The following day,

After getting ready, I walked outside. I had decided to leave today by the evening. But before that, I decided to buy some important items.

I had come across wondrous places. What if I encounter danger? I need something to break the situation.

So, I’m going to look at what the magic store in this city has. I approached the car driver and asked him to stop at the famous magic store in the city.

A few minutes later, the flying car departed from the place. Yesterday, I had visited the famous places in the city, so I knew the names of the important places here.

After getting outside, I paid the fare to the driver. The driver thanked me and told me that I could find everything here.

His words piqued my curiosity. I’m not wearing any mask today. Since I’m going to leave the city today, I don’t think there will be any trouble.

I walked into the shop and was immediately greeted by one of the staff members. She was a middle-aged woman.

Seeing that, the other staff backed away. They were really waiting to grab customers.

I asked her to take me around the shop. The middle-aged woman smiled and started taking me around. There were ten floors in the building.

I was going to take my time, and I would use the system probe function to find good items.

The middle-aged woman was happily introducing the items. She was a level-9 Wizard, but she found the strength of the customer to be stronger.

She felt a sense of crisis. So, she thought the guest was a Supreme Wizard or above. She was happy that a big customer had arrived.

She could get more commission.

On the other hand, I was looking toward the glass shelves. There were magic items placed inside. There were antiques, magic artifacts, books, and other materials.

You could find anything here, including herbal treasures and materials for puppet creation.

While looking at the objects, I used the system probe function to find anything useful.

But I kept my expression neutral. Then, I followed the system results to find the source. In one of the glass cases, there was an antique ore.

Seeing that, I was surprised. Why would the ore be mentioned as an antique? Then, I walked up to the wooden counter.

Behind the counter was the glass shelf. The middle-aged woman was surprised. She then saw the antique ore as well. Her eyes flashed with understanding.

She said, "We found this rare ore in one of the ruins. But the usage of the rare ore is unknown. So, we have kept it as an antique piece."

Hearing that, I didn’t ask about the ore directly.

Instead, I said, "Are there any other antique ores?"

The middle-aged woman was surprised. She nodded her head and said, "Yes, we have some collections."

"I want to buy a few of them," I expressed my interest in the end.

"Guests, we offer the best price. So don’t worry about the deal," the middle-aged woman said.

I nodded to her. Then, she took me around the other floors. Not all the antique ores were kept on the first floor. So, we went to other floors to find the antique items.

It didn’t take me long to see the antique ores. I silently used the system probe function. But none of the other antique ores were treasures.

Yet, I showed a face of some interest. The middle-aged woman saw this and noted down the item names.

"I want these four antique ores and that one on the first floor," I said to her.

The middle-aged woman smiled and said, "Guest, I will take you to a room. You can rest there. I will bring you those items."

"Our manager will negotiate the final price," she added.

Hearing that, I agreed.

A few minutes later,

The middle-aged woman brought me to the guest room. I sat down inside. I was excited, but I kept my heart calm.

I didn’t want the manager or others to hear my heartbeat. Then, I began to arrange my low-grade mana stones.

I had mid-grade and super-grade mana stones. Forget about the super-grade mana stones, I couldn’t even take out the mid-grade mana stones.

I would try to use the low-grade mana stones.

A few minutes later,

The middle-aged woman brought the five antique ores to the room. She was happy and smiling. She was going to make a commission.

An old man in his sixties walked into the room. He was wearing the uniform of the magic store. The old man’s gaze fell on the young man.

He saw the strength of the young man. Seeing that the strength of the young man was that of a Supreme Wizard, he was surprised. The old man was taken aback.

It was rare to see such a young wizard. Now, he was sure that the guest had come here to buy items.

"Place the materials on the table," he said.

Hearing that, the middle-aged woman nodded her head and placed the five antique ores on the table. The old man knew about the antique ores.

He didn’t find anything special about them except for them being antiques. He took his device and checked the price in the database.

Obviously, he was going to sell them for a higher price. Then, the negotiations would start.

After doing the calculation, he said, "The five antiques totally cost around 5,000 low-grade mana stones."

Hearing that, I smiled and didn’t rush into the deal. I was the owner of an appraisal shop as well, so I knew the inner workings.

"Let’s do it for 3,000," I replied.

The old man was stunned. He didn’t expect the young man to negotiate right away because the exact price was marked in the database.
