"After I leave, you’ll go to North America with Ling Kong. Don’t come back to China—it’s not safe. North America is the Ji Family’s stronghold; they can protect you!" Third Young Master Jun had already arranged her escape route.

Ye Lu, however, suddenly shook her head, took a deep breath, and said earnestly, "Jun Huang, I want to stay."

Third Young Master Jun’s face changed as he furrowed his brows, "Luer, don’t be willful. You don’t want me to be worried about you."

"But, I feel very uneasy. Didn’t you just get a call saying that godfather arrived? I’m afraid he might harm you. I won’t go with you into the drug lord’s territory; I’ll just stay in this country, maybe move to another city. But I hope to stay closer to you."

She knew it wasn’t suitable for her to stay, but she couldn’t shake a sense of ominous premonition, especially after hearing Su Feiman had arrived. This feeling intensified, making her suspect something unexpected might happen.

She even thought... maybe after this separation, they would never see each other again.
