Ye Lu returned to the banquet, found Ling Yan, claimed she was unwell, and left.

Ling Yan didn’t say anything and seeing her pale face, he helped her leave.

Third Young Master Jun returned to the banquet coldly. Feiyu whispered a few words in his ear, and Third Young Master Jun lowered his eyes.

As the banquet was reaching its conclusion, and the host and guests were enjoying themselves, suddenly several people from Jun Group hurriedly rushed in.

A gleam of dark light flickered in Jun Shi’s eyes.

The few men rushed towards Jun Guanru, shouting, "Sir, there’s trouble! Tian Kun’s main warehouse is on fire—engulfed in flames. The firefighters are doing their best, but the fire is too huge. I’m afraid... I’m afraid it will take some time to extinguish."

The guests were shocked. A fire at a significant company warehouse would entail severe losses. But the most substantial damage would probably be the loss of materials.

All present were renowned entrepreneurs from various industries. Everyone turned to look at the Third Young Master, curious about how he would handle the emergency.

"Feiyu, get me the phone," Third Young Master Jun said, his face icy cold. He took the phone from Feiyu, dialed the number of the person in charge on the scene at Tian Kun, and asked about the situation at the warehouse.

After a round of questioning and command, Third Young Master Jun said coldly, "The flames are so intense, have all the employees on site retreat. Don’t worry about the stored materials, instead focus all energy on rescuing those trapped. I want zero casualties."

Jun Guanru gave a slight nod of approval at this order. A warehouse fire burning the materials indeed held severe losses, but if there were casualties involved, it would be a social news story, severely affecting Jun Group’s reputation.

This kid made decisive decisions when it came to weighing up the options.

"How’s the fire?" asked Jun Shi.

Third Young Master Jun replied coldly, "Several of the main warehouses are on fire. The flames are too vast and are spreading rapidly; it will take at least several hours to extinguish. There’s little hope of preserving the raw materials."

Jun Shi said, "That’s a severe issue then. Tian Kun’s agricultural high-tech project, which has already begun, required the raw materials that are now destroyed by fire. With the ongoing projects halted, beyond the drastic loss, the major problem is our commitments to export contracts for grain with several countries. We can’t proceed now, and if we can’t deliver on time, the compensation will also be considerable, causing a significant blow to Jun Group’s reputation. A rough estimate of the losses from all aspects would be at least 50 billion."

His voice was sarcastic as he shook his head and continued, "You’ve only been in the company a short while, and you’ve already caused such an enormous loss. 50 billion! It’s unprecedented in Jun Group’s history. You’ve thoroughly disappointed us and have seriously damaged the interests of the entire Jun Group."

Bai Sijia’s face paled. She recalled the document she had stolen, which seemed to be about the inventory in Tian Kun. A large shipment of raw materials that the project needed had just arrived recently.
