believe his instincts that something was wrong here.
Looking at her back,to see some woman coming their way, while calling the young Miss’s name,he turned to tell her of her.
"Give me the keys’ ’Hazel demanded, she saw him quake his eyebrows in a confused manner,as if he was deaf and didn’t hear what she just said.
"Ma’am,I haven’t seen you drive, and besides i was instructed not to let you out ...."
"GIVE ME THE FUCKING KEYS,RIGHT NOW!!"Hazel yelled, and snatched it out of his hand which he released the moment he heard her outburst.
She shut the car door the minute she was in,cleaning her face with the palm of her hand, which was totally useless because the tears never seemed to stop.
She took out her phone and turned it off,and that’s when her attention went to the window when her said mom was knocking, and saying shits which she didn’t care to know.
"Leave me alone!"She yelled at her,not caring to know whether she heard her or not, but she knew quite well her behaviour alone towards her would tell her that she was not needed at the moment.
Not at the moment, but at the remaining time she had left on earth, because she could promise her that nothing would make her give her the attention she wanted.
She could go to hell for all she cared!
She put the keys into the ignition, starting the car when she saw her driver talking to someone, which she knew that he was talking to nobody but Zaiden.
She drove off in a blink of an eye,out of the town where she called home eighteen years ago, which was also the place where she met someone annoying that was going to affect her life in the next coming days, which she didn’t know off.
Eighteen years,Eighteen good years of nothing, she didn’t come for her during those times when she was lost, and needed someone to help her.
She didn’t come for her, when she needed someone to assure her that nothing was going to happen to her, when she got the first test that she was diagnosed with brain cancer.
Yeah, she knew that there was no point in someone trying to make her believe that nothing was going to happen, not after what the doctor told her.
But it would have given her immediate relief if she had someone to talk to about it.After all,the doctor said that her disease was a hundred percent chance that she inherited it.
Which means that someone from either her mother or father’s sides, was also suffering the way she is or maybe might have died already if she’s not mistaken.
The fairy godmother wouldn’t have been so merciful,to visit her family members and give whosoever it was the privilege which she’s enjoying right now.
She was driving in circles, which she couldn’t blame herself, the emotional damage which she’s passing through at this moment would make one lose his or her mind.
Her car came to a halt with it’s tires screeching loudly against the floors,as she yelled at herself before bringing her head down on the steering wheel.
"This isnt...happe..Ning ’’She cried, raising her head up to dishevel her hair in a really frustrating manner.
"THIS ISN’T HAPPENING!"She yelled a second time, not caring about the headache that accompanied the shout.
Maybe it’s all a good idea if she dies?
Right?
"Maybe,it’s for the best if you died"She mumbled to herself, picking at her nails to think of something to keep her mind off of that woman.
"she never cared,so why would she fucking show up now,and act like she deserves a place in your life?"She added, cleaning her face for the second time to stop the tears.
No!
"You have to be strong Hazel"She said, motivating herself"whatever it is she’s doing has nothing to do with you,She’s nothing but a stranger!"She spat.
With all seriousness in her being, she’s not planning on changing that anytime soon,Hazel Blackwood is an orphan, Nothing more, Nothing less!
