Chapter 1035

While the high tier clash was going on, the others were still fighting with everything they had against the immense army the Otherworlders brought.

When the Dawn forces had first seen the numbers the Otherworlders brought, they were stunned because for an organisation that was feared amongst generations and worlds, the Dawn forces were expecting about a million men.

But the Otherworlders numbered in the hundreds thousands.

But when the battle began, they were instantly proven wrong as the Otherworlders were much more stronger.

Though not that coordinated, they still held a semblance of coordination as the mages and warriors of the groups fought as one while the Dawn forces didn’t imply the same.

Since the warriors and mages of the Dawn forces were just meeting themselves for the first time, they hadn’t fought together before hence the coordination wasn’t there yet.

Not like the Dawn forces were to be joked with as they were pushing with all their might, refusing to back down one bit.

As expected, the clash had spilled all across town and buildings were being toppled like a stack of cards.

While all these was happening, Elara was stumped as she kept blinking at one spot while standing atop a tree branch that was still protruding out of a still standing building.

That was because a few moments ago, Grey had just been standing there and the next second, he was taken away by Gustav.

Even though she saw what happened, she was unable to react in time.

Not even a twitch in muscle when Grey and Gustav vanished together.

"Wh-Where did they go? What’s happening?" Elara muttered confusedly as she kept looking around the place maybe she could see the duo or if maybe they went to another part of town.

But judging as the town was still standing and not yet breaking apart, it meant that they weren’t in this town anymore.

They had teleported to somewhere else.

’Damn. Damn. Damn. Grey is all alone there? Can-Can he handle himself against Gustav?’ Elara wondered in panic.

"What do I do? What do I—"

She paused as she looked up to see Amir deep in battle.

’Yes. He will know what to do.’

...

Leaning aside, Amir brought down his metal sword on the long tongue of a strange beast that looked like it was a crossbred between a frog and a chameleon.

Severing the tongue, he bashed his foot into the beast’s side and from his toes, a long spike jutted out ripping through the beast’s side and spilling its innards.

Quickly snapping his hand forward, his metal sword flashed in place as he batted a wind sword to the side.

Then leaped to the side dodging an ice spear that lunged into the earth.

At that exact moment, the choker around his neck began pulsating while buzzing around his neck.

Quickly crouching down, a wolf leaped over him. It had been aiming to swipe at him with its claws but due to his timely crouch, he avoided it.

Rubbing his thumb on the choker, he grunted:

"What is it?"

Springing to his full height, he breathed for a moment as a panicked Elara’s voice rang out.

"It’s-it’s Grey. He has been taken!"

"..."

Amir froze in shock as he quickly spun around like a sharp broken arrow to glare in the direction of where Grey had been standing moments ago.

He was truly gone.

And in his spot, Elara could be seen with a flustered, panicked look on her face as she stood atop the thick tree branch.

"Taken? By who?!"

Before Elara could answer the question, his head quickly snapped to another spot.

Where Gustav had been sitting, he was gone and instead Zodiac one could be seen sitting on the metallic throne the leader of the Otherworlders sat on a moment ago.

"W-Where did he take Grey to?!" Amir shouted in panic as he glanced upward to the sky.

They weren’t hovering above them, so where had they gone?

"I-I-I don’t know. One moment, the man had been sitting on his throne and the next second, he vanished with Grey."

Amir’s jaws tightened as he could see a rhino type beast using its horn to rip through a Dawn member.

His mind was spinning in confusion.

"No, no, no. Wasn’t it here that was the location of the fight? How are we supposed to help Grey now?"

Elara’s stuttering voice was heard over the network. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

"What if he didn’t want any of us to help Grey that was why he took him away from here?"

"..."

Amir thought for a few seconds then shook his head.

"No. That can’t be right. The two of them are powerful... immensely so and if they had battled here,"

Elara seemed to catch on.

"We could all be caught in their attacks."

"Exactly. So in order not to accidentally wipe his men out, he teleported Grey with him so they could fight privately."

"...."

After a brief pause, Elara’s voice cracked through the chanel.

"Captain, I’m worried..."

"We don’t have to be worried about Grey; I don’t know if he can defeat his father or not. Nor do I know how truly powerful he is but I believe he can handle himself better than anybody can."

Elara vehemently shook her head.

"No. I’m not worried about Grey... Well, I am. But I’m more worried about us."

"Meaning?"

"I mean look at him." Elara said while Amir followed her gaze to spot zodiac one sitting comfortably while watching the chaos unfold.

"... According to what we know, he is the strongest zodiac alive. Look at the others struggling against the other zodiacs. What will now happen if he joins in?"

Amir hesitated for a moment thinking but then shook his head as he could hear stomping sounds heading his way.

Looking back to the battlefield, he could see that same rhino type beast charging his way.

"We will cross that bridge when we get there."

....

Meanwhile, Zodiac one scowled deeply as he stared ahead through space.

"Gustav, where did you go with my meal?"
