Sheng Zong felt that his elder sister was getting more and more naggy.

Sheng Tang asked for the pier’s location, planning to take a cab there, but all the drivers said it was too far and refused to go.

In that moment, Sheng Tang really wanted to buy a car, so she could park it in the company’s underground parking lot and let her assistant Ai’ai use it when needed.

Gu Jiahui didn’t really want to take her anyway. He had a video conference with his dad in the study soon, and he wasn’t in the best mood.

"Come back soon." Gu Jiahui said.

Sheng Tang nodded.

The car drove out of the city, heading toward the seaside.

The weather in October was great, the skies high and clear, reflecting the blue sea, blending heaven and water into one. Before getting close to the seawall, they could hear the cries of seagulls, fluttering above the translucent sea curtain.

There was no wind today, Sheng Tang got out of the car at the pier.

The sea surface reflected the sunlight, glittering with ripples, and the waves gently washed the fine sand, cleaning the beige beach, making it smooth as a mirror.

A yacht was docked at the pier.

Sheng Tang saw a silhouette wildly waving at her—it was her half-sister, Xu Yun.

"Sis!" Xu Yun’s voice pierced the skies, filling Sheng Tang’s ears.

Sheng Tang shook her head helplessly, unable to hold back a smile.

She swiftly boarded the yacht.

The yacht wasn’t big, it could only accommodate up to twenty people including the captain and two crew members, making it perfect for a sea trip.

As she boarded, Sheng Tang asked Xu Yun, "Where did you guys get this yacht?"

Xu Yun smiled without answering.

Sheng Tang asked again, "Where’s your brother?"

Xu Yun pointed to the area below the deck.

Just as Sheng Tang was about to call out, she saw someone stick their head out from the cabin below the deck.

His thick black hair framed his face as he stood in the bright sunshine, the black hair faintly glowing, making him look even more handsome.

He smiled at Sheng Tang.

Sheng Tang’s breath inexplicably caught. She remembered her brother’s words from last time, and a hint of unease flashed through her heart as she also smiled back at him, "So this is your boat."

"It’s not mine. I didn’t feel safe letting them rent just any boat, and it just so happened my sister had a spare one, so I borrowed it for a while." Gu Shiting walked up completely.

The sunlight cast his shadow long.

The salty sea breeze tousled his neat hair. His disheveled hair gave him an inexplicable sharpness, no longer the silent and gentle young man.

"We can set sail now!" Xu Yun shouted, breaking the silence between Sheng Tang and Gu Shiting.

The yacht left the pier.

Sheng Tang initially planned to come over and take all three of them back, but she ended up becoming one of the yacht’s passengers.

The yacht split the azure sea, heading out to the horizon. The pier grew distant and eventually vanished, surrounded by the blue seawater.

Sheng Zong came up from the cabin.

Sheng Tang scolded him for a bit, but before she finished speaking, Gu Shiting walked over.

"Tangtang, come, I have something to tell you." His voice was clear and low, like it held some kind of brewing emotion.

Sheng Tang had a faint premonition, but she couldn’t grasp what it was.

She followed Gu Shiting down to the cabin.

The yacht had three cabins, the main one was the size of a master bedroom, with a bed, furniture, and even a spacious bathroom.

Gu Shiting sat on the sofa, motioning for Sheng Tang to sit as well.
