As long as he could buy some time, Gao Yang welcomed negotiations.

"Very well, what do you plan to do to let the hostages go?"

Gao Yang glanced sideways at the doctor who was still performing first aid on Justin, then smiled and said, "Well, sorry, I can’t let them go for now. If they leave, I’ll be shot, so let’s skip that step for now and discuss other terms."

The negotiator nodded and said, "Sure, go ahead."

Gao Yang pondered for a long while, finally saying, "Firstly, I want 1,000,000 Euros in cash, old bills, not new, and not in consecutive numbers."

The negotiator immediately said, "I can relay your demand, personally, I think that can be arranged."

Since it’s stalling anyway, might as well say anything. Pretending to hesitate, Gao Yang said, "And give me a helicopter. Have the pilot park it at the entrance, and I need a hostage to accompany me when I leave. Once I’m safely away, I’ll release the hostages."

Gao Yang laughed heartily, "Bullshit, you know exactly what’s up, buddy. Maybe you don’t know why the government is involved, but you surely know something. You came to meet me, then go out to spin tales to the reporters about today’s incident, right? I know your routines well. You had to meet me because I’ve created such a big scene today that’s put your government in a tight spot."

The negotiator rubbed his eyebrow, sighed, and said, "Sir, if you think like that, then we can’t negotiate. Really, I’m here to help you, mainly to rescue those innocent medical personnel."

Gao Yang laughed, "No worries, no worries at all, let’s chat properly. Buddy, tell me what you know? Do you want to know the inside story? How it all happened, why, the real inside story, huge secrets, absolutely explosive!"

After Gao Yang’s warning, the attack never came. Two minutes later, the doctor suddenly said a few words loudly, then the nurse immediately said, "The surgery is complete, blood flow restored, he won’t suffer brain death."

Gao Yang let out a long breath, saying, "Thank you, all of you, truly thank you."

Just then, several dark objects suddenly flew in through the door, Gao Yang shouted, "Grenade!"

Gao Yang quickly went down, covering his left ear with his left hand, holding the gun in his right and extending it out from the side of the forum. As he executed this set of actions swiftly, immediately there were several loud booms. Even with his eyes closed, Gao Yang could feel the blinding flashes.
