His name,just like he was told by his dad before they stepped their foot inside the place they were meeting him.
Nathan heard the man’s voice, as he cheered about how excited he was about meeting them,before he turned to face both father and son.
He looked quite young unlike someone who was really aged,that made Nathan question his dad with his eye movement if he was sure if really he’s the uncle he was talking about.
He really didn’t like the idea of meeting him and that has been the main reason that everything he does and sees about the man irked him.
Well,it only takes time to get to know exactly what his supposed uncle wanted from them.
What also added to his interest, in having this meetup was the fact that he was curious to know who exactly was his dad’s real mother.
The story was made clear to him when his dad had told him he was an illegitimate child,now standing in front of them was the maternal family of his dad.
Elijah looked at Nathan, because he was taking time to introduce himself to Mr.Henderson,and he wondered what exactly was going on in his mind.
This wasn’t the right time, for him to be having any second thoughts about this meetup,his uncle was willing to help them and that was all that matters.
Cole understood what was happening between the two,he coughed to bring them back to reality that they were wasting his time.
He was a businessman and he won’t allow anyone to mess up with his time, regardless of them being family or not.
He liked Nathan from just the mere appearance, coupled with the fact that he was smart unlike his dad who had actually put his whole trust on him , simply because he was his uncle.
His son would be a hard nut to crack, but that won’t be any problem any time soon , because everything he had planned out would be for the good of everyone.
Well,that is if they were willingly to play along with him,Nathan wasn’t wrong in getting suspicious of him.
Who wouldn’t do that?
The world is a dangerous place, and it’s really difficult to trust nowadays so it actually wasn’t a bad idea that he was taking things carefully.
Rather,it intrigued him to know more about grand nephew who was smart but yet had foolishly turned soft because of a woman.

Nathan noticed the bewildered look on his father’s face over this unruly character and that of his uncle,who he figured out was relaxed and waiting for him to make the first move.

His uncle could read him well,yet he wasn’t affected but rather it was his father who was on the verge of exploding for making him look stupid, after standing for ages simply, because he was taking things slow with his uncle.
Stretching forth his right hand out with a grin forming at his lips,he could hear his dad give out a relaxed breath he was holding when he introduced himself to his uncle.
"I’m Nathaniel Knights,Nice meeting you...."He drew the sentence not knowing what to call him.
He’s definitely not calling him uncle,not yet, because as much as his dad was feeling enthusiastic about this whole meet up.He wasn’t anything special, rather than the fact that he was his uncle who abandoned him, showed up out of the blue insisting to meet his family.
How dramatic.he didn’t know his father would be too cheap to believe anything he said that made him trust him.

He appeared out of the blues after years of hiding the fact that he was his uncle, there was certainly a reason altogether for him coming into their lives now.
If this was about the company,Nathan was sorry about his ass because there’s no way he’s leaving his heritage for some old man who’s out for revenge because of his dead sister.
Well, yes,his sister might be his dead grandma but that got nothing to do with what he actually wanted.
All he wanted was the company,and yes before he forgets,Hazel too.
So,he’s interested in aiding him to have any revenge on his grandpa who was getting suspicious of him every single day.
A brilliant idea came into his mind,as he found himself smiling which his stupid uncle took it that he was finally catching up with him and took his outstretched hands in his.
"Cole Henderson,your grand uncle,Nice to meet you nephew"The old man smiled, showcasing his brown teeth that were stained by his constant smoking.
Does he know that it was bad for his health?
It crossed Nathan’s mind to tell him about his abnormal lifestyle,but he himself was no saint either,so he dropped the idea to do that.
Rather,he was too happy and excited about his idea about this whole meetup. His dad might have gotten too soft because his real uncle appeared out of the blue with the promise to help them.
But trust was an important issue altogether while dealing with a business man,and just with a single glance at his uncle,he knew the old man was up to something.
If he needed his revenge that bad, he could have gone out full force openly and attacked grandpa,why look for other ways to do that if not the fact that he too was looking for who to take the blame after everything works out?
Why does he suddenly need their help?
Sometimes,he just couldn’t understand his father,it’s not as if the both of them could not figure things out for themselves but adding a third party who he blindly trusted didn’t sound appealing to him.
Relax Nathan.
He told himself,trying to cool down and listen to what he has to say first,he was already bored of this family meet up.
He expected better and not some old man who didn’t know he was already dying fro the intake of tobacco daily.

How is his dad sure that he’s his uncle?
This question crossed his mind,yeah things could get complicated if anyone heard from his late mother that he was an illegitimate child and might try to use them to fulfill his selfish needs.
"It’s a pleasure.."Nathan replied,tilting his head to stare creepily at the old man who suddenly didn’t like the look on his face"Uncle"He said,more like mocked.
Elijah bursted out laughing clapping his hands to stop whatever it is Nathan was trying to do,which Cole joined sooner looking away from Nathan to Elijah.
"I like him already"He uttered,patting his shoulder"I like him"
"Thank you, Uncle"Nathan replied cutely,while hiding the scorn on his face over what he had for his so-called uncle.
He didn’t like the man.
He didn’t,not for once did he try to consider the fact that he was his real family.
Yeah,he might regret it,but being an illegitimate son of the Knights was much better than being the nephew of someone who was hiding under the shadows,who only suddenly appeared, sounding so creepy for someone who was excited to meet his family.
At least,Grandpa doesn’t remind him daily that he was not a real son of the family, due to the fact that he was trying to keep the secrets hidden away from Zaiden and from the public.
But that wouldn’t last long because seeing this man who was talking to his dad,he knew it wouldn’t be long before everyone gets to find out about the ugly past of William Knights,the chairman of Knight’s Empire.
Throughout the dinner,Nathan tried to act as if he was cool with his uncle,meanwhile his dad was the one who was more excited about this whole arrangement.
Why won’t he be?
Someone was finally on his side,but he couldn’t sit to think of the fact of this new family member that gets him excited trying to use him for something else.
Well,time would tell.
His true colors would soon come to light with time,who was he kidding?
He’s dealing with Nathan Knights, so he should be careful if he had any silly plans up his sleeves apart from the one his dad told him.
"’I really had a nice time today, especially seeing Nathan, I’m quite happy,"Mr.Henderson said,while they were now outside with his men holding the car door open.
Nathan gave one of those cute manipulative smiles, of his that had one believing that he was such an angel,which he’s sure his granduncle bought because he smiled back at him.
Turning to Elijah,he patted his shoulders"I will keep in touch"He said,as Elijah nodded.
"Have a safe drive back home"Elijah told him,as he nodded his head,waving at Nathan who reciprocate the gesture back as he entered his car.
Nathan’s smile died down the moment his car was out of view,putting on that same cold face he wore earlier.
"I don’t like him"He said,before his dad could even start with his complaint about his attitude earlier.
"You will get used to it"Elijah replied back,with a cold look on his face too as their driver appeared with their car.
Nathan laughed,so,his dad didn’t trust his uncle too but yet he had played it well in there as if he was not bothered,about the creepy aura that was oozing off his uncle.
Maybe he underestimated his dad too much.
"You are unbelievable dad"He said,entering the car likewise his dad as both men laughed at his words, entering the car oblivious to the figure hiding in the dark a few meters away from them,who secretly took the pictures of their activities with Cole Henderson.
