I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100 - Chapter 453: Your Doom
"Family?" Lance chuckled. "I created my own family and no one is going to tell me otherwise."
The light that was wrapped around his body like a second skin has now vanished, revealing Lance who was exactly like he was before. His physical features reverted except for his clothes. đťđłâŻâŻđ¤âŻđˇđŻâ´đâŻđ.đâ´đ
He was now wearing a golden robe that was embelished with gold ornaments. He looked like an Eastern overlord with his outfit, matching his yellow aura that was glowing like the sun around him.
"Lance..." Lady Hao whispered. "You should have awoken the power of the Sun. What happened?"
"I did get the power of the Terran Eternal," Lance said. "But I didnât accept everything."
"What?" Lady Hao growled. "And why not?"
"Your millenia of revenge has to stop, Lady Hao," Lance said. "Youâre only trying to make me into the Terran Eternal because you want my father to posses my body, just so you could kill him."
"But what he did to my daughter is unacceptable!" Lady Hao growled. "He left her pregnant and then gave the child overwhelming powers, something that my daughter couldnât bear. What do I have to do?"
"You should learn to forgive," Elliot said from afar. He walked closer to them, Lady Hao glaring at him as he stepped closer. "You donât have to kill Lance just so you could feel better about your daughterâs death."
"Oh," Lady Hao paused. "You think I donât know that? You think I forced myself to live for three thousand years and not realize that my daughter did not want this?"
"Then why?" Lance asked. "Why do you have to dot this, then?"
"For my peace of mind!" Lady Hao yelled. "For my own peace of mind. Donât you get that?"
"I was wondering what this floating island is."
The air suddenly felt heavy and cold. The atmosphere became more and more pressured as a force of intensity appeared from nowhere.
"I have to tell DuDu about this," the man spoke again.
Everyone looked up and saw a man wearing a white robe. He was holding a string instrument while hovering in the air cross legged. His head was slightly tilted to the side as he closed his eyes and hummed. "He will be happy."
Lady Hao pushed Lanceâs hand away from her and pointed her fan at the man. "Why are you here?"
The man looked down and smiled. "I missed my true body. Right now, while youâre delaying these fools, my men has infiltrated all the Crysal Maidenâs dens. We have all of them. It wonât be long before we have the Rouge Maiden in our hands too. She will come, Iâm sure."
"Brave of you to use your real body huh, Licht?" Lady Hao growled. "Iâll show you where your confidence will end. Right in my hands!"
The woman leaped off of the ground and into Lichtâs level. She summoned four large swords made of mana in front of her, encircling them before making them shoot beams of light that aimed at Licht.
The man slightly opened his eyes and grinned, strumming his string instrument once and created a white see through sphere around him that blocked the attack. When the beams faded, he strummed his instrument again and this time, white arms made of aura exited his back.
Each arm raised their palms and pointed them at Lady Hao before shooting several spheres of light. He was showering the woman with his attacks and he wasnât bothered on holding back at all.
Lady Hao responded by opening her fan and created a giant fan in front of her. She waved her little fan, making the giant fan follow its direction. The mechanic of her technique was much like Edâs arm.
She looked at Ed and smirked, "I got this from you."
Ed shook his head and turned to look at Elliot, "Should we join? That is the Diamond Emperor. If we can kill him now, then we only have one more Emperor to worry about."
"We canât," Elliot replied, making Ed purse his lips.
"And why not? We can just go there and fight," he said, looking up again but this time his eyes widened. "What is that?"
Around Licht and Lady Hao was a light mist of darkness. The darkness was freely roaming around them, like a cloud that traveling around itself.
"Field of the Dead," Lance said. "Licht mustâve aged himself for a thousand years. In that area, only those who had lived a millenium can enter."
"Canât you enter and help?" Connor asked. "Didnât Lady Hao said that you were a million years old?"
Lance snorted and shook his head, "When I was inside my motherâs womb, she stopped the time so I technical didnât live for a thousand years."
"But youâre also not from here," Elliot said. "Lance, I now think youâre the Prophesized Boy."
Lanceâs eyes widened, "W-What?"
"The one who will end Malice," Elliot clarified. "A boy touched by both darkness and light. He will have overwhelming powers that will stop evil once and for all. Malice was coming after you because she knows this. Youâre the Terran Eternal, that makes it even clearer."
"Elliotâ"
"Everyone, we should protect Lance," Elliot said. "He will be our trump card against Malice when the time comes that we fight her."
"No!" Lady Hao yelled, making them look at the woman.
Licht was now holding her neck, the man finally stood up and was grinning as his grip on the womanâs neck got tighter. "Youâre an old fool if you think that you can win against me. Your powers had long since faded."
"But donât think that Iâm the only one here that can go against you," Lady Hao smirked. "He just wanted to see me in pain to get back at me."
Licht tilted his head to the side, "What?"
Out of nowhere, the black mist that was hovering around them exploded into nothingness. Lichtâs eyes widened and his grip on Lady Hao loosened, creating a chance for the woman to escape.
"Who did that?" Licht growled.
Irus laughed above them, sitting on a throne cross legged while he leaned his elbow on the arm rest while his head was leaning on his hand. "That was it? You couldâve injured her more, you know."
"Who are you?" Licht asked. "How come I just felt you now?"
"Me?" Irus asked. "Iâm your doom."
