10,000x Reward Multiplier: Hell-level Kingdom Building-Chapter 11: [0] Perverted Goblin King
Their entire plan to bring down the goblin horde was sabotaged by a simple miscalculation, and the danger of their mission rose several notches in a single second.
Floki half-blamed himself for not thinking of such an obvious trap, especially considering how much he knew about goblins from the novels he had read.
Yet, he did not beat himself up too much. Even if they had successfully killed a goblin or two in their sleep, they would have been swarmed and slaughtered by the other goblins the moment even a tiny noise was made.
In this scenario, fighting a horde you are aware of is better than fending off unseen strikes.

He stopped pondering when the goblins got closer and sprinted toward them fearlessly yet cautiously, his eyes scanning their hands and weapons, trying to capture as much movement as possible to attack and defend properly.
Jabba and Anton snapped out of their initial shock. Before they could attempt to stop him, he had already clashed with the leading goblin.
The almost four-foot, green-pigmented beast was sent flying with a clean kick from Floki, smashing into the two goblins behind it and breaking their formation.
But this led to even more chaos as the other goblins shrieked from the sides, lifted their weapons, and swarmed him.
While he managed to deflect a few strikes, one goblin whipped its crude wooden baton at his stomach, landing a precise blow that made his eyes roll back as he coughed out a mouthful of blood.
The two huge men, seeing this, abandoned their lingering concern for their safety and dove into the horde.
"Don’t you dare hurt young chief!"
Jabba bellowed as he picked up one of the goblins like a toddler, ignoring the hits from two other goblins who began beating his body with their blunt weapons.
He tossed the unfortunate goblin at another two who were running toward Floki, and they crashed to the ground.
Anton arrived in front of Floki and immediately sent the baton-wielding goblin to the ground, though he received a solid hit on his leg in return, which he ignored.
Unlike their young chief, the two brothers were trained hunters and martial artists. Their resistance to pain was much stronger than Floki’s, even though their strength was slightly lacking in comparison.
Floki pulled away from the goblins thanks to Anton’s assistance. Nonetheless, on his left flank, one of the goblins slipped past Anton’s defense and sprang at him with a long piece of wood carved into a spear.
Floki braced himself and swept his hand forward, managing to catch the wooden spear firmly by its handle.
The goblin shrieked in protest as it tried to drag its weapon free, but Floki’s grip was much stronger thanks to his longer digits. He pulled the spear with greater force, claiming it, and without hesitation, he stabbed the goblin in the neck, killing it on the spot.

Before Floki could process his first-ever kill, another goblin, coincidentally wielding a spear like him, clashed with him.
With quick reflexes, aided by the weapon mastery from [Advanced Martial Arts], he expertly redirected the goblin’s spear, causing it to lose its hold before he stabbed it in the chest and killed it.

His second kill brought no rest either. The remaining goblins marked him as a threat and began targeting him.
But he struck fiercely with caution, leaving just enough space to avoid their short-range weapon attacks and strike seamlessly with the wooden spear, which he had begun to grow accustomed to thanks to his skill.
He took down two more goblins.
He now had a total of eight hundred experience points. Originally, he had planned to save them and use them as rewards later, but the current situation did not allow such patience.
Without hesitation, he quickly distributed all the accumulated experience points. Fortunately, the amount was just enough to trigger a level-up, pushing him to level 5.
With the further surge of strength from his new level, he felt his body stabilize, allowing him to deflect and redirect strikes with much more ease than earlier.
This instantly translated into faster kills.
Nonetheless, he discovered that leveling up meant the experience points he earned from the same monster were slightly reduced.

It was unfortunate but expected. The discovery did not bother him for more than a brief moment.
Within five minutes, most of the goblins were put down, leaving only three who fled the moment they realized their situation, as expected considering their craftiness.
Jabba and Anton were already heavily breathing and visibly exhausted, despite not contributing as many kills to the raid, which was understandable. After all, they had no weapons and relied on their bare fists.
Floki took it upon himself to chase down the three goblins.
Escaping was one of the creatures’ greatest strengths. The bushes made it much easier for them.
But Floki’s speed was beyond ordinary human limits. He skipped over bushes and avoided obstacles in his path with such ease that one could even describe him as a monkey.
Nonetheless, the goblins maintained a short lead, fleeing toward a specific location without looking back.
Before Floki realized it, he was stepping inside a cave hidden by thick bushes and shrubs.
The next instant, the heavy sound of stone rolling echoed behind him, and immediately afterward, the entire interior of the cave was drenched in darkness.

Floki halted, his face drained of color, turning completely stoic.
It was the kind of stillness where the soul quietly exits the body for a second.
"...Fuck."
