Mr. Warner, Your Wife is Running Away Again!
Chapter 905: You’ll Manage the Money After We Get Married
After Julian Bishop finished the payment, he saw Seraphina Vaughn directly stuff the watch box into her bag. He asked, "Aren’t you going to wear it?"
Seraphina Vaughn turned around and walked towards the door, saying, "A classmate of mine is having a birthday soon, and I’ve been troubled about what to give. I might as well make this watch a gift."
Julian Bishop couldn’t tell if Seraphina Vaughn said that on purpose or if she really planned to. He didn’t show any unhappy emotions but instead asked, "Do you want to choose one for yourself, then?"
Seraphina Vaughn’s intention was to provoke Julian Bishop. Hearing his words, she herself became annoyed and mockingly replied, "Do you have any money left?"
Julian Bishop gently responded, "I can still afford these small accessories."
Seraphina Vaughn frowned at Julian Bishop, her expression carrying a hint of disdain and skepticism.
She always thought her family was quite well-off, but she wasn’t usually willing to buy things in the seven-figure range. Yet, seeing Julian Bishop’s indifferent demeanor after paying, now making bold claims about "small accessories."
Before knowing Julian Bishop’s identity, she was convinced he was just trying to save face.
But now, she couldn’t help but wonder, how much is this man really worth?
To figure this out, Seraphina Vaughn began to spend freely.
The items she had her eye on before, but didn’t find cost-effective, including clothes, bags, and cosmetics, she bought them all.
After adding up everything, it should be an eight-figure sum.
Now she no longer thought Julian Bishop was pretending, and she understood why he was unmoved when she offered him five million. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
She always believed Julian Bishop was just a minor employee at Shane Warner’s company, but she didn’t expect him to be such a famous designer in the jewelry world.
As evening fell, Julian Bishop carried the bags with ease and asked, "Are you tired of shopping? How about we find a place for dinner, rest a bit, and then continue?"
This time, Seraphina Vaughn didn’t doubt Julian Bishop’s financial power but asked from another angle, "Do you have a lot of little girls kept outside?"
Julian Bishop couldn’t help but laugh, replying, "Girls like you, I can only afford one with some effort. A few more, and I really couldn’t handle it."
Seraphina Vaughn snorted lightly, "Not every girl buys like me. The way you spend so lavishly, it’s obvious you often buy things for girls."
Julian Bishop: "If you’re worried about that, after we get married, you can manage the finances."
"Hmph, I don’t want to manage you..." Halfway through the sentence, Seraphina Vaughn realized something was off and quickly corrected herself, "Who wants to marry you? Spend your money however you like, I don’t care about that little amount."
With that, Seraphina Vaughn stepped quickly towards the restaurant across the street.
A square table not too big nor small, the two sat facing each other.
They ate Chinese food, all of which Seraphina Vaughn ordered, simple home-cooked dishes that go well with rice.
As was her habit, Seraphina Vaughn ate while playing with her phone. Julian Bishop always disapproved of this behavior but didn’t mention it this time, just slowly ate his meal.
As the meal neared its end, Julian Bishop picked up a napkin to wipe his mouth, then spoke to the phone-absorbed Seraphina Vaughn, "How long do you plan to stay here?"
Seraphina Vaughn glanced at Julian Bishop before looking back at her phone, arrogantly saying, "Is it any of your business?"
"It’s not my business, I’m just afraid some people might sneak away in the middle of the night."
