Wei Jiangqi pleaded again, "Don’t—"

A mocking expression appeared on Chen Gu’s face. "I don’t believe it! A brain that’s been in such a closed environment without sustenance for over a thousand years could have much strength left! It’s lucky to be alive. It probably used all its strength just to lift those black threads earlier."
