Staring at the mirror,Hazel smiled that there weren’t any scars although the area was still blazing red but there wasn’t any pain.
He had given her a soothing cream to apply daily on the affected area,and had assured her everything would be back to normal before her wedding day.
Which was what she was worried about,she didn’t want to look this way on her special day.
Needless to think about all those,Avery had gone out of her lane to serve her the best of all breakfast in front of everyone this morning.
Excluding Nathan, who didn’t have breakfast alongside the rest of the family which got worried.
She hadn’t seen him around that much,including after waking up after the accident,he’s been unusually distant towards her and it made her curious to know exactly what was wrong.
Nathan wasn’t one who stayed in his own lane,it’s like she knew he derived pleasure playing silly games on her,and his unusual care for her,she knew he was not as heartless as he looked.
Recalling back to a few weeks ago,He and Zaiden had nearly fought in front of her,she didn’t need any soothsayer to tell her what the fight was all about.

Hazel was confused, because the least she could remember that night was a face which was blurry making it impossible for her to exactly say who the perpetrator was.
She knew she saw the face,but whenever she tried to think harder,the headaches set in which doctor ken had advised to take things slowly and not stress her brain.
He had assured her, she would definitely remember but it would take time depending on how fast she could recover fully.
"Does that mean no drugs anymore?"Hazel asked when she remembered the medicines that were given to her.
Yearning to hear that they weren’t of any use anymore, because Zaiden had made it his top priority to watch her take the drugs in Front of him when he figured out she didn’t like medicines.

Turning to see Mrs.Knights rummaging through the medicines that was given to her to make sure she didn’t skip anyone,she saw the smile on the woman’s face and shook her head in disbelief.
It was not a joke when she said she was obsessed with her.Like,it was barely twelve in the afternoon and they were waiting for Sunny and her designer to get here but she had asked her if she was hungry.
She was hungry due to the fact that her mother inlaw turned her into a vegetarian,denying her any meat from the salivating meal that was served this morning.
Even when she had kept an unhappy look at the dining table, Zaiden tried to steal some out to give her later but who was he kidding?
Mrs.Knights noticed what the two were up to,and snatched the food away from Zaiden’s hand while lecturing her on the need to get on the best diet.
She would have said yes when she asked if she was hungry but knowing what she was offering made her lie, besides she had an option.
Sunny was coming over, and she had chipped her in on what was happening,so,she was getting chicken wings for her.
She can’t starve herself to death, just because she was preparing herself for the wedding of the year, just like Avery had enthusiastically said this morning.
She just couldn’t wait to taste those chicken Sunny was bringing over, she should be here by now?
Checking her phone to sigh when she hadn’t seen her call,she heard the doctor talking and remembered he was still here.
"I don’t think that would be a good idea,you see you can’t just stop taking the medicines because you seem fine,there might still be some complications that.."
"Complications like what?’’Avery joined the conversation,keeping a serious face at the doctor’s words.
"No need to be scared yet,she just needs to finish taking the medicines as it had been prescribed to avoid any future drama before the wedding"Doctor said looking at Hazel who seemed to suspect that something was wrong with him before he looked back at Avery, smiling to calm her down.
Closing his luggage,he turned to the two women,his eyes staring longingly at Hazel before he bowed to Avery and left the room.
"Don’t you feel that he’s hiding something?Avery was the first to speak up, trying not to think that doctor ken might be what she thinks it is that he was trying to do.
He’s been the family doctor for years,so there’s no way he could be keeping secrets away from them.
Hazel knew something was wrong about the way the doctor was acting after checking her this morning,but she couldn’t pinpoint exactly what his problem was.
Just as if she was trying to agree with Avery that truly he sounded strange,the wildest imagination of Doctor Ken finding out about her disease crossed her mind.
How could she have forgotten so soon that he was a doctor? And he’s bound to find out that something was wrong with her as much as she seems fine on the outside.

Was this the reason he was talking about complications?
She hadn’t been able to feel any strange symptoms regarding her illness, because her time was not up yet,but still he’s a doctor and he might have found out through the numerous tests he ran on her.

She blamed herself for feeling too relaxed about all these,yeah the last few days he was here he was acting like himself but today,just a few seconds ago,he was acting strange while looking at her.
Would he tell the family about her disease?
How sure is she that it was what it is she thinks that was making him act weird?

If truly he did know about her disease,why didn’t he tell Mrs Knights immediately? But chose to leave everyone in confusion on what was the matter with him.
Taking of Mrs.Knights,she knew the woman would not give up that easily when she’s suspicious about matters concerning her,so she did what she had to do to calm her down.
"I don’t think he’s any different with his attitude today,maybe he’s stressed. Hazel tried changing Avery’s mind from the doctor.
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yes,honestly speaking i think he’s right in what he said,about complications arising before the wedding if i stopped taking my drugs just because I look fine.I guess i have to listen to my doctor"Hazel said sarcastically, laughing as Avery went back to her normal mood she was before.
The ever so enthusiastic Mother in-law who couldn’t wait for her wedding.
She would think of what to do about Doctor ken, in his next visit in two days time if truly it was what she thinks it is that was making him act that way.
But she hoped,let it not be what she thinks it is.
How is she going to stop him from telling on her if he found out?

"Okay,I will be upstairs if you need me. ’’Avery said smiling and picked her head before leaving her room,as Hazel sprang up from her bed in full force when her phone rang for the second time.
Sunny was just impatient,but she was really impatient about meeting her too, especially when she had free liberty to eat her chicken wings without Avery’s disturbance.
She said she would be upstairs if she needed her,well no! She didn’t need her at the moment.

Rushing out of her room with hasty footsteps in happiness over Sunny’s arrival,she didn’t notice Sophia’s presence in the sitting room due to her over excitement.
She pushed the door open to see Sunjy standing outside with the heavily armed guards asking her silly questions.

"Girl,you look stunning and why’s your forehead stark red?"Sunjy asked examining her from head to toe, gasping at her own imagination before asking"Did he do that?"
"Did he do what? Who’s he?"Hazel asked, not understanding what she meant,until Sunny folded her two arms.
"No,he’s not barbaric,we are good, ’’Hazel smiled,rubbing her palms at the thoughts of Zaiden.
