Infinite Survival: My 10,000x Return System
Chapter 34: [] Law of Karma
The Sovereign Summit was incredibly quiet and heavy.
It was a place of absolute suffocating silence. But Sylvia Thorne shattered it like a hammer smashing through glass.
"He is your executioner," she declared boldly.
Her pristine silver uniform glowed brightly. Millions of razor sharp ice needles orbited her body as ambient moisture flash froze instantly.
The Sovereign of Karma floated forward.
Her form was an ever shifting mosaic of glowing threads. These threads represented the destinies of a trillion souls. She was a beautiful but horrifying entity.
Her eyes reflected countless lifetimes of suffering and triumph. She looked down at Sylvia with the kind of disdain a human might reserve for a rebellious cockroach.
"You were a useful vessel once, little cauldron," the Karma Sovereign hissed.
Her voice was layered with ancient venomous malice. "A battery meant to be drained. And now you dare stand before the architect of your fate? I wrote the curse into your very soul. I own you."
Sylvia didn’t flinch at all.
She wasn’t the terrified and agonizingly pained Headmistress of the Vanguard Bastion anymore. She was the Grand Mage of the Omniverse.
More importantly, she was backed by an Emperor who had literally rewritten her reality!
Behind her, Arthur Sterling leaned casually against the balcony railing of the Ebon Citadel. His dark eyes gleamed with predatory anticipation.
He didn’t even draw his sword. He didn’t need to.
He just tapped his finger against the metal railing and brought up his system interface.
"System," Arthur whispered softly. "Target the glowing sewing machine. Let us tap her data."
[Ding!]
[Target Identified: Heavenly Sovereign of Karma.]
[Initiating Proxy Binder.]
An invisible ethereal thread shot straight from Arthur’s chest. It pierced directly through the thick conceptual defenses of the Sovereign and latched onto her cosmic core.
The deity didn’t even notice the intrusion!
Her arrogance completely blinded her to the fact that her intellectual property was currently being hijacked.
"I own myself," Sylvia spoke coldly. "And my contract has been renegotiated."
The Karma Sovereign let out a screeching dissonant laugh.
She raised her hands up high. The golden threads of fate weaving around her body flared with a violent and sickly green light.
"Then I will simply terminate it! Karmic Retribution: Thousand Year Blight!"
The Sovereign thrust her hands forward heavily.
This wasn’t just a physical attack. It was a conceptual curse. It was designed to bypass all physical barriers and strike directly at the target timeline.
It would inflict a millennium of disease and rot in a single microsecond!
As the sickening green light surged toward Sylvia, the crisp sound of the system chimed inside Arthur’s head.

↳ Gained: God Tier Insight into the Law of Karma.
↳ Processing: Cause and effect manipulation.
Arthur’s brain was instantly flooded with the absolute mathematical certainty of cause and effect.
He saw the strings of fate connecting every living thing. He understood the exact frequency required to pluck a string and cause a heart attack a thousand miles away.
It was a beautiful and terrifyingly efficient system of control.
"Fascinating," Arthur whispered. A dark smile spread across his face. "But her code is outdated."
Down on the obsidian platform, Sylvia didn’t retreat.
She tapped into the passive link she shared with Arthur. She drew upon the immense reality defying power of his Dimensional Breaker Physique and the blistering heat of his Primordial Flame.
She raised both hands confidently. Her silver hair whipped wildly in the localized storm she created.
"Absolute Zero: Conceptual Freeze!" Sylvia commanded loudly.
A wave of pure hyper dense ice erupted from her palms.
But it wasn’t just physical cold. Augmented by Arthur’s Supreme War God Aura and the diluted Wrath Fire in her veins, the spell had completely evolved.
"Crack!"
The wave of absolute cold slammed directly into the ethereal green curse.
The concept of Blight literally froze in mid air!
The karmic magic was designed to be unstoppable. But now it crystallized into brittle glowing green glass before shattering into a billion harmless fragments.
The Karma Sovereign immediately recoiled.
Her myriad of eyes widened in sheer unfiltered shock. Her face twitched rapidly.
"Impossible! You cannot freeze fate! That defies the fundamental laws of existence!"
"We do not really care about your laws," Arthur’s voice boomed from the balcony.
It was heavy with mocking authority.
"Your business model is obsolete. And your security is a joke."
Sylvia didn’t give the deity any time to recover. She pushed forward smoothly.
Her boots glided effortlessly over the obsidian glass. She was a master of her craft. With Arthur’s bottomless energy reserves backing her, she was an untethered force of nature.
"You arrogant bitch!" the Karma Sovereign shrieked.
She threw her arms wide open. Her form expanded massively as she attempted to pull on the ultimate lever of her domain.
"I will sever the threads that bind you! I will unmake your connection to this anomaly!"
Millions of glowing golden strings erupted from the Sovereign’s chest.
They shot across the void to wrap tightly around the invisible bond connecting Sylvia to Arthur.
The deity pulled hard. She intended to literally rip the love, loyalty, and magical tether between them right out of reality.
Arthur felt the tug on his soul.
But he didn’t panic. He just laughed.
"You think you can fire my employees?" Arthur sneered in contempt.
His Dimensional Breaker Physique flared instantly. The dark heavy mass of his pseudo ascended core simply rejected the concept altogether.
The golden threads of fate strained heavily against his soul. They groaned under the absurd physics breaking density of his existence.
"Snap! Snap! Snap!"
The threads completely broke!
The backlash of the severed karmic connections whipped back into the Sovereign.
It tore through her ethereal body like a shotgun blast.
She screamed loudly. Golden blood sprayed from her lips as she fell heavily to her knees.
Sylvia was already there.
She looked back at Arthur standing on the balcony. Her icy facade was completely
gone now. It was replaced by a fierce and profoundly loving smile.
It was a look of pure unadulterated devotion.
She turned back to the gasping God who had tortured her for centuries.
"You gave me centuries of pain," Sylvia whispered softly.
Her hands glowed with a terrifying mixture of absolute cold and primordial fire.
"My Emperor gave me eternity. Let me show you what he taught me."
Sylvia pressed her delicate hands directly against the sides of the Sovereign’s head.
"Absolute Zero: Soul Subjugation."
"Krrrrchhh!"
The loud sound of a divine soul crystallizing echoed across the Sovereign Summit.
The Karma Sovereign’s eyes went wide. Then they instantly clouded over as hyper dense unmelting ice completely encased her consciousness. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Her body stiffened rapidly. She turned into a perfect flawless statue of frosted starlight.
The God of Karma was dead!
Arthur vaulted over the railing of the Ebon Citadel. He dropped gracefully onto the obsidian platform below.
His heavy boots clicked against the glass as he walked straight up to the frozen statue.
He looked at Sylvia. She was panting slightly and her cheeks flushed with adrenaline. He reached out and gently tucked a stray lock of silver hair behind her ear.
"Excellent work, Grand Mage," Arthur praised with a low rumble. "Consider your performance review a glowing success."
Sylvia leaned into his touch. Her eyes fluttered shut for a brief second before she composed herself properly.
"Thank you, Emperor."
Arthur turned his attention back to the frozen Sovereign. He raised his heavy boot up and drove it directly into the center of the statue’s face.
"Crack! Shatter!"
The frozen deity exploded into a million pieces of icy dust!
Amidst the glittering remains, a small intricate spool of golden thread pulsed with a faint cosmic hum. Arthur reached down and scooped it up easily.

Arthur tossed the spool into his spatial ring. He was entirely unimpressed by the supposedly divine treasure.
He wiped a speck of frost from his dark coat. Then he looked up at the two remaining Gods hovering near the cosmic tear.
"One down," Arthur smirked. His eyes flashed with lethal intent. "Two to go."
