Infinite Evolution: Dominating The Apocalypse With My God Tier Items
Chapter 105: Plans (200 Powerstone Bonus - 2/2)
{A/N: Finally I’m debt free!}
This felt too good to be true... but indeed it was!
No matter how dense and ignorant of the wider world Seth might be, even he could tell this item... "it has the ability to incite a bloodbath."
If such a treasure ever got out, the number of powers that would vie for it — even battling to the death — would be numerous.
After all, imagine the effect of such a treasure on someone who had 10,000 stat points in the will attribute.
A shiver went down Seth’s spine at the thought.
He didn’t dare summon the weapon. He didn’t dare test anything on Earth.
This wasn’t the Origin Realm. Earth was still undergoing changes and evolution just like its inhabitants.
And strictly speaking, it was still a tad bit too weak. Thinking about the level of damage he could wreak even as a Shackled Rank creature, its fragility was obvious.
So doing anything rash while on Earth wouldn’t be wise. He could cause irreparable damage, or accidentally cause a genocide if he wasn’t careful.
There was a reason even the Duskreaver ancestors didn’t dare leave the family mansion.
So as amazing as this treasure might be, it could only sit and continue to collect dust in his inventory.
Because even after going back to the Origin Realm, he couldn’t use it recklessly.
He still had to be wary of prying eyes, before he became a prime target for everyone just because of his treasure.
The little worm had finished feeding on its shell, and an undulating onyx essence began to billow from its tiny frame.
Seth didn’t bother to name the pet. After all, once it became a Glyph there would be no need.
He used his finger to caress its little head. "It’s time, little guy."
As a Glyph Dragon, it couldn’t even survive a full day without a host, so naturally Seth had to be quick with merging with it.
The little guy seemed to understand. Its extremely tiny beady eyes gleamed with a small flash of purple.
After feeding off Seth’s essence to be born, it naturally held this trait of Seth’s aura.
A billowing wave of dark mist slowly covered its small frame. The mist whirled into a mini tempest, swallowing Seth’s whole arm in an instant.
"Argh!" Seth groaned, caught off guard as his entire arm began to burn and sting.
His skin itched, it tingled, it stung. A rush of blood made his face blush from the sudden pain.
But he still swallowed the scream that threatened to escape his throat, only letting out occasional grunts.
And finally, after what seemed like minutes passed, the dark mist cleared...
The sleeves of his shirt that had been covering his arms were reduced to ash, revealing the pristine tanned skin beneath.
His biceps bulged, his muscles defined like steel cords pressing against his skin, and on the very skin itself something new had appeared.
An inky black glyph, like a tattooed imprint of an ancient obsidian dark dragon.
And compared to the size of the actual physical form of the Glyph Dragon, this was bigger, much more defined.
And a little bit too lifelike. Every obsidian scale fleshed out with chilling realism, its deep purple slits tearing through the black sclera seemed to stare right back at Seth.
He could swear this thing was breathing. Heck, he could feel it breathing. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
The dragon glyph coiled its tail from his shoulder joints to the back of his hands, its head just short of reaching his fingers.
The glyph pulsed no light, only darkness — the type of darkness that only becomes more defined in light, and reflected no light.
Seth could feel the separate stream of essence flowing through the imprint, something he could tap into.
So now, aside from having double essence pools compared to others, it was safe to say he had three!
He closed his eyes and he could feel the skills of the dragon, just like he could access his own gene skills he could activate them anytime.
He could also feel the creature’s stats. Though limited, he could definitely benefit from them.
The consciousness of the Glyph Dragon began waning. After all, this was a parasite. Naturally its thoughts could never be complex, and it could only be driven by instincts.
"Wonderful." Seth exclaimed. This was a great boon.
With this Glyph Dragon, one could even say he had the dragon bloodline running through him.
And not to add — he just got himself a badass tattoo.
Counting his gains: an unparalleled pet parasite, and a supreme treasure item.
Seth felt satiated. What more could he want?
The thought alone that he would be getting three more of such level of item every week filled him with euphoria.
Plus he had enough funds to buy them all. Even a broken item like the Will Manifestation Ring was only listed at 6,000 Flash Points.
"I need to find a way to upgrade the Flash Sale System." Seth’s eyes flashed.
If he could upgrade the system again, the amount of sales would increase — meaning more treasures for him!
And as for what he needed for an upgrade? Corruption seeds.
"I guess I will be answering the government’s call after all," Seth mused.
If he was going to collect a lot of corruption seeds, he needed to clear as many zones as possible.
He didn’t know how many seeds he was going to need to trigger the next upgrade.
Last time it only took one, so definitely for the next upgrade it would need more.
As for the specific amount needed, Seth couldn’t tell. Five? Twenty?
Whatever. Now he was Awakened, clearing corruption zones would be easier.
As long as he struck while the zones were still yet to be fully formed — meaning the chances of there being other Awakeneds was near zero — he would have it easy.
Thinking of Charm Beasts, Seth wondered how much more exaggerated their prowess would become once they awakened.
The thought sent a chill down his back, sweat beading from his pores.
This was the best opportunity they could get to clear as many zones as they could.
"Only if there was a way to cross continents," Seth lamented... After all, he couldn’t be thinking about his country alone.
If humans wanted to survive this and come out on top, they couldn’t be divided by things of the past. They had to forget nationality and petty skirmishes and become a greater, more unified whole.
His eyelids became heavy once more. With no more incentive to keep staying awake, Seth sprawled comfortably on the bed, not even bothering to change his torn shirt, his mind drifting into slumber.
