With a frown on his face, Li watched the massive wave of grotesque bodies slam into the tall and wide ’Wall’.

A shudder traveled through the air, and an ethereal shield appeared just right before the physical wall.

The Mana catalysts in the Towers had begun to do what they were made for.

"There’s a lot of them down there, Jenny." Li muttering then sighed.

Jenny’s black hair fluttered in the wind. With deft hands, she quickly rolled her hair up into a bun and readjusted the butt of her zniper to sit comfortably on her shoulder.

"Let’s try to take our as many of them as possible."

Without turning around, she called out,

"Sue."

A soft, chuckle came from behind her,

"I’m already on it."

Sue stood on the back of the {Blood Skyray}, the embodiment of elegance, her dainty fingers swimming in the air as her lips chanted the words of her spell.

The world grew several shades darker as an enormous magic circle appeared in the sky, even as the tempo of her chants continued to rise.

"Both of you, get ready. You’ll be dropping in once she gets the first spell."

Stan nodded, adjusting the helmet on his head,

"Yes, ma’am."

Li rolled his eyes at Stan who simply scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

"In any case, we are now sure of the existence of other survivors besides us."

Stan shrugged, "It shouldn’t be much of a surprise. After all, we have managed to survive until now. I don’t think we are special in any way."

Li snorted, "Of course we are. We have that Demon leader of ours. But in any case, I agree. Still, it is quite surpri—!"

BANG!

The sound of a shit crackling through the air broke their conversation as the {Blood Skyray} tilted to the side.

Li’s eyes widened as his head swiveled,

"That... Don’t you think this rifle of yours is too powerful, Jenny."

Jenny’s brows furrowed as she glanced down at the modified weapon.

"You think so? I think it is a bit underwhelming."

Both Lin and Stan trembled,

’Terrifying!’

They shook their heads.

"We can continue this conversation later." Li said as he rose to his feet and began walking towards one of the Skyray’s wings while Stan did the same.

As they did, Sue was finally done with her chants.

The incredibly beautiful, gargantuan magic circle above them crumbled into pieces and began falling back onto the surface of the world like motes of glowing stardust.

The spells was already beginning to take shape.

In but a split second, those motes of stardust had become molten balls of fire, cutting blazing trails through the world.

Almost instantly, a large portion of the attacking Beasts were burned to ash and cinder.

Sue wiped off the layer of sweat on her forehead and turned to Li with a wide grin on her face,

"You are up. Good luck."

Taking a good look at his little sister, Li shook his head and snorted,

"Since when did you become a battle-crazed maniac as well? So much bad influence around must be horrible for your growth."

A look of annoyance appeared on Sue’s face, but before she could get a word in, Li grinned and jumped off the back of the {Blood Skyray}.

Gravity claimed him instan.

The wind screaming past his ears, Li tilted his gaze a little.

He heard another magically enhanced bullets crackle through the air. He looked to his side. Stan was taking the plunge with him as well.

Stan wore a set of brass enchanted armor. Coupled with his golden saber, he loved very well, like a war god.

He on the other hand...

He wore leather battle gear; something that would not easily burn up when he used his skills and spells. Unfortunately, metal was not such materials as it tended to melt easily. This includes even magically enhanced and enchanted metals.

His weapons were a pair of gauntlets and sabatons that heightened the impact of his punches and kicks, as well as adding an additional effect that could speed him up the melee heat he generated, turning him into a blazing machine of destruction.

As they made their descent, Li caught sight of something else.

’Is that...’

He had been informed initially that there were a few other reinforcements on their way.

But he hadn’t expected them to be...

His eyes narrowed as he took a closer look.

Falling from the other side of the sky, encased in his {Golden Angel Battlesuit}, Haru sucked in a deep breath.

The visor of the battlesuit lit up with white light that cut through the dark sky with blinding radiance.

A deep buzzing noise came from the suit of armor as it whirred to life.

On the ground, a {Black Horned Lizard}, a creature the size of a small car, with incredible reflexes and the speed looked up.

Its reptilian eyes caught sight of something descending from the dark heavens.

It rushed to move out of the way.

BANG!

A shower of blood and bones filled the air.

Shrapnel from the obliterated {Black Horned Lizard} corpse cut through multiple other Mutant Creatures, turning them into baskets as well.

Dust clouded the air following the violence crash.

Through the dust cloud, five beams of light cut through.

The five-man unit had descended from the sky like hail.

"Let’s get this started!" Haru declared with a loud roar.

Hundreds of runes lit up on the surface of the armor. A blade made entirely of condensed mana shot out of the armor’s forearm.

With a swing, Haru sliced a wild Mutant Creature in half. The Mana blade was so hot, the wound was instantly cauterized and did not bleed.

The tide of Mutant Creatures was impeded just for a moment.

The next second however, the full fury of a thousand beasts came down hard on the five-man unit.

Still falling from the sky, Li and Stan had their eyes bulging and their mouths wide open.

"Holy hell. The balls on those guys. That was a wicked entrance." Stan muttered in amazement.

Li sighed and shook his head,

"Those fools are trying to steal our spotlight."

A smoldering heat began to surrounding him as his lips widened into a grin,

"Looks like we will have to outdo them then!"
