My Scheming Little Devil

She stepped out, taking a walk by the artificial lake in the hospital where many in-patients were out basking in the sun.

The warm sun shone on Ye Lu, but her heart couldn’t feel the warmth.

A pair of happy married couple walked by, with the wife heavily pregnant, appearing ready to give birth. The husband nervously and carefully supported her, his eyes filled with love.

Ye Lu was taken aback and subconsciously rested her hand on her stomach.

In the end, she turned her head away silently, not liking these scenes of happiness.

"Mommy, why are you here?" Suddenly, a surprised voice rang out from not far away.

Ye Lu felt a bit dizzy, how could she run into her little girl here? It was trouble.

Ye Yiyi ran over with a surprised face: "I called my brother, he said you flew to Grandma’s place and won’t be back for a few days, so why are you here?"

Old Madam Jun heard it, showing even more pleasure as she held her hand.

"Is it true? You’re really pregnant, no wonder I saw you touching your belly, this is great news, our Jun family will have an heir again, four generations under one roof, full of children and grandchildren."

Old Madam was also extremely excited, her eyes staring at her belly like it was gold.

"I looked at you just now, and I guessed you might be pregnant. Though winter clothes are thick and can cover up a lot, I have sharp eyes and spotted my precious great-grandchild’s existence at first sight, haha!"

Ye Lu’s eyes dimmed and she didn’t want to hurt the old lady, but she had no choice.

"I’m sorry, Old Madam, this child is not Third Young Master’s."

Old Madam Jun looked at her in shock, her face full of disbelief: "How is that possible? Whose is it then if not his?"

"You should also know that I was later with Gu Yan. In fact, I was with Gu Yan when I was with Third Young Master. This child is Gu Yan’s, Third Young Master knows about this. You can ask him if you don’t believe me, so as to avoid misunderstanding." Ye Lu said coldly.

Old Madam Jun’s joyful expression completely changed to disappointment.

Despite the disappointment, Old Madam left without saying a word. Ye Lu, however, wanted to leave Ye Yiyi behind to visit her grandmother and Old Madam did not object.

"Mommy, you’re lying to me, I know my brother or sister must be daddy’s, you and daddy are so close, how is it possible that it’s not his?"
